The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Red Tsarina changed hands for 40,000gns as a yearling and the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye, so she is one to watch out for. However, SWEET LOVE progressed from her introduction to finish third at Haydock earlier in the month and will relish this extra furlong. The daughter of Dream Ahead might only need to find minimal improvement in order to shed her maiden tag. Princess Honey Bee completes the shortlist.

On the book, PRINCESS HONEY BEE holds particularly strong claims. Alkumatic Jo Jo second choice.

8th (5) (150/1 +0%)Favourite Friend |
150/1(+0%) | (5) Favourite Friend 150/1, Far too keen up in trip, not stay when comfortably held in a novice at Chelmsford last time; trainer in form; wide draw; yet to beat a rival home Should be more interesting when qualified for a mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ALLEGRESSE shaped with bundles of promise when only finding one too good on debut at Doncaster last month and will have plenty of improvement in him. Andrew Balding's juvenile is well drawn in stall one and with Oisin Murphy doing the steering, he might prove difficult to beat. Previous made a strong impression when victorious on her first start at Newcastle and should mount a bold bid, despite her penalty. Any market support behind Geodaisia would be interesting.

The standout contenders on form are ALLEGRESSE and Previous. The two newcomers are attractively bred.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

11/4(+39%) | (5) Bizou 11/4, Ran to form beaten 3 1/4l off 65 at Leicester last time; effective 1m on a sound surface; fair mark Good third over C&D on handicap debut in May and ran okay last week, after a short break. |

80/1(-344%) | (10) Lady Of Alaska 80/1, Below form up in grade when down the field in a handicap over 7f at Doncaster most recent; significant jockey booking; effective 7f on G; inconsistent in short career, mark looks stiff Unplaced all five starts, including two down-the-field handicap runs; now with new stable. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Fast Bullet could only manage fifth at Windsor last month, but she goes off an unchanged mark and may get closer. Tuesdays Child makes her first outing for the George Boughey yard and needs to be monitored in the betting market, but THE NEW BAY PEARL gets the vote. Roger Varian's filly made the frame over track and trip prior to being well beaten at Chelmsford in June. She is now 2lb lower and might bounce back to strike.

This can go to BIZOU, who was a creditable third over C&D on her handicap debut in May and can build upon her recent turf run.

6/4(+45%) | (6) Dubai Beach 6/4, Bolted up and probably eased a length when scored by 5 1/2l off 75 over 8f at Chelmsford three starts back; met trouble at key stage, unsuited by drop in trip seventh beaten 6l off 89 last time; effective 1m on sound surface, needs step up to 1m Record of 2-4 since wearing hood; best to forgive latest run; still of interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (15/8 +32%)Grand Traverse |
15/8(+32%) | (1) Grand Traverse 15/8, Quickened, improved down in grade landing a handicap by 1 1/2l off 87 here last time; acts on GF, GS, AW; progressive over 7f Unexposed on AW and his C&D success last week took record in this sphere to 2-2. |

3rd (7) (13/2 +0%)Tennessee Gold |
13/2(+0%) | (7) Tennessee Gold 13/2, Met trouble, ran to form benefitting from drop in grade beaten 4l off 86 at Sandown last time; wide draw; effective 6-7f on sound surface Steadily finding his form this term; interesting back at Kempton (2-3 here). |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (22/1 -175%)Tadreeb |
22/1(-175%) | (8) Tadreeb 22/1, Ran to form down in grade beaten 3 1/2l off 71 over 8f at Sandown last time; effective 7-8f Nearly all of his AW form is at Lingfield; admittedly ran well here in March. |

50/1(-127%) | (5) Lexington Belle 50/1, Well below form when well beaten in a handicap at Musselburgh latest; enjoys making it; returning from a break Soundly beaten in sole outing this term; market may prove best guide. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

The winner of two of his last three starts, Grand Traverse commands respect but a 5lb penalty for last week's C&D success demands more. Therefore, a chance is taken on the less-exposed DUBAI BEACH, whose latest start can be forgiven as she never recovered from being denied a run. A course winner over a mile here in June, reverting to Polytrack could be highly instrumental in the Godolphin-owned filly staging a return to form. Cadarn and Tadreeb complete the shortlist.

Several runners bring good stats, most notably GRAND TRAVERSE (nap) who is 2-2 on AW. Tennessee Gold is second pick.

20/1(-100%) | (4) King Of The Bronx 20/1, Needed run on stable debut beaten 9 1/2l in a handicap over 10f at Windsor last time; in good form prior; suited by cut; effective 8-12f; inconsistent Modest effort last month on stable debut, having been a market drifter. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KARTHON is an intriguing contender on just his fourth start in a handicap and Kempton debut. As a half-brother to a Group 3-course winner, there is enough in his pedigree to suggest the surface won't be an issue. Furthermore, a first-time visor and the assistance of Oisin Murphy could be key factors in a big step forward. Distinction has been in good form on turf but his Polytrack record is less inspiring. With that in mind, track specialist Uzincso could be a bigger danger to the selection.

The combination of new headgear and a slight drop back in distance may enable KARTHON to open his account.

12th (1) (6/1 +50%)Rogue Dancer |
6/1(+50%) | (1) Rogue Dancer 6/1, Too much to do but returned to form beaten 4l off 72 at Southwell last time; top jockey back on board; effective 6f on AW; handicapper beginning to relent Resurgent effort on Tapeta last time; possibilities on Polytrack debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Saytarr resumed with an encouraging effort when he finished third at Newmarket at the start of the month. He should be a player if building on that display, while Moderna and Nimble Nasher are unexposed types to monitor in the betting as they debut in a handicap. However, FORT AUGUSTUS is the most appealing option based on an improved effort at Southwell most recently. Having been given a chance by the handicapper, the son of Blue Point can exploit running off a potentially lenient rating.

Returned to AW, INITIAL BLUE may belatedly confirm his 2yo promise. Moderna is second pick.
Ths is the racecard key.
