13:53 Fontwell (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Just A Memory returned to winning ways in this grade over 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month and will have no issues with this extra yardage, so she has to be considered. However, UNBLINKING finished third over C&D on his most recent start and was dropped 1lb. Robert Bevis' veteran lurks on an appealing rating and looks the way to go. Of Corse I Can is another to note.

There's plenty of rain forecast and that alone entitles JUST A MEMORY (nap) to the vote as most of her rivals probably want good ground.

14:28 Fontwell (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Motazzen completed a hat-trick in this sphere at Southwell in January and has recorded a victory on the Flat since, so he is one to watch out for. Mad Maxios got off the mark at Chepstow in April and is interesting on his handicap bow, but JOREBEL gets the vote. Chris Gordon's charge struck over track and trip, despite his jockey not riding him out to the line, last month and he's worth sticking with for now.

The forecast is a bit of a worry when he's yet to prove himself on soft ground but JOREBEL is ahead of the game being 6lb well in.

15:03 Fontwell (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point-to-point winner FRESH PERSPECTIVE went in on his Rules debut at Uttoxeter in a bumper prior to finding a Listed contest at Ascot too warm. Jamie Snowden's five-year-old now makes his first appearance over timber and he could be the one to beat. Whatyouwaitingfor shed his maiden tag at Newton Abbot in August and it's hard to ignore his claims. Park Talk warrants a market check.

This may go the way of JIMMY HURDSTROM who posted respectable RPRs (in this context) when second in his last two bumpers.

15:38 Fontwell (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Penalised for her emphatic maiden win at Newton Abbot, MANYANA BLUE was no match for the progressive Lord, who has subsequently landed a hat-trick, when runner-up at the same track last time. However, the daughter of Postponed looks worthy of another chance with the talented conditional Luke Scott taking a valuable 3lb off her back. Spuddling finished a promising third here on his hurdling debut and can confirm superiority with the fourth-placed Bouboule.

Marginal preference is for MANYANA BLUE who chased home a good juvenile at Newton Abbot.

Beaten over hurdles last time, HECOULDBETHEONE had shown progressive form over fences prior to that. James Owen's charge landed a brace at Uttoxeter in June and, only 2lb higher than his most recent success, he's taken to pick up the winning thread back over the larger obstacles. A dual winner over timber, Reallyntruthfully could prove competitive on his chasing bow, while Southoftheborder is worth a second look.

The interesting horse is SOUTHOFTHEBORDER who flattered to deceive for Nicky Henderson but showed considerable potential.

Ben Case's charge has solid claims on that form and a bold bid looks assured. Ivane reverts to hurdling with a shout having landed a chase at Sedgefield last month, while Summer In Milan is another to note reverting to the smaller obstacles.
