16:50 Curragh Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

OCEAN BAROQUE offered plenty of encouragement when filling the runner-up spot over C&D on his racecourse bow earlier this month and the now-gelded son of Caravaggio must hold every chance of building on that. Jakajaro will be worth monitoring closely in the market, having recorded a staying-on sixth over 5f at Cork on his debut, along with Joseph O'Brien's newcomer Absolute Advantage. Others worthy of consideration include Velvet Skies and Nemonte.

OCEAN BAROQUE showed plenty when second over this C&D earlier this month and sets a high standard. Jakajaro shaped like a potential improver when sixth at Cork so is respected, with stablemates Absolute Advantage and Nemonte making most appeal of the newcomers.

Plenty of unknown quantities here, but the logical choice is OCEAN BAROQUE, second to a potentially smart filly on his debut

LTO Selection:

17:25 Curragh Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MACHNAMH ran her best race to date when weakening into fourth over a mile at Naas earlier in the month and Jim Bolger's filly could gain a breakthrough success now dropped in distance. Danvers Gold offered plenty of encouragement on her third-placed debut here last June and the daughter of Galileo is feared most. Roaming Star often goes well and is respected, while newcomers Nelda and Ostraka require market checks.

DANVERS GOLD did well under the circumstances when third in a big field here in June and he remains a useful prospect despite his absence. Sibyl Charm is worth another chance to confirm debut promise so is next best ahead of Machnamh, who took a step forward when fourth at Naas.

There is not enough speed on her dam's side to suggest that MRS DANVER, who showed promise over 7f at two, can win over this trip

LTO Selection:

18:00 Curragh Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Bellaphina surprised a few when winning a Limerick maiden in comprehensive style last month, giving the impression this extra furlong could bring out further improvement. However, the vote goes to the hat-trick seeking SNOWCAPPED, who was a most impressive scorer over 7f here earlier this month and can defy the 11lb rise she received for that success. Tea Olive is another who makes appeal having performed well on all three starts so far this season.

Jessica Harrington might be set for a second successive win in this useful fillies' handicap courtesy of the progressive SNOWCAPPED, who was well on top at the finish over 7f here last time and can make light of an 11 lb rise with the return to 1m in her favour. There should be more to come from Impact Warrior now handicapping and she's feared most ahead of Tea Olive, who has done well in lower-grade handicaps this spring.

Limerick maiden winner BELLAPHINA does not look badly treated for her handicap debut and can fly the flag for a small stable

LTO Selection:

18:30 Curragh Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SUBZERO was a clear second behind a progressive type, who has since come out and franked the form in Listed company, last time out over 7f at Leopardstown, and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat. The Franchise is fancied to pose the biggest threat based on the form of his racecourse debut third last August over C&D. Beyond The Steps heads the remainder.

SUBZERO took a step forward on his sole start as a juvenile when runner-up in first-time blinkers (discarded here) at Leopardstown (7.2f) 19 days ago and a repeat may well be enough to see him get off the mark. The Franchise rates the chief danger but market support behind appealing newcomer Beyond The Steps would put a different slant on things.

It was an encouraging return from SUBZERO (nap). With the form boosted and the potential of him coming on for that, he's the one to beat

19:00 Curragh Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHE'S IN THE GAME returned from a break to strike at Dundalk and now goes off an 11lb higher mark. Considering the manner of that victory, the daughter of Starspangledbanner is fancied to make it three out of her last three to continue on her upward curve. The main threat might be Miramis, who steps back down in distance after a solid third at Gowran Park and is just 1lb higher. Touching Clouds completes the shortlist on her handicap bow.

TOUCHING CLOUDS beat a subsequent winner when winning her maiden at Gowran last summer and she surely has more to offer now handicapping given her pedigree/connections. She's In The Game enhanced her excellent strike rate for this rider at Dundalk in March so must be respected along with Midnight Fire, who wasn't seen to best effect here last time.

A competitive contest but JERED MADDOX ran well for a long way in a decent race at Cork last week and drying ground will suit

19:30 Curragh Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Dunum continues to go from strength to strength and was a clear-cut winner on his Limerick return, while Earls burst back into life when denying All Lies Ahead at Cork. Joseph O'Brien holds a strong hand and while there is no denying Gambe Veloci was impressive when breaking through at Limerick, a chance is taken on his returning stablemate POINT GELLIBRAND, who has been set some stiff assignments. Tosen Wish, a former inmate of O'Brien's, caught the eye when fifth in Earls' Cork race.

Unsurprisingly plenty arrive with claims, and it could pay to take a chance on Cork eye-catcher TOSEN WISH. Very much catching the eye in the race won by re-opposing Earls on that occasion, he remains low-mileage on the back of just 4 career starts and can prove his mark lenient. Dunum, All Lies Ahead and aforementioned Earls head up the dangers in an ultra-competitive handicap.

Perhaps the most interesting runner is POINT GELLIBRAND, who is unexposed in handicap terms and may now prosper at four.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Curragh Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A fiendishly difficult race to unpick in which many would appear to hold chances, so only a tentative vote can go to the form horse DANDYVILLE. Natalia Lupini's charge racked up a brace of successes at Dundalk in November before returning with a decisive victory at Naas, so a subsequent 10lb rise might not be enough to stop him from completing the four-timer. Others to note include Hurricane Ivor, Tawaazon, Jon Riggens and last year's runner up Mickey The Steel.

Lots with chances in this very competitive handicap. DREAM TODAY made a solid return to turf when third to the reopposing Dandyville at Naas 3 weeks ago and is taken to turn the tables on 10 lb better terms. Natalia Lupini's charge is unlikely to go down without a fight as he bids for a 4-timer and is second choice ahead of recent Navan 1-2 Jon Riggens and Tawaazon.

It's hard to get away from DANDYVILLE who returned with a third win on the spin at Naas this month and he can come on for that

20:30 Curragh Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

In a competitive handicap A Shin Undine may prove popular after winning off a 7lb lower mark at Gowran Park. She can go well over this reduced trip, but preference is for FACETHEPUCKOUT, who was unlucky in running before coming home third at Naas and races off just a pound higher here. Others worthy of a place on the shortlist are Secret Spy and Helpmeout.

FACETHEPUCKOUT showed the benefit of his reappearance run and was arguably unlucky not to win when meeting interference at a crucial point when third at Naas (1m) 5 days ago and, unsurprisingly turned out quickly, he could well be up to making amends again partnered by Colin Keane. Dagoda remains a maiden but is knocking on the door and is feared, with Eloquent Arthur, Jaafel and Relevant Range others fancied to feature.

RELEVANT RANGE appears to be on a good mark back in a handicap and he's looked just as good on turf in the past
