12:21 Exeter (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Maestro Du Mesnil and Tenter Le Tout are entitled to be wiser after both made encouraging starts to their careers. However, they don't set the bar very high and a chance is taken that APOLLON FORLONGE, a 75,000-euro purchase whose well-related dam was a winner over fences in France, could have been found a decent opening at the first time of asking.

Chester Williams' TENTER LE TOUT made a promising debut in a big field at Stratford last month and gets the vote.

12:51 Exeter (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The winner of an Irish point-to-point before filling the runner-up berth in a bumper at Tipperary for her previous yard, KATIE'S MELODY continued on an upward trajectory when she made all in a mares' NH Flat race at Ffos Las a fortnight ago. That should have put her spot-on for this introduction to hurdles and Harry Derham's representative is the most intriguing option. Easy Love and Betty's Tiara are respected as previous winners in this discipline, but may struggle to concede 7lb to the selection.

Anthony Honeyball's EASY LOVE should find this easier than the race she contested at Cheltenham last time.

13:26 Exeter (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Blenkinsop and Madaket are still learning over fences and are dangerous to rule out. However, this represents a drop down in class for NOT SO WOOLLY, who was last seen finishing fifth in the EBF Final at Sandown in March. Bred to be effective in this discipline, this could be a good starting point over the larger obstacles for the Joe Tizzard-trained six-year-old.

It was an eyecatching run that BLENKINSOP (nap) delivered on his chase debut, and especially as that was at Cheltenham.

14:01 Exeter (Class 3) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

AMBION VIEW can kick on after an encouraging second over an extended 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month. A 3lb rise looks manageable and this previous course winner could have a big say with the drop in trip in his favour. The competitively-weighted Turn And Finish also rates a key player on the back of filling the runner-up slot at Plumpton. Similar comments apply to Valadon, who resumes off just 4lb higher than his Fontwell success in April.

Having had the benefit of a run that was encouraging and with his yard flying high right now, AMBION VIEW looks the best bet.

14:36 Exeter (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOOD FRIDAY FAIRY, who has gone well here in the past, was denied a hat-trick when last seen. However, that came after a busy spell and he looks worth chancing resuming off just 3lb higher. The French import Raffles Hermes is something of an unknown quantity but his form in his homeland is encouraging enough to suggest he could have a say. King Califet and Valirann Gold complete the shortlist.

Precocious as a 3yo chaser in France last summer, CLOTILDA could be good value for the 9lb weight-for-age allowance she gets here.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TASHAN looked in need of the run when he faded to finish fourth on his seasonal bow at Chepstow last month. With his match-fitness topped up, this lightly-raced potential improver, who had won two of his three previous starts, could go well on his handicap debut. Le Soleil Reve is another progressive option to consider, while Hudson's Irish form over hurdles suggests he could be placed to good effect now he's under the tutelage of Mickey Bowen.

It's now looking a strong race in which TASHAN ran fourth on his reappearance at Chepstow and he can give weight all round.

15:46 Exeter (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HARRY JUNIOR was a ready winner at Lingfield 12 days ago and keeping him ticking over with a quick reappearance could be rewarding. With first-time cheekpieces supplementing a tongue-tie, the low-mileage five-year-old could brush aside a 6lb rise. Dropping in trip shouldn't cause much of an issue but the likes of Ask Her Out and Square Du Roule could be best placed to capitalise if any cracks appear.

This drop in trip looks the right move for CHEDINGTON'S GUEST, who looked stretched by 3m1f on last month's handicap debut.
