11:45 Kelso (Class 3) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

It's difficult to look beyond the 144-rated THE FOUR SIXES, who is likely to find this a lot easier than his latest sixth in a handicap hurdle at Haydock. The seven-year-old previously made all over fences at Wetherby and he's a clear pick. Although Aeros Luck has yet to cut much ice in two starts for Sandy Thomson, he looks the obvious danger to the selection, ahead of Chumlee.

The most obvious answer is very useful hurdler THE FOUR SIXES, who easily won a match race when back over fences in October.

12:19 Kelso (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLDEN POINT's jumping improved a bundle when landing the spoils over an extended 2m7f here last month and there should be more to come. A 5lb higher mark looks manageable for the six-year-old, with this step up in distance forecast to suit. Super Citizen arrives on the back of a triumph at Carlisle and isn't taken lightly given his liking for this course, while Great Notions cannot be dismissed easing in class.

Still unexposed over fences, GOLDEN POINT does not look harshly treated by a 5lb rise for her course win six weeks ago.

12:54 Kelso (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Smart Flat performer TASHKHAN made a winning hurdles bow at Hexham earlier this month and this sharper track looks a positive move. Brian Ellison's gelding is open to improvement and is slightly more appealing than Imperfectlyperfect. The five-year-old found a Grade 2 at Cheltenham a step too far, but he should prove far more competitive in these calmer waters. Country Code and Burncourt Boy are others of interest.

Preference is for COUNTRY CODE, who delivered on the promise shown in Irish points when scoring on his hurdling debut.

13:29 Kelso (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THEY WANT ME chased home the recent Grade 1 winner Idaho Sun on his hurdling debut at Bangor in November and it would be no surprise to see him go one better in this company. That said, They're Chancers won his only bumper start and has to be noted on his first outing over timber, while Party In The Park and Lance Les Des are next best.

Bumper winner They're Chancers is respected but THEY WANT ME ran well in the face of a stiff task at Bangor and gets the nod.

14:04 Kelso (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A point winner in May, CAVALIER DU LUY was only beaten a neck into second on his Rules bow at Ayr in November. With the benefit of that experience, the son of Vadamos could be hard to beat here. Any market support for Malayalam, who cost 75,000 pounds earlier in the year, would have to be noted. Count Adhemar and William Yeats complete the shortlist.

Irish point winner CAVALIER DU LUY was only reeled in close home after making a bold bid from the front on last month's rules debut.

14:39 Kelso (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LOWLANDS is on the upgrade and is an attractive proposition after filling the runner-up slot the last twice. Both those efforts suggested she can progress in handicaps and, from a workable rating, this could be a good time to catch the Nicky Richards-trained mare. Speiriuil hinted at a revival with cheekpieces added at Musselburgh last time and can have a big say if the headgear continues to draw improvement. She's Notjoeking and Magnolia are other strong contenders.

Low-mileage 6yo LOWLANDS (nap) made a promising handicap debut one month ago and can go one better.

15:15 Kelso (Class 3) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Having won three of his last four starts, BARATABLET is the obvious starting point. The son of Wings Of Eagles returned from a break to notch a comfortable success at Newcastle 18 days ago and, assuming this doesn't come around too quickly, a 7lb higher mark doesn't look insurmountable. Magic Wave is a previous course winner that needs to be taken seriously on his reappearance, while Esprit Du Potier also commands respect.

Progressive 5yo BARATABLET was nicely in command in the closing stages at Newcastle this month and can strike again.
