13:33 Kempton (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A winner at Auteuil last May, GOLD CAST struggled to land a blow on her UK debut when pitched into Listed company at Newbury. However, this is a drop in grade and she has been given plenty of time to recover from that outing. Burning Embers showed promise on her bumper debut at Ascot last month and it's interesting she now goes hurdling given how late it is in the season. Shutfrontdoor may appreciate a sounder surface and is another to note.

Auteuil winner GOLD CAST has been given time since her low-key British debut and is given another chance.

14:08 Kempton (Class 3) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

CHUGGY has progressed well over fences by landing a hat-trick earlier in the season before probably being inconvenienced by the low sun at Aintree on Boxing Day. The six-year-old returns from a small break and may well have further improvement to come in this sphere. Secret Des Dieux went up 7lb for a comfortable success at Huntingdon and this intermediate trip looks ideal, while Musselburgh winner Pure Carbon heads the remainder.

The manner in which PURE CARBON got on top towards the finish over 2m last time suggests he could improve again over this trip.

14:40 Kempton (Class 2) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Nicky Henderson's team have been in excellent form at Cheltenham this week and that can continue with LA PINSONNIERE. The six-year-old looked to be in need of the run when third in a Listed contest at Warwick last month and she appears capable of taking a decent step forward. Marsiac remains open to improvement over timber after finishing fourth on handicap debut at Hereford. Others to consider are Double Powerful and Royal Infantry.

In an open race MARSIAC may be able to take another step forward after a useful effort on his handicap debut at Hereford.

15:18 Kempton (Class 2) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

BLUEKING D'OROUX landed a Grade 2 novice chase at Wincanton prior to finding the competition too hot in the Grade 1 Kauto Star over 3m here last time. Paul Nicholls' charge looks to have solid claims off his current mark with the underfoot conditions in his favour. Califet En Vol opened his account over fences with a cosy success over C&D and cannot be ruled out, despite a 5lb rise, while the recent Newbury third Teddy Blue is also noted.

Blueking d'Oroux may improve on a fairly low-key start to his chase career but CALIFET EN VOL (nap) can go on from a recent C&D win.

15:53 Kempton (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Etna Bianco has faced a couple of tough assignments since scoring at Ascot in November and should find life easier at this lower level. However, SOOMAROY is heading in the right direction and had a subsequent dual winner back in third when winning over 2m at Hereford in December. Nicky Henderson's five-year-old can take another step forward with this extra test of stamina likely to suit. Home Made Hero is preferred to Tiddesley Wood of the rest.

There's not much to separate four of these on RPRs but 2m Hereford winner SOOMAROY could have plenty more to give now going up in trip.

16:28 Kempton (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DOCTOR KEN could be worth chancing now he's tried in first-time cheekpieces. Olly Murphy's charge put in a lacklustre effort at Lingfield latest, but was a bit of an eyecatcher over C&D on his seasonal debut and going back up in trip should suit. Charles Ritz wasn't at the races at Ludlow but is better judged on his ready Southwell success previously, while Pedley Wood is another to consider.

Pedley Wood comes into it on his form last winter but preference is for DOCTOR KEN who has been running respectably in better races.

17:03 Kempton (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Nicky Henderson's yard is in good nick, evidenced by a strong showing at the Cheltenham Festival, and newcomer Prince Rupert commands plenty of attention, as does Max D'airy for Paul Nicholls. Getting weight from the boys and with a run under her belt, GALANTE DE VASSY could be the one following an encouraging introduction at Ascot when she finished a staying-on third.

Paul Nicholls' French recruit MAX D'AIRY is preferred to Galante De Vassy before any betting clues are known about the newcomers.
