HIERARCHY returned to winning ways at Southwell last month and a 4lb rise could prove lenient as he looks to notch up a sixth career success. The biggest threat may prove to be Mc Loven, who has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of his third at Chelmsford in August. Lipsink is capable of being in the shake-up as well.

Prolific AW winner TYGER BAYp can gain another success, at the main expense of the in-form Hierarchy.

Related to multiple Group 1 winners, GO RIMBAUD got his career off to a respectable start when running on for fourth over 7f at Leicester last month and stepping up in trip can see him break the maiden on this occasion. Bred in the purple as a son of Wootton Bassett out of Group 2 scorer Usherette, newcomer Talk Of New York must be monitored for market support, along with Cheshire Cat. Brighton View is another open to improvement after showing plenty of greenness on its first outing at Haydock last month.

Talk Of New York looks the part on paper but GO RIMBAUD can put his debut experience to good use.

A creditable fourth in a valuable sales series final at Goodwood last month, ALARMING looks to have an ideal opportunity, despite having to overcome a wide draw. The daughter of A'Ali gets the vote ahead of Atalanta Mist, who shaped with plenty of promise when third on debut at Salisbury at the start of the month. A maiden through five starts, Sovereign Bright brings experience to the table and cannot be ruled out from a plum draw in stall three.

Several potential improvers on show but ALARMING chased home some smart fillies at Goodwood and remains capable of better.

Although no match for a progressive rival at Ascot recently, this looks a suitable opportunity for MILITARY CROSS to open his account. The Gosdens' gelding had previously finished a close-up second over C&D and a repeat may prove sufficient. Bahadur has posted several creditable efforts in defeat on turf and may serve the most resistance to the selection, although market support for newcomer Rehema would be interesting.

The choice is MILITARY CROSS who showed more than enough in his first two starts to suggest a race like this is well within reach.

RYE looked back to her best when filling the runner-up spot at Wolverhampton 25 days ago and a 1lb ease in the ratings could prove lenient. The daughter of Massaat finished second at this venue as a juvenile and the switch to Polytrack shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Cooramook has been thwarted in the closing stages on her last two outings at Lingfield and she could prove a live threat if coping with a wide draw. Dandy G Boy is the pick of the remainder.

Dandy G Boy should go well but OTTAWA ran well in 6f handicaps twice last month and looks ready for the return to 7f.

Dual course winner Red Mirage arrives on the back of a respectable fourth at Catterick and, in what appears a weak affair, he must enter calculations. However, KITARO KICH's latest second over 1m here looks slightly stronger and he could take all the beating if coping with a drop in trip. Strike didn't enjoy the smoothest of passages at Bath last month and is also worthy of consideration.

Kitaro Kich is handicapped to win but a tactical event at 7f might not be ideal. ENPASSANT (nap) could enjoy a tactical advantage.

A comfortable winner the last twice at Bath and Salisbury, FAIR DINKUM continues to go from strength to strength and a 7lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from landing the hat-trick on the step back up to 2m. Gelded since last seen bringing up a double at Southwell in March, Gemmari must be of interest on his return, along with Warrior King, who improved for this trip when second over C&D last month.

It may be worth taking a chance with HEDONISTA who is 12lb lower than when winning over C&D just over two years ago.

BLUE TRAIN looked value for more than the winning margin when scoring over C&D last week. A 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him from going in again, with Rossa Ryan taking over in the saddle. Sir Patchy had the reopposing Marchetti (third) behind when runner-up over 1m here recently and both are likely to figure on the rise in distance, along with Chicago Storm, who was last seen on the level finishing third over 1m2f at Bath in April.

The vote goes to BLUE TRAIN who has a 6lb penalty for his win over C&D a week ago but remains unexposed over this far.
Ths is the racecard key.
