13/2(-44%) | (5) Trojan Warrior 13/2, 11 Apr; Wootton Bassett colt; full-brother to One Of A Kind, fair at 7f; dam very smart at 7f at 2yo; top course trainer; wide draw; top trainer. Wootton Bassett colt is sole Ballydoyle runner so warrants major respect on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (6/4 +0%)Go Just Do It |
6/4(+0%) | (2) Go Just Do It 6/4, From a yard that won this last year. Finished 5 1/2l third in the Futurity Stakes (Group 2) over 7f here last time. Has a wide draw and returns from a short break; effective at 7f and acts on good ground. Debut form emphatically franked and should be winning soon; could be useful. Two Curragh runs over the summer make him leading player if handling softer conditions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (14/1 -40%)Expert Dancer |
14/1(-40%) | (9) Expert Dancer 14/1, Green but finished well on a promising debut when 4l fourth in a maiden at Naas. Effective at 6f with cut and should improve for the experience. Eyecatching recent Naas debut despite adversity; should improve enough to feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (9/2 +0%)Seoul Force |
9/2(+0%) | (4) Seoul Force 9/2, Ran to form when beaten 3l in a maiden over 7f here last time. Returns from a short break; effective at 7f and acts on soft and good ground. Debut form has been franked at Listed level and he should be up to winning a maiden. Bit to find with Go Just Do It on July run but shorter trip could suit; handles soft. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (6/4 +67%)Armada De Lope |
6/4(+67%) | (6) Armada De Lope 6/4, Outpaced but finished well on debut when beaten 5 1/4l in a maiden here. Has a wide draw; acts with cut and may stay further than 6f in time. Should improve for that initial experience. Raced away from the pace when beaten C&D favourite last month; better for that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (125/1 -25%)California Baby |
125/1(-25%) | (8) California Baby 125/1, Improved from debut, just tiring late when beaten 8l in a maiden over 7f at Dundalk last time. Effective at 6–7f on the all-weather but remains unproven on turf. Two recent Dundalk AW runs don't suggest she'll make an impact here on turf debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (50/1 +0%)Ochtar Againn |
50/1(+0%) | (11) Ochtar Againn 50/1, 8 Mar; 16,000 euros Profitable filly; half-sister to Ceo Stealth Mode, very useful at 6f. Half-sister to a 2yo 6f winner; market best guide on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (300/1 -275%)Cadreville |
300/1(-275%) | (1) Cadreville 300/1, Modest debut when well beaten in an auction race over 8f at Thurles on his only start. Has speed in his pedigree, and the drop from 1m may suit. Never sighted when well held on recent Thurles debut; likely to need more time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (12) (300/1 -100%)Whats It All About |
300/1(-100%) | (12) Whats It All About 300/1, Failed to build on debut, finishing down the field in a maiden over 7f here last time. Bred to want further than 6f and looks one for handicaps later on. Soundly beaten both starts, easily passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (300/1 -100%)Brave Approach |
300/1(-100%) | (7) Brave Approach 300/1, Too green to show anything when well beaten in a maiden at Naas on her only start. Bred to want further than 6f and likely to need more time. Always behind after slow start on recent Naas debut; can only be watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (300/1 -50%)Nthea Sky |
300/1(-50%) | (10) Nthea Sky 300/1, Outpaced on a poor debut when well beaten in a maiden at Naas on her only start. Has all to prove. Behind throughout on recent Naas debut; can only be watched. |

GO JUST DO IT brings solid form to the table and may prove difficult to beat if handling this softer ground. The Kingman colt was beaten just over a length on debut in the 7f maiden won by New Zealand here in July and again shaped well on his only subsequent start when third behind Constitution River in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes. Seoul Force is proven on soft ground but already had the benefit of a run when a length and a half behind the selection in the aforementioned maiden. Michael's Well merits respect on his debut second at Naas, while Trojan Warrior represents Ballydoyle and is by Wootton Bassett out of a Fastnet Rock mare that was a Listed winner as a juvenile.

A strong-looking sprint maiden in which GO JUST DO IT is taken to confirm maiden form with Seoul River

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (20/1 -11%)Storm Averted |
20/1(-11%) | (9) Storm Averted 20/1, Scored by 3 1/4l off 66 over 7f at Galway three starts back. Up in trip last time and failed to get home when seventh beaten 10l off 73. Effective at 7–8f and suited by some give; erratic. Form is over further; others preferred back in trip. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

7/1(+0%) | (3) Greek Flower 7/1, Ran to current form when beaten 6 1/4l in a handicap here last time from a wide draw. Effective over 5–6f; in moderate form but goes well at the Curragh. 2023 winner hasn't won since; tough ask last time, back to his level here. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (17) (28/1 -27%)Polar Bear |
28/1(-27%) | (17) Polar Bear 28/1, Needed the run when beaten 7 1/4l in a handicap over 5f at Navan last time. Blinkers on for the first time. Effective at 5–7f, best at 5f, suited by give in the ground but currently out of form. Entitled to come on for last month's comeback run and blinkers replace cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (5) (14/1 -56%)Laugh A Minute |
14/1(-56%) | (5) Laugh A Minute 14/1, A bit below form when fourth, beaten 5l in a handicap here last time. Top jockey back on board. A veteran effective at 5–6f who acts on soft and good ground; not the force of old but capable off this mark and best at the Curragh. Way off his prime but encouraging signs in headgear latest; Keane takes over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (2) (25/1 -257%)Likedbymike |
25/1(-257%) | (2) Likedbymike 25/1, Ran to form when beaten 1/2l off 79 over 5f at Naas last time. Effective at 5f and acts on yielding and good ground; best form at Cork and remains in good heart. Knocking on the door of late in handicaps but stiffer stamina test may not be ideal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (13) (6/1 +57%)Noble Nation |
6/1(+57%) | (13) Noble Nation 6/1, Needed the run when down the field in a handicap at Fairyhouse most recently. Effective at 5–6f and suited by plenty of cut; could build on that reappearance. Blew start last time; ground in his favour here and could step up on recent efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (15) (40/1 -122%)Gordon Bennett |
40/1(-122%) | (15) Gordon Bennett 40/1, Never threatened when beaten 9l in a handicap here last time. Cheekpieces on for the first time. Best at sprint trips on a sound surface; needs luck in running, on a long losing run but has dropped a long way in the weights and goes well at the Curragh. Not that easy to win with but can't be ruled out with cheekpieces belatedly tried. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (7) (66/1 -136%)Ardeur |
66/1(-136%) | (7) Ardeur 66/1, May have found the ground too testing when beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap over 8f here last time. Cheekpieces on for the first time. Effective at 6f but needs to show more for her new yard. Trips too far of late; back in trip here with cheekpieces tried. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
16th (8) (40/1 -100%)Mile End |
40/1(-100%) | (8) Mile End 40/1, Forced wide but ran to current form when beaten 6l in a handicap over 8f at Bellewstown last time. Effective at 7f and suited by plenty of cut; in good form over hurdles prior to a recent flat disappointment. Back in trip here and McMonagle booked but not an obvious one on recent form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
17th (14) (150/1 -200%)Evangelic |
150/1(-200%) | (14) Evangelic 150/1, Far too keen and found nothing when fourth, beaten 52l in a 3yo race over 10f at Roscommon latest. Effective at 7f on fast ground in the UK but out of form for his new yard. Two poor recent runs for current yard over longer trips and now drops markedly in distance. |

DMANIAC handles soft ground well and has advertised his claims twice this autumn. The Martin Hassett-trained gelding beat all bar Gerrit's Gem in a 20-runner 6f Cork handicap last month and had a couple of these rivals behind when third to Unique Journey, who has won again since. over C&D last time. Jon Riggens and Staysound Susie make a quick reappearance after filling the minor placings behind Unique Journey here on Thursday, while Likedbymike has been placed twice in recent weeks. Smoke Them Out had a couple of these behind when scoring over C&D on testing ground earlier this month.

Very open but perhaps there could be a bit of value to be had in the maiden DMANIAC who ran well over C&D last time

5/1(-122%) | (7) Sugar Island 5/1, Helped set the pace for a stablemate when finishing down the field in the Fillies' Mile (Group 1) at Newmarket last time. Yard has won the last two runnings of this race. Effective at 1m, handles good to soft and good ground, and can do better down in class. Second in the May Hill, ran in Fillies' Mile, could collect here if handling the ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (6/1 +40%)Thundering On |
6/1(+40%) | (8) Thundering On 6/1, Had too much to do but showed promise when fourth, beaten 4 1/4l, in a maiden over 7f here on debut. Effective at 7f with cut in the ground and should improve when stepped up to 1m or further. Beaten 4 1/4l in fourth behind Cameo on debut, looks capable of winning races.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (15/2 -36%)Ice Dancer |
15/2(-36%) | (3) Ice Dancer 15/2, Quickened and improved for debut experience when winning a maiden at Gowran Park by 1/2l last time. Yard has won the last two runnings of this race. Effective at 1m and handles ground with cut. Form has been franked, with more to come. Handled testing conditions at Gowran, gets the trip and can win more races as she matures. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (2/1 +64%)Cameo |
2/1(+64%) | (1) Cameo 2/1, Quickened clear for a comfortable win when landing a maiden here over 7f by 2 1/4l last time. Yard has won the last two runnings of this race. Effective at 7-8f, very well bred for top connections, and likely capable of better. Won a 7f maiden here on third start, fair chance of reversing previous form with La Fogata. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (4/1 +64%)Stars Will Shine |
4/1(+64%) | (6) Stars Will Shine 4/1, Improved when stepping up in trip for a comfortable 5l win in an auction race at Down Royal over 7f last time. Effective at 6-7f and suited by cut in the ground. Continues to progress. Looks a useful prospect but stablemate Caught U Sleeping has stronger credentials. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (12/1 -33%)Caught U Sleeping |
12/1(-33%) | (2) Caught U Sleeping 12/1, Improved for debut experience when third, beaten 3l, in the Ingabelle Stakes (Listed) over 7f at Leopardstown on latest run. Effective at 7f with speed in pedigree, so further may not suit. Acts on good ground and continues to improve. Debut winner at Naas, interesting based on Leopardstown third behind a Classic hope. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (11/1 +61%)Ifweonlyhavelove |
11/1(+61%) | (4) Ifweonlyhavelove 11/1, Improved from debut when second, beaten 1/2l, in a maiden at Cork on latest start under a positive ride. Cheekpieces on for the first time. Effective at 1m and handles ground with cut. Latest form has been franked and she's progressing. Did well to split two Ballydoyle-trained fillies at Cork, faces tough task against winners. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (11/1 -120%)La Fogata |
11/1(-120%) | (5) La Fogata 11/1, Ran to form and benefited from a drop in grade when winning a maiden at Punchestown by 1/2l last time. Effective at 7-8f and acts on good ground. Will need more back up in class here. Stayed this trip well at Punchestown, not certain to uphold form with third-placed Cameo. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

An impressive winner of her maiden at Punchestown last month, LA FOGATA can follow up. Although the third filly franked the form since, it was more the manner of victory and, turn of foot shown by the Ger Lyons-trained juvenile that caught the eye. Previously fourth in a Group 3 over this course and distance, the daughter of Mehmas ran green before the penny dropped late on. Even at that, she still managed to finish in front of one of her main rivals here, Sugar Island. The latter has to be respected, given that she subsequently went on to finish third in a Group 2 at Doncaster. Listed placed Caught U Sleeping also boasts strong claims for Noel Meade.

There was plenty of ease in the ground when SUGAR ISLAND was second in the May Hill at Doncaster and she may prove the pick here

1st (6) (7/1 +22%)Likewhatyousee |
7/1(+22%) | (6) Likewhatyousee 7/1, Ran a bit below form when second, beaten 4l, in a maiden over 1m5f at Bellewstown last time; probably stays 12f, acts on good ground, and is just useful. Seems to be improving but would get weight from three of these rivals in a handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (7/4 +42%)Eroico |
7/4(+42%) | (4) Eroico 7/4, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 5 1/2l, in a maiden here last time; effective from 1m to 12f and acts on soft or good ground; in good form. Much the same standard as several of her rivals, looked one-paced over C&D last Thursday. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (7/2 +22%)Maeve Brennan |
7/2(+22%) | (7) Maeve Brennan 7/2, Made a promising debut when beaten 6l in a maiden over 10f here; effective at 10f with cut and should improve if ridden a bit more positively. Not a bad run over 1m2f at this venue on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (16/1 +11%)Jack's Sister |
16/1(+11%) | (1) Jack's Sister 16/1, French Navy filly; half-sister to Nostringsattached, smart at 12f; dam smart from 12f to 17f. Of some interest on pedigree but likely to find a few of her younger rivals too good. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (3/1 -60%)Edge Of Seventeen |
3/1(-60%) | (3) Edge Of Seventeen 3/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 11l, in an auction race over 9f at Punchestown latest; effective at 10-11f and acts on good or soft ground; in good form. Not at her best last time, better judged on Killarney second, handled soft ground then. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (100/1 -150%)Cahir Bay |
100/1(-150%) | (2) Cahir Bay 100/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a maiden over 10f at Roscommon last time; effective at 9-10f and should get further in time. Roscommon fifth was a step in the right direction, could be a handicap prospect in time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (15/2 -114%)Happiest |
15/2(-114%) | (5) Happiest 15/2, The yard won this last year; probably will not stay, having been beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap at Leopardstown last time; blinkers on for the first time; top course trainer; effective at 1m with cut; looks a rare moderate one for the yard. Modest form, given plenty of time to mature; could be competitive in first-time blinkers. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (300/1 -275%)Mullacurry Maid |
300/1(-275%) | (8) Mullacurry Maid 300/1, Outpaced on debut and well beaten in a maiden over 7f at Naas on her only start; bred to want much further than 7f. Half-sister to stable's eight-time winner Ducky Mallon, no impact on debut over 7f at Naas. |

EDGE OF SEVENTEEN looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get her head in front. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly has shown enough in five previous starts to suggest that she is capable of winning a maiden like this. Placed at both Navan and Killarney prior to finishing fourth at Punchestown last month, the form of that latter race has been well boosted subsequently. The Aidan O'Brien-trained Happiest needs to improve on what she has shown so far but cannot be discounted in first-time blinkers. Bellewstown second Likewhatyousee also has a chance.

A shorter trip was probably to blame for the eclipse of EDGE OF SEVENTEEN at Punchestown. Her Killarney second earns her the vote

1st (14) (9/2 +18%)Sirius |
9/2(+18%) | (14) Sirius 9/2, From a yard with two wins in the last ten renewals of this race. Ran to form but needed the run when beaten 9l in the Irish Cesarewitch over 2m1f here last time. Effective from 12f to 16f, best with cut, and should come on for that reappearance. Shock winner of 2m1f Galway amateur race last year, this trip probably short of optimum. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (11/2 +50%)Smooth Tom |
11/2(+50%) | (5) Smooth Tom 11/2, Won this race last year and ran to form when third, beaten 4l, in a 2m3f Conditions Hurdle at Punchestown on latest start. Effective over 12f and handles soft to good to firm ground. In good order over hurdles and prefers smaller fields. Third in the Irish Lincoln, two hurdle wins this year, below best on the Flat at Listowel. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (40/1 -43%)The Mediator |
40/1(-43%) | (7) The Mediator 40/1, Unsuited by the shorter trip but flew home after missing the break when 3l third in a handicap here last time. Usually held up; effective between 12f and 16f. Fairly treated on jumps form and could improve back up in distance. Won over 2m at Clonmel on penultimate star; faces an unenviable task at these weights. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (8/1 +43%)Lord Erskine |
8/1(+43%) | (1) Lord Erskine 8/1, Never threatened but ran to form when beaten 8l in a 2m handicap at Naas last time. Had been in good form previously; trainer also going well. Reliable dual-code veteran who remains effective at 2m but now well exposed to the handicapper. Splendid veteran, a continuing credit to his trainer, faces a big task at these weights. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (15/2 -88%)Olympic Man |
15/2(-88%) | (9) Olympic Man 15/2, Yard has won two of the last ten renewals of this race. Produced a promising effort when 3 1/4l third in a 1m6f Flat Race (Amateurs) at Listowel last time. Effective at 14f with plenty of cut; more to come on the Flat judged on jumps form. Useful but error-prone chaser, decent run on the Flat at Listowel, more on his plate here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (5/1 +33%)Poetic Sound |
5/1(+33%) | (3) Poetic Sound 5/1, Needed the run when down the field in the Irish Cesarewitch over 2m1f here last time. Effective between 12f and 14f, best with plenty of give. Must bounce back but has the ability to do so. Two wins over 1m4f last season, early-season third behind Kyprios gives him a major chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (7/2 +84%)Layfayette |
7/2(+84%) | (8) Layfayette 7/2, Never threatened after missing the break when beaten 10l in the Ballyroan Stakes (Group 3) at Leopardstown last time. Returns after a short break; effective from 10f to 12f and handles any ground. Not quite at former peak but dangerous down in class. The class act of this race on overall form, retains the ability to win a race of this type. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (12/1 -85%)Taipan |
12/1(-85%) | (6) Taipan 12/1, Outpaced and below form when dropped in trip, well beaten in an 11f handicap at Listowel last time. Best suited by around 14f with some cut in the ground but remains inconsistent. Won over 1m6f at the Galway festival, soundly beaten at Listowel, poor Curragh record. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (12) (200/1 -150%)Hidalgo Des Mottes |
200/1(-150%) | (12) Hidalgo Des Mottes 200/1, Well held up in grade when soundly beaten in a 2m maiden at Thurles last time. A modest maiden in both codes and faces another tough task here. Exposed maiden hurdler, first of two Flat runs was respectable, no appeal in this company. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (2) (9/2 +59%)Mont St Michel |
9/2(+59%) | (2) Mont St Michel 9/2, Ran to form but was well held up in grade, finishing down the field in the Qatar Prix Foy (Group 2) at Longchamp last time. From a top course trainer; effective from 12f to 14f and handles soft and good ground. In fair form overall. Won over 2m1f at Killarney for this rider, out of depth in the Group 2 Prix Foy on latest. |

11th (13) (150/1 -733%)Railway Hurricane |
150/1(-733%) | (13) Railway Hurricane 150/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 14l, in a 2m5f handicap chase at Market Rasen last time. Returning from a long layoff and usually held up. A useful chaser who handles heavy and good ground and is in fair form. Useful four-time jumps winner; has never run on the Flat and lacks a recent outing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (15) (80/1 0%)Chant D'or |
80/1(0%) | (15) Chant D'or 80/1, Outpaced and made only a modest effort when finishing down the field in a 10f maiden here last time. Has speed in the pedigree and may be one for further down the line. Has shown no sign of ability in two outings, out of his depth. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Well suited by the conditions of this race, the Noel Meade-trained LAYFAYETTE can record a 10th career success. Although not the force of old, the eight-year-old has yet to encounter his favoured soft ground this season. Runner-up in a Group 3 race here back in June, the son of French Navy showed that he still retains plenty of enthusiasm for the game. Twice a winner in the UK earlier in the season, Small Fry arguably didn't stay when only ninth in the Irish Cesarewitch. Dropped in class, Mont St Michel has to be given maximum respect for Aidan O'Brien too.

The battle-hardened LAYFAYETTE (nap) is well at these weights, is suited by soft ground, and can record a fifth Curragh win

33/1(+0%) | (22) Max Meridius 33/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a 9f maiden at Gowran Park last time; trainer in good form; acts with cut and as a bumper performer may prove best suited to longer distance handicaps on the Flat. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (15) (10/1 -11%)Zuzukel |

10th (1) (50/1 -213%)Putapoundinthejar |
50/1(-213%) | (1) Putapoundinthejar 50/1, Poorly placed off a modest pace and well beaten in a 2m handicap hurdle at Listowel last time; effective at 2m and acts on yielding or good ground but still looks high enough in the weights over hurdles. Two wins over hurdles, unexposed on the Flat, helps to give Tony Martin a strong hand here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (25/1 -56%)Stormie Outlook |
25/1(-56%) | (7) Stormie Outlook 25/1, Ran to form when beaten 3l off 68 over 8f at Listowel last time; effective from 8-10f, acts on any ground and appears to be running back into form. Bright start for this stable when fifth at Listowel, ran at Leopardstown on Sunday. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
16th (27) (25/1 -79%)Capital Theory |

33/1(-136%) | (19) Tilani 33/1, Won by 1/2l off 61 over 8f at Galway in August; ran to form when flattening out late up in trip to finish seventh beaten 11l off 64 last time; tongue-tie first time; consistent from 7-10f, acts on good ground and suited by cut. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
21st (3) (12/1 -9%)Alfalfa |
12/1(-9%) | (3) Alfalfa 12/1, Improved on recent form when suited by a decent test, winning a 12f handicap here by 1 1/4l off 63 last time; effective over 10-12f and handles ground with some give; back in form. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
24th (17) (40/1 -150%)Lunar Landscape |
40/1(-150%) | (17) Lunar Landscape 40/1, Below form when upped in trip, beaten 7 1/2l in an 11f handicap at Down Royal last time; acts on soft and good ground, had been in decent form earlier this summer and remains well treated on old UK form. Twice runner-up before a below-par run when favourite at Down Royal, could bounce back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
25th (24) (80/1 -60%)Promo Queen |
80/1(-60%) | (24) Promo Queen 80/1, Outclassed and well beaten in a 2m maiden hurdle at Leopardstown last time when returning from a long layoff; effective from 7-10f with cut but in moderate form in both codes. Eighth of 20 in this race last season, struggled in juvenile hurdles subsequently. |

OBSCENITY is a tentative selection here as he bids to open his account. The son of Fastnet Rock was sent off joint favourite on debut, but failed to show much on that occasion and similar comments apply for the rest of his maiden runs. Joseph O'Brien's charge provided some encouragement on his handicap bow and better is expected up in trip. Alfalfa is capable of being in the mix after his victory here over 1m4f at the start of the month, while others to note include Convincing and Chica Guerrera.

An improved display over C&D last month provides encouragement for supporters of ZUZUKEL, Colin Keane's mount for Tony Martin

50/1(-52%) | (18) Mapa 50/1, Continued in poor form up in grade when beaten 9l over 7f here last time. Cheekpieces on first time; effective 1m on sound ground; out of form. Regressive this term and others are preferred; cheekpieces tried. |

6th (2) (12/1 -33%)Goldrush Kid |
12/1(-33%) | (2) Goldrush Kid 12/1, Returned to form when beaten 4l off 68 over 7f here last time. Drawn wide in a big field; suited by cut and effective at 7-8f; back on last winning mark. C&D winner off this mark on soft but improvement needed on last week's run here. |

7th (1) (50/1 -150%)Selective Power |
50/1(-150%) | (1) Selective Power 50/1, Won by 7 1/2l off 59 over 7f at Roscommon three starts ago; did too much too soon when up in trip, not staying 14th beaten 17l off 71 last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (14/1 +0%)Victoria Kesia |
14/1(+0%) | (5) Victoria Kesia 14/1, Unseated in a handicap over 10f here latest. Effective 8-10f, suited by plenty of cut, but yet to match maiden form in handicaps. Maiden win came at 1m; back in distance here and could improve on recent efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (16) (16/1 +11%)Pete's Dream |
16/1(+11%) | (16) Pete's Dream 16/1, Below form but stayed the trip when beaten 7l in a Listowel handicap last time. Suited by 7f with speed in pedigree, probably prefers easy ground; inconsistent. Has form on soft but recent Listowel effort leaves him with a bit to find. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

6/1(+33%) | (9) Rampage 6/1, Returned to form when 5l third in a handicap here last time. Wide draw; effective 8-9f, acts on soft or good; generally consistent. Good recent C&D third in testing conditions under today's rider so not one to rule out. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (4) (17/2 +39%)Smithfield |
17/2(+39%) | (4) Smithfield 17/2, Disappointing on handicap debut when beaten 8l at Listowel last time. Has a wide draw; effective 8-12f on good ground; consistent in maidens before that run and still early in career. Lightly raced 3yo remains a potential improver on second handicap start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
16th (6) (40/1 -43%)Maarisha |
40/1(-43%) | (6) Maarisha 40/1, Forced wide and below form when well beaten in a Bellewstown maiden last time. Drawn wide; acts with cut, effective 8-9f, doesn't quite stay 11f; inconsistent of late. Tame Bellewstown effort on soft; hard to make a case for back in handicap company. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
18th (3) (28/1 -12%)Secret Magician |
28/1(-12%) | (3) Secret Magician 28/1, Made too much use of when down the field in a handicap here most recently. Has a wide draw; effective 7-8f on any ground; generally consistent but on a long losing run. Ideally wants better ground, others hold stronger claims on this ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
19th (19) (50/1 -52%)Lust |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
20th (22) (11/2 +66%)Roderick |
11/2(+66%) | (22) Roderick 11/2, Won by 1 1/4l off 48 at Naas three starts ago; made too much use of when 17th beaten 9 1/2l off 54 last time. Wide draw; effective 8-10f, handles cut; was in good form until latest and remains well treated on old efforts. Recent efforts over further below best but returned to form with fouth at Gowran (Monday). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
21st (11) (12/1 +14%)Showhound |
12/1(+14%) | (11) Showhound 12/1, May have found the ground too testing when down the field over 7f here last time. Significant jockey booking; effective 7f, may not stay further; out of form for new yard. Needs to improve plenty on recent comeback run here; Keane booking takes the eye. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
22nd (10) (66/1 -230%)Peig Sayers |
66/1(-230%) | (10) Peig Sayers 66/1, Below form when up in grade and down the field in a Cork maiden last time. Usually held up; effective at 1m on soft or good; has something to prove in handicaps. Unlikely one to make an immediate impact in handicaps. |

OHMALI is taken to double his tally after a staying-on victory at Gowran last month. Natalia Lupini's gelding has been a relatively consistent performer and with the softer forecasted conditions, he is expected to have more to offer. The eye-catching booking of Colin Keane for Showhound would display some signs of confidence, but he would need to improve on his recent showings to figure here. Warazam and Super Exceed appeal most of the remainder.

OHMALI won a shade snugly at Gowran in testing conditions and the 3yo could have more to offer on this ground
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
