2nd (4) (20/1 +39%)Golden Moonshake |
20/1(+39%) | (4) Golden Moonshake 20/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Market Rasen latest where went too fast; not proven trip; risky Went off 50-1 when pulled up on handicap debut in September. |

3/1(-140%) | (2) Mr Zee 3/1, Well backed when landing a handicap by 1 1/2l off 75 over 2m at Taunton last time; enjoys making it; consistent; squeak Didn't win by far at Taunton but only 4lb higher here; should give his running once more. |

20/1(-82%) | (5) Bradman 20/1, Appeared not to stay beaten 6l in a handicap hurdle at Wincanton last time; not proven trip; multiple flat winner; danger if stamina holds up Easily his best run over hurdles was when under 6l away on handicap debut. |

33/1(+34%) | (6) Fan Magnet 33/1, Below par down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m here most recent; generally out of form; not proven trip; returning from a break; bit to find Nothing so far over hurdles, including handicap debut here in December. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MR ZEE opened his account over hurdles with a cosy victory at Taunton last month. Michael Blake's charge had a subsequent winner back in third, so another bold bid looks on the cards on the strength of that form. Pooroldmackley makes a quick reappearance having won over fences on heavy ground at Newton Abbot just three days ago. He makes less appeal reverting to hurdling, and handicap debutant Zarhanya could prove a bigger threat with a conditional rider taking 10lb off her back.

Michael Blake's MR ZEE is consistent, versatile ground-wise and a winner last time out. He's preferred over Pooroldmackley.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

7/1(-110%) | (2) God Of Fire 7/1, Weak in the market second beaten 6l in a maiden hurdle at Plumpton latest; multiple flat winner; the one to beat with improvement likely Given Flat ability his second in a modest Plumpton maiden was underwhelming. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

50/1(-52%) | (7) Pillar The Poet 50/1, Below par comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Southwell last time; not proven trip; off a short-break; plenty more needed Never threatened to take a hand on hurdling debut at Southwell (2m, good to soft; 28-1). |

5/1(+17%) | (1) Doctor Love 5/1, Raced freely fourth beaten 4l in a novice hurdle at Ludlow latest; trainer in form; off a short-break; plenty more needed Went off a bit hot when beaten under 4l in a 2m novice at Ludlow (soft) the last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (150/1 -355%)Monteria |
150/1(-355%) | (6) Monteria 150/1, Unseated in a handicap over 10f at Doncaster latest; not proven trip; plenty more needed Dual Flat winner but will need to run better than on his hurdling debut at Taunton. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (400/1 -167%)You Moved On |
400/1(-167%) | (10) You Moved On 400/1, Pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Southwell latest; should come on for that; off a short-break; all to do Well beaten in a bumper for Olly Murphy and was pulled up at 300-1 on stable/hurdle debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Doctor Love may well have finished closer than fourth at Ludlow if settling better in the early stages. He could be on the premises, but GOD OF FIRE is marginally preferred. A fair handicapper on the Flat with four wins to his name, the five-year-old made a promising debut over timber when runner-up at Plumpton and he should prove a more potent force with that experience under his belt. Jackstell makes most appeal of the remainder.

Jamie Snowden's JACKSTELL was strong in the market last time at Ascot and didn't run badly behind one who got loose on the lead.

5/2(-25%) | (3) A Definite Getaway 5/2, Bit in hand landing a handicap by 9 1/2l off 110 over 3m at Exeter last time; consistent; should be thereabouts Made all in a weak race last time but handicapper didn't overreact with just a 3lb rise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (8/1 +0%)Climbing |
8/1(+0%) | (6) Climbing 8/1, Below par comfortably held in a handicap chase over 2m4f at Wincanton last time where ground too soft; returning from a break; up in trip; needs to improve Big shout on the form of his Kempton win; didn't enjoy the soft ground last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (5/2 -54%)Camino Rocio |
5/2(-54%) | (2) Camino Rocio 5/2, Plenty in hand when landing a handicap by 20l off 105 over 3m at Huntingdon last time; enjoys making it; threat in hat trick bid Left clear at Huntingdon but might have won anyway and he's on a roll; up 10lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (11/2 +45%)Face D'music |
11/2(+45%) | (5) Face D'music 11/2, Below par fourth beaten 29l in a handicap chase here latest; goes well here; returning from a break; bit to find on these terms C&D winner in November and wind surgery could enable him to get back on track. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (4/1 +43%)Atlanta Brave |
4/1(+43%) | (4) Atlanta Brave 4/1, Pulled up in a handicap chase over 3m at Exeter latest; off a short-break; inconsistent of late; could do with some rain Dangerously well handicapped if he can turn a corner after wind surgery. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The highly progressive CAMINO ROCIO will likely prove hard to stop. The winner of five of his last six starts, he recorded his most impressive success so far when scoring easily at Huntingdon last month and is taken to defy a 10lb hike. A Definite Getaway faces a more difficult task than when successful at Exeter, but he ran out a convincing winner on that occasion and is not out of it. Kempton scorer Climbing will appreciate conditions on his return from a break.

If a wind operation has had a positive effect on ATLANTA BRAVE then he is extremely well handicapped and the chance is worth taking.

5/4(+38%) | (5) Everyonesacritic 5/4, Suited by the testing ground when scored by 3/4l off 84 over 2m4f at Leicester penultimate start; second beaten 4l off 87 last time; steadily progressive; threat Beaten in his hat-trick bid but still has clear claims off same mark; goes well here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (5/2 -43%)Chestnut Pete |
5/2(-43%) | (1) Chestnut Pete 5/2, Well treated at weights when landing a handicap by 11l off 96 over 2m here last time; that form franked; can follow up Up 7lb for latest win here but he does have competitive form off his new mark. |

13/2(+35%) | (3) Greenrock Abbey 13/2, Comfortably held in a handicap chase here last time; generally out of form; goes well here; has dropped a long way in weights; could figure Should be well handicapped but this season hasn't got going at all. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (20/1 -100%)Annie Nail |
20/1(-100%) | (6) Annie Nail 20/1, Did not get a clear run comfortably held in a handicap chase at Fakenham last time where given plenty to do; inconsistent; off a short-break; outside chance Has won over fences but modest runs the last twice and sold on for £3,000. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (16/1 +11%)Russian Ruler |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (66/1 -32%)Clashmore Banter |
66/1(-32%) | (7) Clashmore Banter 66/1, Raced freely well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f here latest; generally out of form; not proven trip; more needed Limited hurdler who goes chasing from 7lb out of the weights and she's hard to recommend. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EVERYONESACRITIC struck the woodwork when in search of his hat-trick over C&D last month. The winner has gone in again subsequently and Evan Williams' six-year-old looks set to mount a bold bid from an unchanged mark. Chestnut Pete was raised 7lb for a facile success over 2m here, but will be a player as long as he proves as effective over this longer trip. Greenrock Abbey is another to consider.

It was good to see Chestnut Pete finally get his head in front last time but EVERYONESACRITIC (nap) can deny his follow-up bid.

150/1(-436%) | (8) Clearance 150/1, Probably needed race comfortably held in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Taunton last time; usually held up; down in trip; saves best for Newton Abbot A Newton Abbot specialist who was tailed off at Taunton after a lengthy break. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Zhang Fei bolted up at Fakenham when last seen in December and he merits respect, as does Prolific Profile, who finished a creditable second at Kempton three weeks ago. Tapley has faced some stiff assignments so is not to be underestimated now afforded an ease in grade, but the vote goes to CORNISH STORM. Stuart Kittow's gelding has been in good form under both codes recently and, with scope for further progress, he could offer some value.

A very open race. BLACK HAWK EAGLE was a dual winner last season and, bar one blip, this campaign has been going okay.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Point-to-point winner RACE TO BASE showed promise at Aintree on Boxing Day before progressing to fill the runner-up spot over this C&D. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge sets a clear standard and any further improvement will make him difficult to beat. Nathaniel gelding No Panic makes some appeal on paper and market support would be noteworthy, while Emerald Time heads the remainder.

Race To Base could be hard to beat but CAPTAIN HUGO is bred to have a future and his yard's bumper horses have been going well.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
