1st (8) (9/4 +32%)Prairie Girl |
9/4(+32%) | (8) Prairie Girl 9/4, Won by 3l off a 15lb lower mark here on her penultimate start. Quickened, hung, and was demoted by stewards when second beaten a nose off 66 last time, 3lb higher here. Wide draw; effective over 5/6f and acts on all-weather; steadily progressing and remains competitive. Badly hampered Buddy Batt and was disqualified latest; could still have more to offer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (10/1 -82%)Woolridge |
10/1(-82%) | (9) Woolridge 10/1, Ran to form when second beaten 1 1/4l in a maiden here last time. Effective over 5-7f and acts on all-weather. Cheekpieces have helped lately and he looks well handicapped on his maiden form. Maiden's two best runs have come over C&D; off a fair mark on handicap debut; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (11/4 +17%)Buddy Batt |
11/4(+17%) | (2) Buddy Batt 11/4, Hampered when closing and awarded the race by stewards when landing a handicap by a nose off a 5lb lower mark here last time. Effective over 5f and acts on all-weather. Thriving of late but more needed up another 3lb. Won back-to-back over C&D of late, promoted to first on latest; 5lb higher but respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (6/1 +57%)Dontspoilasale |
6/1(+57%) | (3) Dontspoilasale 6/1, Scored by 3 1/4l off a 6lb lower mark here in November. Ran to form when sixth beaten 2 1/4l off 78 last time and is 1lb lower here. Effective over 5/6f and acts on all-weather; in fair form and reasonably treated. Beat reopposing stablemate Sporting Hero here (6f) in November; best form is over further. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (16/1 -33%)Inishmot Prince |
16/1(-33%) | (10) Inishmot Prince 16/1, Ran to form when beaten 2l off a 3lb higher mark here last time. Effective over 5/6f with all best form on all-weather. Respected now dropped another 3lb. Good run behind Buddy Batt on latest; now 19lb below last course win and has the rail draw. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (6/1 +57%)Sporting Hero |
6/1(+57%) | (5) Sporting Hero 6/1, Far too free when back up in trip and beaten 3l off a 1lb higher mark here last time. Effective over 5/6f and appears best on all-weather. Capable off this mark but unreliable. Seven-time AW winner at 5f-6f; fairly treated but raced far too keenly on latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (16/1 -146%)Lunigiana |
16/1(-146%) | (7) Lunigiana 16/1, Ran to form when winning a maiden here by 1/2l last time. Has a wide draw and comes off a short break. Effective over 5/6f and acts on all-weather. Latest form had knocks but could be well treated for her handicap debut now she's won. Beat Woolridge in C&D maiden but is 13lb worse off with that rival in a handicap here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (50/1 -52%)Jered Maddox |
50/1(-52%) | (4) Jered Maddox 50/1, Never competitive after missing the break when beaten 9 1/4l in a handicap here last time. Usually held up and much better on all-weather, but plenty to prove at present. Nine-time course winner is now 7lb below last winning mark so dangerous to discount. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (11/1 -83%)Mehman |
11/1(-83%) | (1) Mehman 11/1, Forced wide and made his move too soon up in trip when beaten 6l in a handicap here last time. Effective over 6/7f and acts on all-weather. Still 3lb above his last winning mark and in moderate form. Three-time C&D winner; not much in two runs for this yard; this trip more suitable. |

PRAIRIE GIRL may be able to gain her revenge having lost a race in the stewards' room to Buddy Batt here last month. The Danny Murphy-trained filly ran around a bit in front in windy conditions and, to be fair, it looked an obvious decision to reverse the placings after she hampered her rival and only scored by a head at the line. She is a couple of pounds better off and is a progressive filly. Woolridge has a nice turnaround at the weights with Lunigiana for a half-length defeat in a maiden here back in November and is another to consider now trying handicap company.

WOOLRIDGE is 13lb better off with Lunigiana on their November C&D maiden clash and improvement is expected on his handicap debut

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (13/2 +7%)Nakasero |
13/2(+7%) | (2) Nakasero 13/2, Below form when upped in class off a revised mark, beaten 5 1/4l in a handicap here last time. Effective from 8f to 10f and acts on the all-weather. Current mark looks stiff. Three-time winner at 1m-1m1f; narrowly beaten here (10.5f) last month; slow start latest. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (5/1 +23%)Trishuli River |

Effective from 8f to 12f and better on the all-weather, though mark likely high enough now. Overcame slow start to win going away over C&D last month; 5lb higher; shortlisted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (10/1 +0%)Pavilion End |
10/1(+0%) | (3) Pavilion End 10/1, Ran to form back on the flat and suited by a positive ride when beaten a length off a 1lb lower mark here last time. Effective from 12f to 16f, suited by the all-weather. Course and distance winner, though mark still high enough despite latest run being boosted. C&D maiden winner last year; back on track with big C&D run in October; could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (11/2 -22%)Porsche Lad |
11/2(-22%) | (12) Porsche Lad 11/2, Scored by a neck off a 4lb lower mark here three starts back. Ran to form up in trip when fourth, beaten 2l off 63 last time and runs off the same mark. 9/1(-29%) | (8) Benavente 9/1, Well treated back in a handicap and ran to form when landing a race by 1 1/4l off a 5lb lower mark here last time. Effective from 8f to 12f and best on the all-weather. Remains competitive seeking a hat-trick, up 5lb. Won C&D claimer last month; backed that up with fine win under this rider a week later. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (14/1 -100%)Sinbad My Dad |
14/1(-100%) | (10) Sinbad My Dad 14/1, Ran to form when beaten 1/2l off this mark here last time. Effective from 8f to 11f and acts on the all-weather. Strong chance based on latest course effort which has been boosted. Closely matched with Nakasero on most recent effort when looking like this trip would suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (9) (100/1 -400%)Riyami |
100/1(-400%) | (9) Riyami 100/1, Below form despite strong support, possibly not staying when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Punchestown last time. Returns from a long absence and has a bit to find. Doesn't look stable first string. Not seen since October 2024 when tailed off over hurdles at Punchestown; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (1) (17/2 +15%)Old Peculier |
17/2(+15%) | (1) Old Peculier 17/2, Flattened out after refusing to settle but still ran to form when beaten 3 1/2l off a 2lb higher mark here last time. Effective from 8f to 12f and acts well on the all-weather. In fair form since returning from a long layoff. Won this race in 2024, landing hat-trick that winter; fair effort on 2nd run after absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (11) (50/1 -25%)Edge Of Darkness |
50/1(-25%) | (11) Edge Of Darkness 50/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Cork latest. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m and acts on good ground. Multiple 12f winner in UK but has been inconsistent in both codes recently. Shown nothing for this yard, pulled up over hurdles at Cork last month; safe to rule out. |

Dropping back in trip should help VOICE OF REASON and he's fancied to strike. The Churchill gelding didn't seem to quite see out the two miles here three weeks ago, having won over this distance on his previous two visits. He still ran well last time when third to Boxing Great and remains on the same mark. Benavente comes here on a hat-trick. He stayed on well to win over the extended 10 furlongs last time and going back up in trip may help. Pavilion End ran well at a big price on his return to the level here in late October and is another to consider.

CINNAMON COCO is fancied to leave his poor run at Cheltenham behind him and the 4yo can back up his recent C&D maiden win

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(6) (300/1 -100%)Incredible Army |
300/1(-100%) | (6) Incredible Army 300/1, Didn't seem to stay when finishing down the field in a 2yo race here most recent. Sire was a sprinter and dam a winner up to 13f. Has looked limited so far. Modest effort in a barrier trial and beaten combined 42l in two course maidens. |

GOLDINTHESEA ran a nice race to finish third on his debut here last month and can progress to open his account. The No Nay Never colt was placed behind Golden Trigger in a solid-looking maiden over 7f and stepping up slightly in trip may help. Flanker Jet looked to bump into a useful newcomer in Velarose here in late November. That was a decent effort on his return from a break and he's entitled to be a big player again. Well-bred newcomer Mount Eden is one to note in the market.

The 81-rated Flanker Jet sets a good standard but GOLDINTHESEA (nap) looks best equipped to come home in front

ASTRONOMICALLY can make it third-time lucky after a couple of solid efforts. The No Nay Never filly was a promising fourth on her debut here in late October before going down by half a length to Prevalence nine days later. That form has been boosted with the third winning since. Glitter And Glory has been placed on her last two visits and sets the standard with her rating of 74. Arrietty was runner-up on a visit to Wolverhampton in October and is another for the shortlist. There are some interesting newcomers to note, including the Amo Racing filly Blanc De Blanc and Juddmonte's Eclat.

Joseph O'Brien holds strong claims with ARRIETTY, an expensive purchase who won't need to improve much on her Wolverhampton run to win

10/1(-82%) | (1) Boyne Valley 10/1, Ran to form when beaten 1/2l off this mark here last time. Effective up to 11f, suited by cut, acts on all-weather, and needs to build on her latest revival. Only one win from 21 starts, relatively unexposed on this surface, fine effort last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (11/1 -22%)Imperial Fighter |
11/1(-22%) | (2) Imperial Fighter 11/1, Returned to form when beaten 4l in a handicap here last time. Effective from 7f to 9f and goes well on all-weather; well treated on UK form but needs to progress from that run. Stayed on well to dead-heat for fifth over 7f here last month, may be competitive now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(6) (14/1 +30%)Marbush |
14/1(+30%) | (6) Marbush 14/1, Below form when beaten 5l in a handicap here last time. Effective at 7f and 8f and acts on all-weather; mark is falling but current form remains poor. AW winner in Britain, yet to hit form for this yard, best run on penultimate start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(13) (16/1 +20%)Kitty Bear |
16/1(+20%) | (13) Kitty Bear 16/1, Made too much use of when down the field in a handicap here most recently. Effective from 7f to 9f; the handicapper has eased her mark but she still needs more on all-weather. Down the field at this venue on her last four starts, 15-race maiden is up against it. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(4) (18/1 +10%)Morning Approach |
18/1(+10%) | (4) Morning Approach 18/1, Outpaced and never threatened when beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap here last time. Effective between 7f and 1m on a sound surface; on a reasonable mark but unreliable veteran. Just denied over C&D last July, nothing like the same standard of form since then. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(5) (22/1 -57%)Battle Borne |
22/1(-57%) | (5) Battle Borne 22/1, Had too much to do after missing the break and meeting trouble when beaten 3l in a claimer here last time. Effective from 7f to 9f, acts on good ground, and needs to build on latest back in a handicap. Never in the first three when trained by Gavin Cromwell, needs to find extra. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(12) (22/1 +0%)Carrickfinn |
22/1(+0%) | (12) Carrickfinn 22/1, Had every chance but below form when down the field in a handicap here last time. Back from a short break, effective at 7f and 8f, suited by all-weather, but remains a frustrating maiden. Maiden after 18 starts, close fourth over C&D in July three starts back, in rear latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(11) (25/1 +24%)Gold Dublooms |
25/1(+24%) | (11) Gold Dublooms 25/1, Needed the run when down the field in a handicap at Clonmel most recently after a break. Effective between 8f and 10f and acts on all-weather; form has been only moderate. Third on his handicap debut at Gowran was quite promising, two lesser efforts since then. |

BEAT THE DEVIL has run well on his last few visits and may be able to make the breakthrough. He stayed on well when third to the in-form Lahore Da King here before Christmas and going back up to a mile may suit better. Long-time maiden Man Is King could, in contrast, benefit from dropping back in trip after a solid run to finish third over the extended 1m2f here. Boyne Valley ran well when a place ahead of Man Is King and is another to consider.

Not many of these have shown consistent form, so it could pay to side with BEAT THE DEVIL who has gone close on his last three visits

7/2(-100%) | (8) Georg Zhukov 7/2, Ran to form when beaten 1 1/4l off this mark here last time; effective over 8-10f and running into form so could shed maiden tag. 0-18 record for Noel Meade is off-putting, makes stable debut after a pleasing C&D display. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

4/1(+27%) | (11) Hale Bopp 4/1, Ran to form when beaten 3l off a 2lb higher mark here last time; effective at 8f and could build on recent revival off a 2lb lower mark. Beaten a short head by Hell Left Loose on penultimate run, had that rival behind last time. |

(12) (9/2 +55%)Endless Dawn |
9/2(+55%) | (12) Endless Dawn 9/2, Flattened out when up in trip and beaten 6 1/4l in a handicap here last time; in good form prior; visor on for the first time; from a top course trainer; effective at 7-8f and suited by this surface; exposed maiden. 18-race maiden, tends to produce her best form at this track, uneven form lately. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(4) (10/1 +60%)Methgal |
10/1(+60%) | (4) Methgal 10/1, Disappointing in first-time blinkers when down the field in a handicap at Gowran Park most recently; off a short break; effective at 1m; yet to match UK form though the handicapper has eased him. Towards the back over 7f on his only AW start, turf form offers only slight encouragement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (14/1 +0%)Si Senior |
14/1(+0%) | (2) Si Senior 14/1, Below form back down in trip and needed the run when beaten 9l in a handicap here last time; effective over 10-12f but out of form. Not at her best since a 1m2f turf win last June, down the field over 7f here last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(5) (14/1 +0%)Smaoineamh Sile |
14/1(+0%) | (5) Smaoineamh Sile 14/1, Never threatened after missing the break when well beaten in a handicap at Newcastle latest; enjoys making the running; effective over 8-10f; inconsistent and needs to bounce back. Went close over C&D three starts back, two subsequent efforts raise doubts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(6) (14/1 +0%)Storm Eric |
14/1(+0%) | (6) Storm Eric 14/1, Won this race last year but was poorly placed in a race dominated from the front after missing the break when beaten 9 1/4l in a handicap here last time; blinkers on for the first time; usually held up; out of form and difficult to fancy. Good form last winter, completely out of sorts in the second half of 2025, blinkered now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(10) (22/1 -57%)Hell Left Loose |
22/1(-57%) | (10) Hell Left Loose 22/1, Scored by 7l off a 9lb lower mark at Gowran Park in October; below form when 13th beaten 10l off 50 last time, 1lb lower here; effective over 6-8f and acts on this surface; inconsistent type. Twice down the field since a long-priced C&D victory over Hale Bopp, up against it. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(3) (25/1 -79%)Rock Etoile |
25/1(-79%) | (3) Rock Etoile 25/1, Outpaced and unsuited by the drop in trip when down the field in a handicap here most recently; effective at 8f; inconsistent performer. Enjoyed a profitable 2024 campaign when a three-time C&D winner, uneven form last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(1) (50/1 -257%)Bella Colombia |
50/1(-257%) | (1) Bella Colombia 50/1, Never travelled after missing the break when beaten 8l in a handicap here last time; effective at 1m and may prefer some give; still has a bit to prove. 6f course winner, slowly away and never in contention over 7f here after a spell hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(14) (50/1 -100%)Jazz Dreamers |
50/1(-100%) | (14) Jazz Dreamers 50/1, Stopped quickly when down the field in a handicap here most recently; off a short break; effective at 7-8f on this surface; out of form since a layoff. Sole win since 2021 came on turf in 2023, 0-8 on AW not one of the more obvious contenders. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(7) (50/1 -25%)Brosna Green |
50/1(-25%) | (7) Brosna Green 50/1, Never competitive after blowing the start when beaten 8l in a handicap here last time; usually held up; effective over 7f but yet to prove stamina for 1m; all best form on this surface; out of form. Has looked regressive in six starts at this venue for this yard, hard to make a case. |

GEORG ZHUKOV has been knocking on the door and may be able to make a winning start for new connections. The Smooth Daddy gelding ran well when runner-up over C&D and remains on the same mark. Hale Bopp was narrowly denied off this rating here in late November and ran a solid race when fourth off a couple of pounds higher last time. He looks an obvious contender. Three-time C&D winner Rock Etoile is another to consider.

A change of scene may do the trick for GEORG ZHUKOV whose final run for Noel Meade suggests he can make an overdue breakthrough

(8) (3/1 +45%)Clonmacash |
3/1(+45%) | (8) Clonmacash 3/1, Ran to form when beaten 3l off a 1lb higher mark here last time. Trained by a top course trainer; effective 5-7f on all-weather and generally in good form. Has useful course form, below his best twice before signs of a return to form last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

(6) (7/2 +56%)Oiche Rua |
7/2(+56%) | (6) Oiche Rua 7/2, Landed a handicap by a neck off a 5lb lower mark here on her penultimate start but never threatened after missing the break in a Rated Race last time. 7/1(+13%) | (4) Venetian 7/1, Scored by 2 1/2l off a 12lb lower mark here in October. Below form up in class back in a handicap when seventh beaten 7 1/4l off 75 last time, now 1lb lower. (2) (8/1 +71%)Musical Act |

Effective at 8/9f and acts on all-weather; ex-Godolphin Listed performer in the US, on a fair mark if bouncing back but struggling for his new yard. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(10) (14/1 -100%)Amemri |
14/1(-100%) | (10) Amemri 14/1, Below form beaten 6l in a handicap here last time. Acts on all-weather and was progressive at 6-8f in summer; enjoyed a productive spring but has been out of form since, though the handicapper is easing off. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(11) (28/1 -155%)Never Shout Never |
28/1(-155%) | (11) Never Shout Never 28/1, Made too much use of when beaten 7l in a handicap here last time. Effective 6/7f on all-weather; needs more to feature. Hard to win with, both successes over 5f but ran poorly over that trip here five weeks ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(3) (50/1 -488%)Heart Of Eternity |
50/1(-488%) | (3) Heart Of Eternity 50/1, Did not really build on earlier efforts but saw out the trip when fourth beaten 3l in a maiden at Yarmouth last time. Effective 7-8f, acts on all-weather; consistent for a top UK yard and opening mark looks fair for stable debut. Made the frame on all three outings for Charlie Appleby, one of three for the stable here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(14) (50/1 -52%)Rough Diamond |
50/1(-52%) | (14) Rough Diamond 50/1, Below form when beaten 7 1/4l in a handicap at Leicester last time after a short break. Suited by 6f and acts on all-weather; plenty to prove. C&D winner, his best days seem to be behind him judged on form in Britain. |

(13) (150/1 -127%)Gobi Star |
150/1(-127%) | (13) Gobi Star 150/1, Below form back up in trip when down the field in a handicap here most recent. Effective 6-7f on all-weather; currently out of form. Dual C&D winner, has deteriorated, huge price when last of 14 over C&D last month. |

CLONMACASH ran well for fourth here three weeks ago when attracting market support. The Charming Thought gelding stayed on behind Nikki Swango in a competitive contest and a similar run may be enough to collect now. Denis Hogan saddles three and the ex-Ballydoyle horse Alfred Tennyson is interesting on his first start for the yard. He won a Limerick maiden back in June and remains relatively unexposed. Heart Of Eternity is another addition for Hogan, having been bought from Godolphin. She showed promise in three starts for Charlie Appleby last summer.

A slow starter here last time, C&D winner OICHE RUA could be hard to beat if avoiding a recurrence.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(12) (11/2 +50%)Yutori |
11/2(+50%) | (12) Yutori 11/2, Below form when dropped in trip, beaten 7 1/2l in a handicap here last time; cheekpieces on for the first time; effective over 8f on all-weather but needs to find more. Down the field over 7f here on handicap debut, may improve with cheekpieces fitted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(8) (6/1 -140%)Killyclogher Rose |

Best efforts have been at this venue but needs to find extra, poor over hurdles on latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(1) (20/1 -300%)Stay In The Game |
20/1(-300%) | (1) Stay In The Game 20/1, Fell in a maiden hurdle at Thurles last time; effective from 8f to 10f on the Flat and handles any ground; chance on best UK form. Has failed to complete his last two starts over hurdles, placed form on Flat in Britain. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(2) (150/1 -50%)Anchors Away |
150/1(-50%) | (2) Anchors Away 150/1, Outpaced and probably needed the run when finishing down the field in an auction race at Leopardstown last time; yet to show any worthwhile ability. No sign of worthwhile form in three outings on turf, can be left out of calculations. |

500/1(-100%) | (4) Nelliestar 500/1, Has shown no worthwhile form and has yet to find suitable conditions; impossible to fancy. Has struggled in four races on turf and in two outings over shorter trips at this venue. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
(9) (500/1 -100%)Lady Crossing |
500/1(-100%) | (9) Lady Crossing 500/1, Has shown no worthwhile form and has yet to find suitable conditions; looks more of a low-grade handicap type. Poor form in turf maidens, failed to show any improvement over 7f on Dundalk debut. |

DIAMOND EXCHANGE should be up to winning an all-weather maiden at this time of year. The Wootton Bassett filly had some strong turf maiden form last year, the best of which was when chasing home Butterfly Wings at Leopardstown in May. She was a solid third behind In My Teens when last seen at Down Royal in June and, despite her absence, looks the one to beat. Killyclogher Rose ran well at a big price when third to Square Necker here last month. She is an obvious danger and appears to hold Palmezzano, who finished fourth then.

If adapting satisfactorily to this surface after a good break, DIAMOND EXCHANGE has solid claims based on last season's turf form
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
