12:40 Doncaster (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

YOU DID won over 3m at Musselburgh on his penultimate start and appears to have every chance to bounce back with first-time cheekpieces being a potential source for improvement. Call Your Bluff seemed to benefit from stepping up in trip at Hereford in December and is another with enough scope to be a key player, while others to note include Jewel Eyed Judy and Fox Cottage.

Having looked progressive prior to a blip at Wetherby last time, YOU DID is taken to bounce back with a win in first-time headgear.

13:15 Doncaster (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

After an impressive debut at Bangor in November, MILOU DU CHENET brushed aside a penalty when following up at Wincanton the following month. Warrwen Greatrex's gelding is too hard to ignore in bidding to maintain his unbeaten status. Mustang Du Breuil won his only start in France and the unexposed four-year-old commands respect in representing powerful connections on his introduction to racing on these shores. The betting market will be informative where he is concerned. Pippin's Legend appears best of the remainder.

Milou Du Chenet is 2-2 and very much respected but MUSTANG DE BREUIL looks a promising recruit for Nicky Henderson and JP McManus.

13:50 Doncaster (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

King Esoteric has a striking pedigree and he is one to keep a close eye on. However, his sole start on the level in France hasn't really worked out and there is a hint of this being 'plan B' for the son of Kingman. There is less guesswork where COUNT OF VENDOME is concerned. A dual bumper winner, the Donald McCain-trained six-year-old was denied by just a neck on his hurdles debut at Bangor and can build on that here. Stanners Glen and Victors Spirit are others for the shortlist.

Point and bumper winner STANNERS GLEN is open to improvement on his second hurdle start and earns the vote ahead of Count Of Vendome

All of these have claims, but none more so than SMOKERINGINTHEDARK. Nicky Richards' gelding was second to a useful rival at Musselburgh last month off this mark and that form gives him a big chance here. I'm A Lumberjack also hit the crossbar on his most recent outing at Newbury and he could prove to be the main threat, ahead of Storming George and Bluegrass.

Topweight STORMING GEORGE was tailed off in a Grade 1 on Boxing Day but looked good here previously and can win on handicap debut.

KALHANDRION has run well in defeat on both starts since winning at Huntingdon in November and this appears to be an ideal opportunity for the six-year-old to return to winning ways. That said, Mumford's Magic displayed plenty of promise when second on his seasonal debut at Uttoxeter in December and is an obvious danger. The rest do not inspire much confidence, but Kadjar Des Mottes is the pick of them.

The Dan Skelton-trained MUMFORD'S MAGIC was a promising second at Uttoxeter following a long absence and can get off the mark.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CUBAN COURT made a winning start to life over fences here in December before not appearing to handle the tight nature of Taunton last time. A repeat of his penultimate effort may well prove to be enough to see him take a step back in the right direction. Empty Nest produced his best effort of the season when second at Newcastle and he is likely to be competitive along with Gentleman Bill.

A course winner over hurdles, GENTLEMAN BILL has shown clear promise over fences and can capitalise upon this slight ease in grade.

16:10 Doncaster (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SCAVENGERS REIGN got off the mark at the fourth time of asking over timber at Wetherby on Boxing Day and James Owen's mare could have more to offer now making her handicap debut. October Hill found Listed company a step too far on her UK debut at Taunton and was much more competitive at the same venue last time. She commands respect, while Lets Go To Vegas appears best of the remainder.

Preference is for SCAVENGERS REIGN (nap), who won a Wetherby maiden on Boxing Day and is a big player off this mark on handicap debut.
