(3) Welonlyhavedone 1/4, Showed minor promise on debut when well beaten in a bumper over 2m2f here last time; returns from a short break; bumper form has been franked, and as a 3m point winner he should stay further than 2m under rules.

A weak maiden to start proceedings and WELONLYHAVEDONE has been presented with a good chance to make a successful start over hurdles. A wide-margin point-to-point winner in March, the Diamond Boy gelding didn't match market expectations when midfield in a bumper at the Festival here. However, he wasn't beaten all that far and the form has worked out well. Getaways Charm was placed in a 20-runner maiden at Naas in April and now starts off for a new yard having left Gordon Elliott. Dropping to this trip should suit, but she has been off for five months. Beaten a long way when fourth at Listowel, Survivors Sister looks next best.

Gavin Cromwell's WELONLYHAVEDONE looks the pick having won a point and it was a respectable bumper run here at the festival.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

After landing a maiden on his hurdling debut, TORQUAY ROAD struggled in handicaps last season but a sizeable drop in the ratings has enabled him to be competitive recently and he was back to winning ways at Sligo in August. He's effectively off the same mark with a good 7lb claimer taking the mount and drying ground will suit. He won over a bit further last time and that stamina will be important at this venue. Harpy Eagle was placed in a pair of good-ground maidens and is of interest on his handicap debut. Zaryagle showed ability on his penultimate start at Roscommon, while Moulane West is held by the selection on Sligo running but has place claims.

A few of these have questions to answer so a chance is taken on last year's runner up BOWGATE STREET who is 1lb lower now

Cian Collins and Eoin Staples have good claims in the previous contest with Torquay Road and that is the case again here with the progressive SPORTING GLANCE. The Coastal Path gelding won readily here on his handicap debut and followed up with an equally comfortable success in a rated novice at Downpatrick. He has shot up the ratings, but looks capable of landing the hat-trick. Beaten around six lengths when third to the selection at this venue, Kingkong Ciergues is now 19lb better off, which obviously gives him a good chance on paper. Jacovec Cavern comes into this in good form and has to enter calculations.

The progressive hat-trick seeker SPORTING GLANCE is totally unexposed in handicaps and may not have found his ceiling yet

The John Patrick Ryan-trained KILASHEE can gain a first win of the campaign. A game front-runner who has seven previous victories to her name, the daughter of Oscar has conditions in her favour. Michael Kenneally, who got a great tune out of the 10-year-old when runner-up over fences at Roscommon, retains the ride. Sure to have learned plenty about the mare on that occasion, he should make another bold bid from the front. Navan second Ladiam looks the biggest danger. The Norman Lee-trained eight-year-old was a winner at Sligo earlier in the year and has been consistent of late. Gers Gigi needs to improve, but has to be respected for an in-form partnership.

Solid recent form is thin on the ground but LADIAM has posted decent efforts in two of her last three runs and she is a tentative pick

WILL THE WISE can register a first win over fences. A distant second at Killarney in May, the Gavin Cromwell-trained gelding had previously shaped with promise when fifth over an inadequate trip on his chasing debut. With the benefit of that experience, the six-year-old should prove difficult to beat. A former point-to-point winner, he has the potential to make up into a decent novice this term. A three-time winner over hurdles, Ol Man Dingle also gives the impression he could prove to be a better chaser. Runner-up on his only point-to-point run, the Eoin Griffin-trained gelding has to be of interest. Fourth here on his chasing debut, More Coko is entitled to progress.

Interesting. MORE COKO has the benefit of chasing experience and it was a good run against respected opposition here in July.

Runner-up on his last two outings, INTHENICKOFTIME can step up a place. Having been beaten less than a length on his most recent start over fences, at Roscommon in June, the Enda Bolger-trained gelding took minor honours back over hurdles last time. Reverting to fences once again, the five-year-old is unexposed in this discipline after just the three starts and it would be no surprise to see him take another step forward. A winner at Wexford in August, Finnians Row then ran well when dropped in trip at Ballinrobe and should appreciate the stiffer test. Vaureal is also worthy of respect for the Ian Donoghue yard.

A clear second last time back hurdling and nearly a winner the run before over fences, INTHENICKOFTIME (nap) looks the solid option.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

The Joseph O'Brien-trained ZEUS POWER has to be of interest on his racecourse debut. By a Melbourne Cup winner, the four-year-old is bred for a test of stamina, but he should also have a degree of speed given his pedigree. The booking of John Gleeson certainly suggests that he is forward enough to know his job. Answer That would have leading claims on his initial run, when second to a decent filly at Gowran Park in January. However, having finished tailed off at Punchestown subsequently, he comes with a health warning. Quinta Brigada could run a big race for his capable trainer.

A chance is taken on the Flat-bred ZEUS POWER, whose stable won this in 2017 and 2018. A few of these look open to improvement.
