13:25 Fontwell (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CATCH ON ME filled second place in a similar event over an extended 2m4f at Plumpton when last seen in January and the six-year-old appears to be the one to beat based on that evidence. Karate Kid showed plenty of ability in bumpers and should not be underestimated on his hurdling bow, while any market support for point-to-point winner Handmedownastar would have to be noted.

Cayman Dancer needs to settle better and CATCH ON ME clearly sets the standard on either of his last two placed efforts.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With all of these having questions to answer, a chance can be taken on OUR PAPA SMURF. The five-year-old failed to fire at Plumpton last time, but is a leading contender based on his previous victory at the same venue in January. Dragons And Demons may improve now switched to handicap company, while A Mere Bagatelle and Calshot Spit are others to consider.

The Moore yard is responsible for three of the seven runners, with prolific winner AGGAGIO the pick. Godot can do better.

RIP WHEELER has won three of his last five starts and a 3lb rise for the latest of those victories at Leicester last month may not be enough to stop him from following up. Good Friday Fairy did not appear to stay an extended 2m7f at Newbury, but is a danger back at this trip. Hold Up La Colmine edges out Mon Champion to be the pick of the remainder.

The progressive RIP WHEELER is fancied to defy a 3lb rise for his recent Leicester win. Good Friday Fairy rates the main danger.

15:10 Fontwell (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The combination of a 7lb penalty and quicker ground conditions may have contributed to JUNIOR DES MOTTES' failed hat-trick bid at Catterick and this looks a suitable opportunity for the seven-year-old to get back on the scoresheet. Betgoodwin displayed some ability when filling the runner-up spot over C&D, although he was beaten 31 lengths. Chris Gordon's charge is still feared most, with Amalfi Skyline the pick of the remainder.

Good ground seemed the issue for JUNIOR DES MOTTES last time and he's been found the ideal opening back on soft.

Jolie Baie wasn't disgraced on her latest fifth at Huntingdon and a subsequent wind procedure combined with a 2lb drop in the ratings could see her fight out the finish. However, INNISFREE LASS' triumph at Southwell signalled a return to form and she appeals more with Murray Dodd's claim negating a 5lb rise. Sweet Magic can also make her presence felt.

This is a real opportunity for the luckless SWEET MAGIC to get off the mark. She has most to fear from Innisfree Lass.

Having won two of his three starts since undergoing wind surgery, FALCO DES PINS seems progressive and could be well placed to deal with a 6lb rise imposed after a cosy triumph at Leicester. He's got experience of this trip and, with Ned Fox claiming 3lb, everything is in place for another bold showing. Sanitiser went up 4lb for his Kempton success and needs a personal best to follow up so Raffles Hermes is suggested as a bigger danger after going close at Wincanton.

Progressive since switched to fences, FALCO DES PINS (nap) is fancied to complete the hat-trick at the expense of Raffles Hermes.

16:55 Fontwell (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NIMBA, who won the second of two starts between the flags, looked a decent prospect when he readily justified favouritism in a bumper at Catterick on his debut for Mickey Bowen and a 7lb penalty looks manageable. Fellow point-to-point winner Rine Yeats is the most intriguing of the newcomers to this discipline, although The Perfect Poet is bred along the right lines and is another to monitor closely in the betting.

Nimba is having to concede a chunk of weight to MS DES FOIS, who gets the age and sex allowances off the back of a solid debut.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
