1st (6) (5/2 -54%)Myrrh |
5/2(-54%) | (6) Myrrh 5/2, Too much to do but finished well on promising debut third, beaten 2l in a maiden over 7f at Beverley. Can do better over 1m+ and looks a likely improver. Promising third of 13, best of the newcomers, in fillies' maiden at Beverley; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (13/2 -63%)Beyond The Bar |
13/2(-63%) | (1) Beyond The Bar 13/2, 3 May; Bangkok colt; half-brother to Power Of Twins, useful at 6f; dam smart at 7f at 2yo; yard's horses tend to need more time. Newcomer whose parents raced for his owner-breeder King Power Racing; interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (150/1 -200%)Wave Power |
150/1(-200%) | (5) Wave Power 150/1, Far too free out wide and green under pressure on modest debut when well beaten in a maiden over 7f at Musselburgh. Trainer in form; returns from a short break but likely to need more time. Trailed home last of nine in Musselburgh maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (12/1 -9%)Red Rifle |
12/1(-9%) | (4) Red Rifle 12/1, Improved from debut when beaten 4l in a novice at Haydock last time, though a bit keen. Effective at 1m; progressing but probably one for handicaps. Appeared to fare better last time but likely needs another step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (7/2 +81%)Maxwellcan |
7/2(+81%) | (2) Maxwellcan 7/2, Poor debut when well beaten in a novice at Ripon on only start; yard won this last year. Likely to need more time and may be suited by further than 1m. Achieved little in 1m contest at Ripon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (40/1 -21%)Queenies Pal |
40/1(-21%) | (7) Queenies Pal 40/1, Ran to form when beaten 5 1/4l in a maiden over 6f at Ripon last time. Effective at 6f and may stay 7f, but plenty more needed to get off the mark. Plenty to find on her 6f efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|DQ| (3) (11/8 +21%)Mehsun |
11/8(+21%) | (3) Mehsun 11/8, Very promising debut third here, beaten 4l in a maiden; rider dropped whip late but beaten at the time. Knew job on debut and should progress a little. Showed promise with third over six in C&D maiden; one of the main form contenders. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MYRRH shaped with plenty of encouragement when finishing a close third on her introduction at Beverley and is likely to take a step forward. David O'Meara's youngster looks to have found a suitable opportunity to get off the mark. Mehsun showed ability when third on debut over C&D and needs considering with that experience under his belt. Any market confidence behind newcomer Beyond The Bar would be interesting.

Mehsun and Myrrh are the main form players but the standard isn't daunting and thus BEYOND THE BAR could make a winning debut.

1st (10) (22/1 -38%)Sir Benedict |
22/1(-38%) | (10) Sir Benedict 22/1, Never competitive when beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap at Carlisle last time. Drawn wide. Best at 5f nowadays, acts on soft, good, and all-weather. His form is going the wrong way, and as a veteran he needs a pace collapse. Behind some of today's rivals last time, taking record this year to 0-14. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (7/1 -75%)Canaria Queen |
7/1(-75%) | (4) Canaria Queen 7/1, Improved again with a clear run to land a handicap by a neck off 53 at Carlisle last time. Effective at 5/6f, acts on any ground, and remains in quite good form. Held on by a neck at Carlisle, making it three wins from her last five starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (9/1 +44%)Zaphea |
9/1(+44%) | (7) Zaphea 9/1, Disappointing after a wind operation when beaten 6l in a handicap at Carlisle last time. This is her second run since the surgery. Effective at 5f, suited by cut, but currently out of form. Far from solid on 2025 form; best watched unless market speaks favourably. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (12/1 -20%)Ski Angel |
12/1(-20%) | (9) Ski Angel 12/1, Well backed when scoring by a neck off 48 at Musselburgh in July. Forced wide and a bit below form when fifth, beaten 6 1/2l off 47 last time. Acts on good to firm and good to soft, effective at 5f, in moderate form. Difficult to dismiss, having been successful in this contest two years ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (6/4 +70%)Thunderstorm Katie |
6/4(+70%) | (3) Thunderstorm Katie 6/4, Produced her best run dropped in trip, scoring by a length off 52 here in August. Below form up in grade when eighth, beaten 7l off 57 last time. Effective at 5/6f and on a sound surface, in good summer form but a tricky hold-up ride. Sole attempt over C&D resulted in August success; interesting back in this scenario. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (11/1 -57%)Fear And Fast |
11/1(-57%) | (2) Fear And Fast 11/1, Ran to form when beaten 2 1/4l off 61 at Chepstow last time. Represents a top course trainer and returns from a short break. Effective at 5-6f, acts on soft and good to firm, an in-form maiden. 12-race maiden for Ismail Mohammed but has shown encouraging form latterly. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (28/1 -56%)John Kirkup |
28/1(-56%) | (11) John Kirkup 28/1, Ran to current form when 5 1/2l third in a handicap at Musselburgh on his latest start. Has a wide draw. Suited by 6f, effective at 5f, and acts on any ground. Has lost form, hinted at better last time but not one to rely on repeating it. Recorded a meagre RPR last weekend; on a near two-year losing spell. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (15/2 +25%)Stormy Pearl |
15/2(+25%) | (5) Stormy Pearl 15/2, Scored by 3/4l off 55 here in July. Every chance but a bit below form when sixth, beaten 4 1/4l off 58 last time. Enjoys making the running, effective on soft and good, and is back on her winning mark. Has a record of 4-9 at Hamilton but last two efforts don't augur well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (6/1 -33%)Giselles Izzy |
6/1(-33%) | (1) Giselles Izzy 6/1, Ran to form when appreciating the stiff track and easy ground to land a handicap by 1 1/4l off 55 over 6f at Carlisle last time. Consistent over 6-7f, acts on good, goes well with cut, and is in form. Consistent of late and rise in weights for last-time win is offset by Cara Tuke's claim. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (8) (50/1 -213%)Refuge |
50/1(-213%) | (8) Refuge 50/1, Stopped quickly when beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap at Carlisle last time. Has a wide draw. Effective at 5-6f, acts on soft and good, but has been regressive in 2025. Runner-up here in May but not in anything like the same form since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (80/1 -220%)Bring Her Home |
80/1(-220%) | (12) Bring Her Home 80/1, Has shown no worthwhile form and is yet to produce anything over 7-8f. Drop in distance needs to make a huge difference. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (6) (12/1 -85%)Kyber Crystal |
12/1(-85%) | (6) Kyber Crystal 12/1, Won this race last year. Returned to form down in trip, appreciating the stiff track when beaten 1/2l off 54 at Carlisle last time. Effective at 5f on good to firm, soft, and all-weather. Needs to build on that latest run, as her mark is not overly generous. Has several pieces of C&D form, notably a win in this race last year; respected. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KYBER CRYSTAL is a C&D winner who showed a lot more when finishing third at Carlisle earlier in the month and is just 1lb higher. The booking of Oisin Orr catches the eye and she looks the one to beat. Giselles Izzy got back to winning ways on the same card as the selection last time and shouldn't have any issues with this drop in trip, so she has to be respected. Fear And Fast is another to keep an eye on.

Last year's winner KYBER CRYSTAL gets the verdict, ahead of Thunderstorm Katie.

1st (3) (85/40 +29%)Arkinthestars |
85/40(+29%) | (3) Arkinthestars 85/40, Ran to form when benefitting from a drop in grade, finishing second and beaten 5l in a seller at Goodwood last time. Trainer in form. Suited by 9/10f, not quite as effective at 12f. Acts on good and good to firm. Consistent. Creditable second, ahead of Ocean Of Dreams, in Goodwood seller last time; major player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (7/2 -133%)Ocean Of Dreams |
7/2(-133%) | (2) Ocean Of Dreams 7/2, Disappointing in first-time blinkers, finishing fourth and beaten 8l in a seller at Goodwood last time. Suited by 10-12f and seems to handle any ground. Disappointing (behind Arkinthestars) last time; peak figures give him a leading chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (7/4 +50%)Cayman Dancer |
7/4(+50%) | (4) Cayman Dancer 7/4, From a yard that won this race last year. Keen and outclassed when raised in grade, well beaten in a 10f handicap at Newmarket (July) last time. Returns from a short break. Effective over 10-11f on soft and good to firm. 0-5 on turf but faced a tough task last time; possibilities in these calmer waters. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (9/2 -29%)Ancient Myth |
9/2(-29%) | (1) Ancient Myth 9/2, Below form when raised in grade and off a revised mark, well beaten in a 12f handicap at Thirsk last time. Had been in good form previously. Effective over 12/13f on good to soft and good to firm, though mark looks a touch high. Incurs penalty for Thirsk win (penultimate start) but remains unexposed in cheekpieces. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ARKINTHESTARS only found a subsequent winner too good in selling company at Goodwood last month and returns to the handicap ranks. If Karl Burke's filly replicates that level of form, she could put these to the sword. Ancient Myth struck at Thirsk on his penultimate start and a reproduction of that display would see him go close. Ocean Of Dreams can beat Cayman Dancer home for third.

There are positive angles with all of the runners. CAYMAN DANCER gets the narrow vote ahead of Arkinthestars.

1st (5) (5/2 -11%)Amayretto |
5/2(-11%) | (5) Amayretto 5/2, Keen but ran to form, benefitting from a drop in grade when landing a handicap by 3 1/4l off 64 here last time. Effective at 7-8f and handles any ground. In fair form though current mark is not generous. Scored comfortably over C&D last time and is still unexposed at this trip; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (5/2 +17%)Annie Edson Taylor |
5/2(+17%) | (8) Annie Edson Taylor 5/2, Improved in first-time blinkers when landing a handicap by 1 1/4l off 61 here last time. Effective at 5-6f, acts on good ground, and goes well with cut. In good form. Took well to first-time blinkers in C&D contest most recently; enters calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (8/1 +0%)Greydreambeliever |
8/1(+0%) | (1) Greydreambeliever 8/1, Ran to current form when beaten 3 1/4l off a mark of 80 at Newcastle last time. Suited by 6f and a sound surface, though temperament remains to be proven. Record of 0-9 since debut win but is 16lb below her opening mark and could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (7/1 +13%)Educating Rita |
7/1(+13%) | (3) Educating Rita 7/1, Below form when finishing down the field in a 5f handicap at Haydock most recently. Rides by a top course jockey. Effective at 5/6f, acts on any ground, and looks fairly treated. C&D winner as a 2yo and has produced best 2025 efforts at Hamilton; one to consider. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (9/1 -13%)Mae Amor |
9/1(-13%) | (2) Mae Amor 9/1, Returned to form when scoring by a neck off 74 at Leicester on her penultimate start. Below par eighth, beaten 7 1/2l off 77 last time. Generally consistent sprinter on a sound surface but probably on a stiff enough mark. Difficult to dismiss, having made all at Leicester in most recent turf start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (10/1 -82%)Thanks Angel |
10/1(-82%) | (4) Thanks Angel 10/1, Ran to form but looked in need of the outing when beaten 9l in a 7f Doncaster maiden last time. Trainer in form. Wears tongue-tie for the first time and returns from a break. Consistent so far, but opening mark asks for more. Shapes as if this drop in trip will suit on handicap debut; open to improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (10/1 +29%)Iris Dancer |
10/1(+29%) | (7) Iris Dancer 10/1, Won this race in 2022 and 2023. Needed every yard when scoring by a neck off 68 here three starts back. Made too much use of and finished tenth, beaten 8l off 70 last time. Effective at 6f, acts on any going, and goes well at Hamilton. Nine C&D wins, including twice on this race; below par in most recent Hamilton run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (14/1 +13%)Sweet Thing |
14/1(+13%) | (6) Sweet Thing 14/1, Hung badly under pressure and failed to handle the all-weather when beaten 5l in a 7f handicap at Newcastle last time. Effective at 6f but has yet to reproduce maiden form in a handicap. Ex-Irish filly who isn't particularly solid on her form for new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The introduction of blinkers enabled an upturn in performance when ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR landed the spoils over C&D earlier this month. Philip Makin's filly scored with enough in hand to suggest that she can defy a 4lb higher mark and is preferred to fellow last-time-out winner Amayretto. The daughter of Mayson enjoyed a drop in distance here 18 days ago and isn't taken lightly. Greydreambeliever is the pick of the remainder.

Handicap debutante THANKS ANGEL looks particularly interesting. Amayretto is second choice.

1st (4) (7/2 +61%)Tee Aitch Aye |
7/2(+61%) | (4) Tee Aitch Aye 7/2, Ran to his current level when beaten 1 1/2l off 65 over 10f at Ayr last time. Usually held up; effective from 9-10f and acts on soft and good. His form is in and out. Has shaped well a few times since handicapping; may have an ordinary race in him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (6/1 -140%)Arkenstaar |
6/1(-140%) | (7) Arkenstaar 6/1, Returned to form at his favoured venue when landing a handicap by a nose off 60 over 8f here last time. Effective from 8-10f, acts on any but best with cut, and goes well at Hamilton. Remains well handicapped. Regained the winning thread last time, taking his Hamilton record to 21111143441. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (6/1 -71%)Pisanello |
6/1(-71%) | (1) Pisanello 6/1, Produced his best run for some time in a visor when beaten a neck off 67 over 8f at Ripon last time. Usually held up; effective from 8-9f and acts on any ground. Has regressed but his mark has eased. Proved resurgent last time and has clear possibilities if building on that effort. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (13/8 +80%)Naturalia |
13/8(+80%) | (3) Naturalia 13/8, Game when scoring by a head off 63 over 1m5f at Ayr in July. Ran to form when second, beaten 3 1/2l off 65 last time. Effective from 9-13f, acts on good, and goes well with cut. In good form. Versatile filly who ran creditably at Ayr three days ago; fighting chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (12/1 -41%)Harswell Duke |
12/1(-41%) | (6) Harswell Duke 12/1, Did not stay, having been made plenty of use of, when beaten 4l off 64 over 10f at Chelmsford last time. Trainer in form. Effective from 7-9f, may not stay further. Acts on any but prefers give. Touch out of form, mark falling. Below par the last twice, extending his long losing sequence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (12/1 -9%)Shine On Brendan |
12/1(-9%) | (5) Shine On Brendan 12/1, Outpaced and below form when beaten 7 1/4l in a handicap at Carlisle last time. From a top course trainer. Suited by 8-9f and acts on any ground. An in-and-out performer on a fair mark. Five-time course winner who could go well returned to Hamilton. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (11/1 -10%)Mister Daydream |
11/1(-10%) | (2) Mister Daydream 11/1, Showed a better effort down in grade in first-time blinkers when beaten 6l in a 10f handicap at Newcastle last time. Suited by 10-11f, acts on good to soft and good to firm. Has lost form. Completed a double in the spring but not in the same form since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Naturalia returned to form with a respectable second at Ayr on Thursday and a similar performance should see her in the mix once more. However, PISANELLO arrives on the back of a close-up third at Ripon and that form looks a tad stronger. Six-time course winner Arkenstaar justified strong support in the market when just holding on to score over slightly shorter here 18 days ago and must also enter calculations.

Being still well handicapped on peak form, ARKENSTAAR (nap) could well reocrd another course win. Pisanello is second pick.

1st (7) (9/4 +18%)Belsito |
9/4(+18%) | (7) Belsito 9/4, Quickened and ran to form when dropping in grade, suited by easy ground to land a handicap by 2 1/2l off 61 here last time; effective at 6f, suited by cut; poor strike rate and revised mark requires more. Scored comfortably over C&D last time; back in good form; enters calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (7/2 +22%)Impressor |
7/2(+22%) | (6) Impressor 7/2, Ran to current form when benefitting from a pace collapse, beaten a length off 68 at Doncaster last time; effective at 5-6f and suited by give; currently in modest form. Resurgent last time; dual course scorer who remains well treated on peak form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (13/2 +41%)Parisiac |
13/2(+41%) | (4) Parisiac 13/2, Well backed and ran to form when scoring by 1 1/4l off 70 over 5f at Ayr in July; below form when up in grade 13th beaten 9l off 73 last time; suited by 5f and acts on any ground; usually consistent and can bounce back. Opposed back at 6f, having gained last five wins over 5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (17/2 -21%)Emperor Caradoc |
17/2(-21%) | (1) Emperor Caradoc 17/2, Scored by 1/2l off 72 at Nottingham in July; failed to stay when 12th beaten 9l off 76 last time; effective at 5-6f; acts on any ground; handicapper may have caught up. Went close over C&D on penultimate start and can't be ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (13/2 -30%)Showtime Mahomes |
13/2(-30%) | (3) Showtime Mahomes 13/2, Scored by 2l off 66 at Carlisle three starts back; no obvious excuse when sixth beaten 6 1/4l off 72 last time; effective at 5-6f and acts on any ground; had been in good form until latest run. Class 5 success in July; not disgraced in competitive Class 4 events since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (17/2 +15%)Danzan |
17/2(+15%) | (5) Danzan 17/2, Game when scoring by a neck off 64 at Ayr three starts back; made too much use of from a wide draw when 11th beaten 8 1/2l off 69 last time; effective at 6-7f and suited by give; not the force of old but capable off this mark. Veteran who registered his sole win this term in Class 6. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (11/4 +31%)Hour By Hour |
11/4(+31%) | (2) Hour By Hour 11/4, Too free but ran to form when fourth beaten 6l in a handicap at Ayr last time; returns from a short break; suited by cut and effective at 6f; consistent and has a liking for Hamilton. Fresh contender who is 3-5 at Hamilton and warrants respect back down in grade. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Belsito has to be respected following his C&D win earlier in the month, although a 7lb rise for that success could leave him vulnerable. As a result, preference is for IMPRESSOR, who bounced back to form when a close third off this mark over 6f at Doncaster recently. Showtime Mahomes edges out Hour By Hour to be best of the rest.

Dropped back two grades, HOUR BY HOUR could well enhance his good strike-rate at this track. Belsito is second pick.

7/4(-8%) | (4) Cougar 7/4, Quickened clear cosily to justify strong support, back to form in first-time blinkers when landing a handicap by 7l off 51 at Musselburgh last time. Effective at 12f, suited by cut, and remains very well handicapped on old Irish form. Took well to blinkers at Musselburgh, scoring by 7l; leading player under 5lb penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (10/3 +17%)Taylormade Lad |
10/3(+17%) | (3) Taylormade Lad 10/3, Keen, returned to form when dropped in grade landing a handicap by a neck off 60 over 11f at Carlisle last time. Effective at 11-12f on fast ground, with a bit more to come. Off the mark in Carlisle event most recently; may build on that win and improve further. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (17/2 +58%)Aighear |
17/2(+58%) | (6) Aighear 17/2, Far too free and found little when beaten 5l in a handicap over 11f here last time. Top course trainer. Effective from 12-17f and enjoys cut but remains inconsistent. Not particularly solid on 2025 form; behind two of today's rivals last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (10/3 +0%)Jaminoz |
10/3(+0%) | (1) Jaminoz 10/3, Up 4lb but remains well treated on old form, ran to form when landing a handicap by 2l off 58 over 11f here last time. Effective from 10-12f, goes well with cut, best form at Hamilton and still well treated on past efforts. Bids for a hat-trick after wins at Carlisle and Hamilton (4-25 here overall); respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (5/1 +38%)Cascade Hall |
5/1(+38%) | (2) Cascade Hall 5/1, Made too much use of up in grade when down the field in a handicap at Newcastle most recently. Strong jockey and trainer course combination. Effective from 12-16f, generally consistent but remains a frustrating maiden. Back down in grade but remains a maiden and is up against some recent winners. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (25/1 -257%)Elvington |
25/1(-257%) | (5) Elvington 25/1, Went clear, rallied gamely, and improved in first-time cheekpieces when beaten 2l off 46 over 11f here last time. Trainer in form. Effective from 10-11f on good to soft and may stay further; progressing and worth marking up latest effort. Has patchy form but ran well in first-time cheekpieces at Hamilton most recently. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

COUGAR had plenty in hand when winning by seven lengths at Musselburgh a week ago and the six-year-old is very hard to oppose on the back of that performance, despite a 5lb penalty. The hat-trick seeking Jaminoz could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Taylormade Lad and Elvington are others who arrive here with valid form claims.

Musselburgh winner COUGAR appears capable of defying a 5lb penalty. Taylormade Lad and Jaminoz look the main dangers.
Ths is the racecard key.
