16:13 Fontwell (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Janworth has won twice this season over hurdles and can go well again if her stamina holds out over this new trip. The same can be said of Gold Link, who has more proven reserves and ran with credit to finish second on his last two starts over hurdles. He rates a serious player here. However, point-to-point winner WESTERN CLOUDS could be the one best suited to the demands on her stamina and, unexposed over timber, Olly Murphy's mare just shades preference.

Perhaps today's ease in grade will enable PARTY BUSINESS to exploit a career-low mark and end a long losing run.

16:45 Fontwell (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LORD is readily suggested as the first one to consider here. Imported from Germany by Olly Murphy's keen recruitment drive, the three-year-old ran with stacks of promise to finish second to a promising type at Newton Abbot on his hurdles bow. The winner of that race has gone in twice since and the form looks strong for this grade. Genbu was third behind the same rival on his hurdles bow at Uttoxeter and is the obvious danger. Bouboule and Galactique appeal the most from the newcomers.

Olly Murphy's LORD beat all bar Dignam at Newton Abbot and the winner is miles above average for a 3yo hurlder at this time of year.

17:18 Fontwell (Class 4) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although a multiple winner on the point-to-point scene, JET SMART is actually a potential improver over regulation fences. Having won two of his four starts in similar company, the progressive seven-year-old appeals strongly here. Masterdream is also lightly raced over fences and command respect off 5lb higher than for a successful foray at Worcester on his most recent chase start. Solo Flight and Leading Force complete the shortlist.

The most obvious answer is JET SMART, who has been in excellent form in recent months and tries a new trip today.

17:48 Fontwell (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Buxted Reel finished a close third off this mark at Worcester in June and showed he remains in good form when third on the Flat at Doncaster last month, so has to be considered. However, a chance can be taken on PERTEMPS DIAMOND, who has failed to land a blow in his three starts over hurdles. The six-year-old now competes in the handicap ranks for the first time and on just his second outing for the Olly Murphy yard, he could strike. Carlton is another to consider.

The pick is GRASSHOPPER TIME (nap), who has been shaping as though his turn is near and ought to be favoured by the forecast rain.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mokoro occupied the runner-up berth over the smaller obstacles at Stratford last month and is an interesting contender on his first outing over fences. A lot more has been expected of Pescatorius in both of his starts for the Olly Murphy yard and the son of Getaway will be attempting to justify that support on this occasion. However, CELTIC FORTUNE finished second at Huntingdon two starts ago and is 2lb lower compared to that day. As long as the eight-year-old is ready to go, he could be the one to beat.

Course hurdle winner FOOTLOOSE MAN made a low-key chase debut last month but probably needed that run and can fare better here.

CAWTHORNE BANKER bounced back to form with a strong runner-up effort at Uttoxeter last month and a 2lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from gaining a first win since May 2024 over C&D. Not beaten far over further at Sedgefield at March, Chester Tonik must enter calculations, along with Getmetothemoon, who may be able to regain the form that saw her win at Plumpton on her penultimate outing.

Preference is for PAPA BARNS, who was a creditable second on his stable debut two starts ago and can hopefully return to that level.

19:18 Fontwell (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The winning run of OBSESSEDWITHYOU may have come to an end over further at Stratford last month, but she should be well suited by dropping back in trip on this occasion, and a mark of 112 still looks manageable. A determined winner at Newton Abbot on her penultimate start, Claim Du Brizais looks to be her main danger, as well as Hold Onto The Line, making just his second start for the Olly Murphy stable.

Claim Du Brizais looks interesting on her chase debut but HOLD ONTO THE LINE gets the vote on his second start for Olly Murphy.
