14:30 Kelso (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Fiver Friday got off the mark on her first start over hurdles at Naas and if she improves for that, her journey over from Ireland may easily prove worthwhile. DOUBLE DIGITS has to give her 7lb but has an experience edge with four starts over timber, winning the latest at odds-on at Carlisle. On ground that is expected to suit, he could come out on top. Keady Town returns from a wind operation for his hurdling debut and he might prove best of the rest.

Useful Flat racer FIVER FRIDAY beat a big field on last month's hurdling debut and could have a very good future over jumps.

15:05 Kelso (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Tread Softly Now is the only course winner in this field after she scored narrowly over shorter last time out, but her record over 2m4f-plus isn't good and she may have to settle for a top-three spot. Isabel De Clare is coming down the handicap and could be of interest if first-time cheekpieces bring any improvement, although WINDS OF WINTER is still preferred. Second to Tread Softly Now earlier in the month, she is better off with the winner, which can help her turn that form around.

Third in a big-field series final at Musselburgh last month, ANAMANDA might open her hurdling account in this easier race.

15:40 Kelso (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It may pay to take a chance on top-weight TOPOFTHECOTSWOLDS, who won seven races for Nigel Twiston-Davies and was last seen coming home fourth at Sedgefield on his third appearance since joining Ollie Pears. A mark of 105 is a massive 37lb lower than his highest rating, and even at the age of 11 there may be one more victory in him. Instinct D'ainay is an obvious danger on his handicap and chasing debut, and is a bit of an unknown quantity. Pure Surf arrives in good form and is another to consider.

The one with least to prove is PURE SURF, who has her limitations but has posted two good efforts under Pippa Brown this month.

16:12 Kelso (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

STARLYTE made her way through the field to run out a ready scorer over track and trip last month and this looks a slightly easier assignment. The eight-year-old is only 7lb higher and can make it four victories from her last five starts. Sauce Of Life broke his hurdling duck at Doncaster in December and should go well again, while Imperial Data is another to note after his second behind the selection last time.

Left with a lot to do from the third-last flight, IMPERIAL DATA (nap) did very well to take second in a competitive C&D race in March.

ROGER RAREBIT finished a well-held fourth at Haydock in January, but may appreciate this step back up in trip judged on his second at Warwick two starts ago. Tom Lacey's eight-year-old remains on a workable mark and can regain the winning thread. Super Citizen beat Whosmydaddy by just under a length at Carlisle and is expected to confirm that form to go close. Achille Des Rocs sports first-time cheekpieces and isn't out of it either.

Chasing debutant ACHILLE DES ROCS won twice over hurdles in late 2024 and has plenty of Irish pointing experience to call upon.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Point-to-point winner CHANONRY POINT made a strong impression when scoring comfortably on her bumper debut at Musselburgh and will have lots of improvement in her. Lucinda Russell's mare may only need to produce a similar performance in order to defy her 7lb penalty. Jimmy Hurdstrom improved from his first start under Rules to fill the runner-up spot at Wetherby and would be foolish to dismiss. Any market support behind newcomer Abbey Scope would be interesting.

Chanonry Point created a good visual impression at Musselburgh but preference is for Wetherby runner-up JIMMY HURDSTROM.
