13:35 Kelso (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Placed on each of his three starts over hurdles, HE'S BRESILIAN brings a consistent level of form to the table, which may be good enough to see him get off the mark in a winnable contest. Runner-up at Carlisle when last seen in March, Eagles Reprieve has plenty of potential on his return, as does Sanilam, who makes his hurdles debut after a respectable fifth in a Perth bumper back in April. Kadjar Des Mottes and Smoke Trail may also have a say in proceedings.

Placed on all three hurdling starts last season, HE'S BRESILIAN might get his head in front this time.

14:10 Kelso (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This can go the way of GOLDEN POINT, who was last seen finishing a respectable fifth in a Listed mares' novice hurdle at Doncaster in March. A winner at Ayr in January, the six-year-old could be made for chasing and this looks like a good starting point. Now in the hands of Dan Skelton after undergoing wind surgery since being well beaten here in April, Diamond Dealer must be of interest, along with My Lady Elektra, who makes her chase debut after a close-up third over further here in May.

This can go COSMIC BLIZZARD who won four times when sent back pointing earlier in the year and shaped with promise on his stable debut.

14:45 Kelso (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for DIAMOND MIX after a determined success at Hexham in April, the six-year-old is likely to have plenty more improvement forthcoming and he can follow up off 5lb higher. Chase A Fortune went well for a long way on his return at Sedgefield before weakening two out and he should come on for that run. Too Cool Forshrule was a highly creditable second on his first start for new connections at Hexham.

In a tricky race DIAMOND MIX is taken to follow up his breakthrough success at Hexham on his final start last season.

15:20 Kelso (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It could pay to stick with HEART ABOVE, given Dianne Sayer's charge usually saves his best for this track. He returned the ready winner over a longer trip here last month and Charlie Maggs' allowance negates most of a 6lb rise. Star Of Guiting placed at Ludlow when last in action in May and debuts for his new yard with a shout, while Two Auld Pals' stable has won the last two renewals and he could shape well back over timber.

A chance is taken on the unexposed ROSSBRIDGE, who was far from disgraced after a long break at Perth last time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

The veteran Elvis Mail has won the last two renewals and cannot be ruled out with any confidence. He should confirm running with last year's second Famous Bridge, but OLIVERS TRAVELS could prove a tougher nut to crack. Mickey Bowen's progressive chaser followed his convincing win at Cartmel with an even better effort when scoring easily at Uttoxeter last month and the hat-trick beckons. Snipe is back up in trip and may prove best of the rest.

Second-season chaser CADELL (nap) gets the vote ahead of stablemate Whistle Stop Tour.

16:30 Kelso (Class 3) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Rare Edition goes particularly well fresh and may well have more to offer on just his fifth start over the larger obstacles. Aeros Luck has struggled since winning at Punchestown in June, but a change of scenery could just freshen him up. However, it is difficult to ignore the credentials of THISTLE ASK. Now in the care of Dan Skelton, he went up 7lb for his Musselburgh victory in February and the lightly-raced gelding appears likely to have further improvement to come.

The most interesting contenders are the southern raiders RARE EDITION (narrowly preferred) and Thistle Ask.

17:05 Kelso (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lucky Manifest has shown a tendency to hang left, but that didn't stop him from recording his first victory here in May. The five-year-old commands respect on his handicap debut, but the vote goes to REMEMBERTHENAME. Placed in a couple of maiden hurdles at Ballinrobe during the summer, an opening mark of 104 might underestimate him on his first start for Sandy Thomson. Perth winner Lets Mingle is another capable of being in the mix.

This can go to LUCKY MANIFEST, who won over 2m4f here in May and should relish this longer trip on this handicap debut.
