14:10 Hexham (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having opened his account in a bumper at Sedgefield last month, Frammy now goes hurdling and must be of interest. However, previous experience could be key and SPADESTEP shades preference with that in mind. Beaten a neck on both of his starts over timber in the spring, the son of Jukebox Jury can deservedly go one place better today. Getaway Frankie might fare best of the remainder.

This is a very good opportunity for SPADESTEP, who went down fighting when second to a useful rival at Perth in April.

14:45 Hexham (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The switch to handicaps coincided with a much-improved performance from SLEMISH, who returned from a break to fill the runner-up spot at Fontwell in August. This doesn't look as competitive so despite a 5lb rise, compensation could await Laura Horsfall's charge. A mark of 91 looks workable for stable debutant Cap Ricochet, who is feared most ahead of Mini Mario.

Some are still unexposed but the most obvious answer is SLEMISH, who ran well in defeat on last month's handicap debut at Fontwell.

15:20 Hexham (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Pure Gold won with something in hand at Perth recently and she warrants respect in her follow-up bid. However, she must now shoulder a 7lb penalty in a stronger race so it might pay to side with T OR COFFEY instead. Jennie Candlish's charge landed a maiden hurdle on his stable bow at Stratford in July and with further progress a real possibility in this sphere, a mark of 107 could prove lenient. The hat-trick seeking Double Digits and Winds Of Winter add further spice to the mix.

Topweight WINDS OF WINTER has made remarkable progress for her new stable this season and is taken to record a second C&D success.

15:53 Hexham (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DIVILABOTHER made a successful start to life with Tristan Davidson when on target over C&D in August, before finishing a creditable second in a warm class 2 at Kelso the following month. The seven-year-old is only 1lb higher and with further progress likely at this level, he is expected to go close. Four of Les's Legacy's five career wins have come at this venue, the latest of those in June, and he merits respect. Others to note include Dee's Getaway and Teofimo.

This looks good for DIVILABOTHER (nap), who was a convincing C&D winner on his stable debut and returns here after a creditable second.

16:27 Hexham (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Jennie Candlish won this event last year so her handicap debutant Justlikefire is worth a second look, as is Robert d'Ores, while there were signs of a revival from Lelantos at Newton Abbot. Preference, though, is for MAN OF ACTION, who won over the track and trip earlier in the year and may have appreciated a break since his last start in July.

Getaway With You has become very expensive to follow and is opposed with JUSTLIKEFIRE, who moves up in trip for his handicap debut.

Having been headed on the run-in over C&D last time out, ROYAL DEESIDE showed plenty of determination to get back up and score. A 3lb rise for Patrick Morris' gelding looks fair considering the runner-up has won since and a third track victory could be on the cards. Victory Club bounced back to form with a good second at Sedgefield last month and he should not be taken lightly from an unchanged mark. Others to note include Follow Your Arrow and Stylish Recruit.

Dual chase winner INGENNIO shaped well over hurdles on the second of his two stable starts and now reverts to fences on a good mark.

17:37 Hexham (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KILLYBEGS JET LADY offered plenty of encouragement when finishing second to the reopposing Upfordebate over C&D on her chasing debut last time out. The latter went on to score cosily at Perth next time and is clearly on an upward curve, but the same might be said of the selection who can reverse that earlier form on these revised terms. McGregors Charge and Ballydangan can't be overlooked either.

Top of the list is UPFORDEBATE who made it 2-3 over fences when scoring at Perth last week. Killybegs Jet Lady is feared most.
