||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

17/2(-89%) | (5) Jetaway Holiday 17/2, Outpaced, modest debut comfortably held in a bumper at Warwick last time; point winner has joined top yard, longer trip should suit on hurdle debut. Point winner; made low-key rules debut in a bumper last month but is open to improvement. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

50/1(-25%) | (3) Graeme The Grey 50/1, Keen, green, mistakes, showed minor promise on debut when fourth beaten 29l in a maiden hurdle here latest; effective 2m; improvement possible now stepped up in trip. Showed some promise in bumpers but was well held when fourth here on hurdling debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Showed promise in Irish points last season but safely held in two maiden hurdles this year. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (13) (80/1 -21%)Mega Etoile |
80/1(-21%) | (13) Mega Etoile 80/1, Outpaced, failed to build on debut down the field in a maiden bumper at Hereford most recent; effective at 2m on heavy; improvement needed now hurdling. First bumper run was okay but the second was a backward step; hurdle debut today. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (250/1 -67%)Snowski |
250/1(-67%) | (8) Snowski 250/1, Pulled up in a novice hurdle at Plumpton latest where too green to show anything; cheekpieces first time; all to prove. Struggled when a big-priced outsider for 2m4f Plumpton maiden last month. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (9) (50/1 -317%)Style De Folie |
50/1(-317%) | (9) Style De Folie 50/1, Green, modest debut well beaten in a bumper here only start; second run after wind op; returning from a break; more needed to figure now hurdling. With a good stable but managed only fifth of six in a bumper here on debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (33/1 +34%)Maximum Benefit |
33/1(+34%) | (7) Maximum Benefit 33/1, Still green, mistakes, improved a little for debut experience comfortably held in a maiden hurdle here last time; effective 2m; plenty more needed. Not disgraced in two slow-ground hurdles this year but low-grade handicaps beckon. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (28/1 -100%)Cockney Cleopatra |
28/1(-100%) | (11) Cockney Cleopatra 28/1, Outpaced, short of room, improved but looked in need of stiffer test beaten 6l in an auction hurdle at Clonmel last time; acts on soft; may need this bit further than 2m to show best for new yard. Ran well on final start in Ireland but needs to improve again on this stable debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point-to-point winner Jetaway Holiday was well beaten into fifth in a bumper at Warwick, but he has to remain of interest now switched to this sphere for the in-form Nicky Henderson team. However, HARDLY SURPRISING made the frame at Doncaster on his most recent outing and sets the standard with a rating of 117. Harry Fry's charge looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark. Cluain Chormaic is another to note.

Preference is for CLUAIN CHORMAIC, who has been placed in big fields on his last two appearances.

9/1(-227%) | (9) Lyle View 9/1, Yard won this last year; well backed, improved relishing step up in trip landing a handicap by 4 1/2l off a 9lb lower mark at Southwell last time; off a long absence; effective 2 1/2m, acts on good to soft; more to come, big player if fit. Won in good style when last in action but that was in February 2025; market instructive. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (11/4 +73%)Duffry Trixs |
11/4(+73%) | (2) Duffry Trixs 11/4, Travelled but didn't find as much as looked likely, may not have stayed in strongly run race comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Newbury last time; effective 2m4f-2m7f, acts on soft and good to soft; still early days and drop in trip a plus but mark demands more. Battled well for maiden win last season; yet to match that form in handicaps this term. |

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (5/1 +38%)The Secret Pearl |
5/1(+38%) | (5) The Secret Pearl 5/1, Mistakes, unsuited by more reserved ride comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Aintree last time; returning from a break; effective 2-2 1/2m, acts on good; consistent. Off since below-par run on Boxing Day but her autumn form gives her good claims. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (9/2 +55%)Northanger Abbey |
9/2(+55%) | (7) Northanger Abbey 9/2, Outpaced, ran to form but unsuited by drop in trip beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap hurdle at Warwick last time; effective 2m, acts with cut; still early days for good yard and could improve for further in handicaps judged on point form. Made quite promising handicap debut over 2m last month; moves back up in trip here. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (9/2 +47%)Galactic Charm |
9/2(+47%) | (1) Galactic Charm 9/2, Poorly placed ridden to see out the trip, ran to form when fourth beaten 11l in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton latest; blinkers first time; usually held up; effective 2m, acts on soft and good; fair mark on best novice form, needs to build on latest. Looked unenthusiastic when never-dangerous fourth last time; headgear switched here. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (14/1 +44%)Tigga Time |
14/1(+44%) | (6) Tigga Time 14/1, Made too much use of down the field in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster most recent; in good form prior; effective 2 1/2m, acts on soft, good; mark high enough. Disappointed on only appearance this year but this mark is workable if he's back on song. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (3) (16/1 +20%)Mammies Boy |
16/1(+20%) | (3) Mammies Boy 16/1, Outpaced, looked awkward well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Taunton latest; blinkers first time; effective 2m2f-2m5f, acts on a sound surface; stiff mark. Well beaten on both starts for new stable this year; blinkers given a whirl today. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It's hard to ignore the claims of LYLE VIEW, who recorded her first career success in ready fashion over an extended 2m4f at Southwell in February of last year. Despite the long absence, Neil Mulholland's mare can defy her 9lb rise to complete a double. Bridge justified favouritism by seven lengths at this venue recently and is bound to go well, despite a 6lb higher mark. Galactic Charm looks best of the rest.

Perhaps this move back up in trip will prompt the necessary improvement from unexposed 6yo NORTHANGER ABBEY.

5/2(-43%) | (4) Rip Wheeler 5/2, Scored by a length off a 2lb lower mark at Leicester three starts back; too much to do ridden to see out the trip fourth beaten 5l off 108 last time, 1lb lower here; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on soft and good; generally consistent. Quirky customer who has won three times under well-timed Robert Dunne rides this season. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (9/2 +10%)Hawaii Du Mestivel |
9/2(+10%) | (5) Hawaii Du Mestivel 9/2, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter latest where found ground too soft; second run after wind op; effective 2 1/2m, acts on good; yet to take to chasing but fair mark on hurdle form. Progressive over hurdles in 2024; missed 2025; pulled up in two chases this year. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (6/4 +25%)Duhallow Tommy |
6/4(+25%) | (2) Duhallow Tommy 6/4, Scored by 8l off a 7lb lower mark at Southwell penultimate start; ran to form third beaten 12l off 113 last time, 1lb lower here; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on good to soft and good; needs more off new mark but might be up to it. Four chase wins, the latest off reduced mark in February; a possible if able to dominate. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (3/1 +54%)Maclaine |
3/1(+54%) | (1) Maclaine 3/1, Probably needed race, travelled well for a long way, improve comfortably held in a handicap chase at Exeter last time; absent for very lengthy period; very well treated on old form, needs to prove ability remains Absent since below-par run in October 2024 and entitled to benefit from this outing. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Duhallow Tommy was unable to supplement his Southwell success when only third at Wincanton, but he is likely to be on the premises. However, the vote goes to RIP WHEELER, who was outpaced before keeping on here last time and the extra distance might just bring about some improvement. Connections of Hawaii Du Mestivel will be hoping first-time cheekpieces can see him in a better light.

Back in form with a front-running win two starts ago, DUHALLOW TOMMY (nap) may not face much competition for the lead.

1st (2) (4/5 +27%)Ferret Jeeter |
4/5(+27%) | (2) Ferret Jeeter 4/5, Did it easily, improved on chase debut landing a handicap by 5l off a 3lb lower mark at Plumpton last time; blinkers first time; effective 3m, acts on heavy and good; progressive and thrown in on recent chase form. Three hurdles wins this season; back in this sphere after winning chase debut last month. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (9/1 +55%)Godot |
9/1(+55%) | (4) Godot 9/1, Mistakes, race may have come a bit soon, did plenty early comfortably held in a handicap hurdle here last time; effective 2 1/2m, suited by plenty of cut, acts on good; form in and out this term. Didn't run badly here recently but this season has largely been disappointing. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (11/4 +68%)Confinentic |
11/4(+68%) | (1) Confinentic 11/4, Made too much use of, may not have stayed 59l third in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton most recent run; effective 2m-2m4f, acts on soft, good to soft; almost certainly capable of better but mark demands it and stamina not assured. Yet to hit top gear this season but his Ascot run two starts ago makes him of interest. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (5) (9/2 +50%)Vendant |
9/2(+50%) | (5) Vendant 9/2, Ran to form back from lay off, big effort having been taken on up front when second beaten 10l in a handicap hurdle here latest; effective 2m3f-3m1f with cut; should come on for latest. 0-8 over hurdles but came second here (2m5f) recently, after a layoff. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FERRET JEETER appeared to have plenty in hand when scoring on his chasing debut at Plumpton a few weeks ago. That was his fourth win from his last seven starts and a 3lb rise may underestimate the in-form nine-year-old. Staff Sergeant Len was a good third at Newbury last time and that form suggests that he could be the main danger, ahead of Vendant.

Progressive 9yo FERRET JEETER was clear second to a resurgent rival on his latest hurdling start and has since won over fences.

1st (6) (10/1 +44%)Misteroddsocks |
10/1(+44%) | (6) Misteroddsocks 10/1, Too keen in first time cheekpieces 33l third in a handicap chase at Doncaster most recent run; effective 2-2 1/2m; form so far modest, needs more. Has unconvincing record over fences this season; needs recent wind op to make a difference. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (7/2 +56%)Gorcombe Moonshine |
7/2(+56%) | (7) Gorcombe Moonshine 7/2, Jumped left, returned to form under positive ride back from break beaten 2l off a 5lb lower mark at Hereford last time; effective 2m-2m4f on soft and good; poor strike rate but could build on latest. Has modest strike-rate but gave good account last month, after a break. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (2/1 -67%)Rap Soul |
2/1(-67%) | (1) Rap Soul 2/1, Jumped well in the main and improved suited by positive ride landing a handicap by 2l off a 6lb lower mark at Plumpton last time; effective 2 1/2m, acts on soft and good; unbeaten and may have bit more to offer over fences. 2-2 since switched to chasing this year and could easily have more improvement to come. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (9/4 +59%)Valirann Gold |
9/4(+59%) | (5) Valirann Gold 9/4, Back below last winning mark, returned to form down in grade and up in trip landing a handicap by 1 1/4l off a 3lb lower mark here last time; effective 2m-2m5f, suited by some cut; races lazily, frustrating type, not one to rely on backing up latest. Produced remarkable late surge to win here recently but is too inconsistent to rely upon. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (20/1 -100%)Kill The Groove |
20/1(-100%) | (2) Kill The Groove 20/1, Ran to form in first time cheekpieces 15l third in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton most recent run; effective 2m2f-2m6f, acts on good to soft, good; needs to build on latest couple of starts now tackling fences, big player if doing so. Made the frame on all three hurdling starts this year and has possibilities on chase debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (9) (8/1 +60%)Engaging Sam |
8/1(+60%) | (9) Engaging Sam 8/1, Didn't stay well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton latest; visor first time; effective 2m-2m6f, acts on soft and good; exposed maiden. Well beaten in all three hurdle races this season and 4lb wrong for this chasing debut. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (8) (28/1 +44%)Millies Mite |
28/1(+44%) | (8) Millies Mite 28/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase at Huntingdon latest; returning from a break; effective 2 1/2m; just 1lb above last winning mark but out of form since. Ended 2025 in poor form but both her wins were gained over C&D; revival possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Rap Soul has made a great start to his chasing career and has to be respected following back-to-back wins at Plumpton, but marginal preference is for VALIRANN GOLD. The nine-year-old showed a good attitude to score here a couple of weeks ago and a 3lb rise appears fair. Gorcombe Moonshine and Wellwillya have finished second to the same rival in recent weeks and are others to note.

Preference is for WELLWILLYA, who was a creditable second at Exeter last month and is sure to be suited by the return to this track.

1st (8) (8/1 +6%)Tommy Dillion |
8/1(+6%) | (8) Tommy Dillion 8/1, Scored by 3l off a 1lb lower mark at Lingfield three starts back; returned to form back down in trip under positive ride third beaten 10l off 80 last time, 1lb lower here; effective around 2m on soft and good; still on fair mark, unreliable. Ran well over C&D recently but the drying ground is not in his favour today. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (5/4 +64%)Frank Stamper |
5/4(+64%) | (5) Frank Stamper 5/4, Poorly placed at sharp track after early errors well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Wincanton latest; effective 2m; showed promise on flat, yard has done well with similar types but jumping must improve. Beaten favourite last time but has claims if judged on earlier Plumpton second. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (6/1 +0%)Ikigai Star |
6/1(+0%) | (3) Ikigai Star 6/1, Needed run 48l third in a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon most recent run; second run after wind op; effective 2-2 1/2m, suited by sound surface; back below last winning mark, must bounce back. Didn't run badly last month, after a break, and has become well handicapped. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (7/2 +46%)Jacquetta |
7/2(+46%) | (6) Jacquetta 7/2, Yard won this last year; pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Lingfield latest; cheekpieces first time; off a short-break; ; improvement needed on handicap debut. Has lowly mark for this handicap debut and good market support will make him of interest. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (4/1 +43%)Ballylicky Bay |
4/1(+43%) | (4) Ballylicky Bay 4/1, Improved a little comfortably held in a novice hurdle at Warwick last time; effective 2m, acts on good, good to soft; point and bumper winner yet to fire over hurdles, may want further in handicaps but threat if getting stiff test. Improved form when 200-1 fifth at Warwick last month; now makes handicap debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A respectable third over C&D most recently, Tommy Dillion is likely to be in the mix, while Calshot Spit is unpredictable but can go well if close to his best. However, slender preference is for FRANK STAMPER, who possibly found his latest run coming too soon after a previous return to form when second at Plumpton. Off an unchanged mark, a repeat of that level could suffice.

Two-time Flat winner MASTER DUNRAVEN ran well in third at Plumpton two starts ago and is taken to get off the mark in this code.
