The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hill Station was able to build on a couple of promising efforts to score at Stratford last time out and must be respected from 5lb higher, but it is AQUIFOLIA that shades preference. Neil Mulholland's charge has few miles on the clock over timber and was a creditable second over C&D last month. A 3lb rise doesn't look harsh considering there should be more to come, with compensation a real possibility today. Graham looks well handicapped in comparison to his Flat rating and can also enter calculations.

A wide-open handicap with several possible outcomes but preference is for AQUIFOLIA with Jorebel looking the main danger.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Following a frustrating run of seconds, LERMOOS LEGEND was able to break the sequence in emphatic fashion at Market Rasen before going in again over C&D latest. A further 6lb rise in the handicap could underestimate Mickey Bowen's 10-year-old, and he is taken to complete the hat-trick. Somespring Special was in contention when falling two from home at Worcester in June so she is of interest, as is the class dropping Jaramillo.

Preference is for ALIEN STORM who made a winning return from a break this time last year. The danger is Lermoos Legend.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It looks best to side with GALACTIQUE, who shaped with considerable promise when second over track and trip on his hurdles bow last month. The son of Galiway arguably sets the standard for all that Lady Wilhelmina boasts an official rating of 112, who makes her British debut having run three times when trained in France. Racing in the famous double green, Bouboule warrants a market check.

This can go to GALACTIQUE who showed promise when runner-up on his hurdles debut over C&D last time. Bouboule is second choice.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fascinating Lips returns to hurdles for the first time since winning over C&D in September 2022, but he has been busy on the Flat since and won't be lacking race fitness. Tsavo Park travels over from Ireland for his handicap debut and it will be interesting to see if he is supported in the market, but CAWTHORNE BANKER could be the one. Two of his three wins over hurdles have been over C&D, including last month, and an added 8lb may not stop him.

This looks a good opportunity for CAWTHORNE BANKER (nap) to follow up his win over C&D last time. The danger is Fascinating Lips.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Faded Fantasy looks to be the pick of Christian Wiiliams' trio as he returns to fences off 12lb lower than his hurdling mark. Masterdream won here last month and enters calculations, though he can make mistakes and preference is for BALLYNAHEER. He made all to come home an easy 14-length winner here last time and 7lb more may not stop him if similar tactics are employed.

Claims can be made for most but the safest option looks to be MASTERDREAM to continue his winning streak. The big danger is Ivane.
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sun Joy put in a decent run when second here over shorter on his first start since February, and if first-time cheekpieces bring improvement he can go well, but one win for 14 starts over hurdles is a concern. Brilliant Light travels over from Ireland but top-weight may anchor him here, leaving the path clear for GOLD LINK. He kept on strongly to win over C&D last month and the booking of Harry Cobden to ride looks an eye-catching one off 4lb higher.

This should not take much winning and SUN JOY is selected to improve on his second here last time. The main danger can be Gold Link.
Ths is the racecard key.
