The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MALANGEN was on an 8lb higher mark when he won this corresponding race 12 months ago and is an attractive proposition, having had a similar preparation in the build up to his crack at back-to-back wins. Huit Reflets goes well here and can make sure the selection is kept up to his work, while National Question is another C&D winner that cannot be ruled out having returned from a break/wind surgery with a fourth-placed finish on the Flat at Pontefract last month.

A chance is taken on HUIT REFLETS who was too free for his own good when placed here two weeks ago and he's back in trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BENY NAHAR ROAD is readily nominated after he won in a cosy manner at Southwell 19 days ago. A 6lb higher rating looks fair and the six-year-old's case is boosted as he already boasts some C&D experience. Glory And Honour's recent second-placed finish over hurdles here should have kept him ticking over nicely and he rates a key player in what is likely to be a tactical affair. Scots Poet can utilise his course knowledge to out manoeuvre Disco Annie for third place.

Henry Hogarth's progressive BENY NAHAR ROAD scored impressively at Southwell recently and can make light of a 6lb rise in the weights

7/1(-8%) | (2) Brave Adam 7/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 3m at Fairyhouse latest; cheekpieces first time; significant jockey booking; off a short-break; thrown in on Irish chase form; not ruled out on stable debut Pulled up at Fairyhouse on final run for Thomas Cooper; not ruled out for new yard though. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Fortune The Brave's latest start is best forgotten as he unseated at the first flight at Punchestown. The Irish raider has to be of interest in taking this potentially winnable race. However, he has to concede plenty of weight to the hat-trick seeking MAN OF ACTION, who won over this C&D in early-May before following up at Perth a fortnight ago. A 5lb higher rating might not be enough to prevent him from extending the winning sequence, while Foxwood and Brave Adam are the pick of the rest.

A few with chances but MAN OF ACTION (nap) hasn't looked back since sent over longer distances and can complete a hat-trick

200/1(-100%) | (8) Uncle Al 200/1, Something amiss well beaten in a bumper over 2m at Perth only start; up in trip; off a short-break; all to do on hurdle debut Always behind and trailed home last in a Perth bumper, for which he was 150-1. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This isn't the deepest of contests and it could provide MAGGIES BOY the perfect opportunity in which to break his hurdling duck. Jennie Candlish's gelding has posted a number of solid efforts in defeat and the addition of a first-time tongue-tie could eke out a little more. Moonbow was a well-held third at Perth a fortnight ago but he ought to have learnt plenty from that experience and is one of the likelier candidates. Mayor Kingston is a half-brother to a multiple hurdles winner and market support would be noteworthy.

He wouldn't be one to take too short a price about but MAGGIES BOY has by far and away the most convincing pieces of form.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (6/5 +40%)Marty Mcfly |
6/5(+40%) | (5) Marty Mcfly 6/5, Keen, travelled, readily, improved on chase debut landing a handicap by 3 1/2l off 92 here last time; sound surface suits; more to come; threat Tongue-tie added to cheekpieces when making a successful chase debut by 3.5l. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MARTY MCFLY jumped well to make a successful chasing bow over C&D recently and, with the prospect of more to come, he is fancied to defy a 3lb rise en route to further success. Royal Deeside was also victorious over track and trip last time so he merits the utmost respect, as does Fontwell scorer Fortunate Fella. O'Faolains Glory is no back number either.

Last month's gritty Fontwell winner FORTUNATE FELLA can continue the good work for his new yard after leaving Paul Nicholls for £40,000.

4th (4) (6/1 -50%)Kow Boy Sivola |
6/1(-50%) | (4) Kow Boy Sivola 6/1, Keen, ran to form comfortably held in a novice hurdle over 2m here last time; step up in trip a plus; could take advantage of lenient opening mark Not discredited when fifth here eight days ago; considered now handicapping up in trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FEACH AMACH hasn't looked back since undergoing wind surgery in March, winning three of her four starts since - the most recent of those coming at Kelso last month. Adam Nicol's mare is 4lb higher today and would require a career-best but, while some of these have a bit to prove, she ought to go very close. A drop in trip and a return to this venue could hold the key to Les's Legacy, who merits respect along with handicap debutant Kow Boy Sivola.

The progressive FEACH AMACH has thrived since joining Adam Nicol and can make it 4-6 for the yard here on the back of her Kelso victory
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
