16:17 Kempton (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Chapman's Peak sprung a surprise to score here earlier this month but there was no fluke about the performance, and a 4lb rise looks fair. That said, preference is for LIEUTENANT KIJE. The gelding chased home a now 95-rated rival over track and trip in August which suggests that he could have been underestimated by an opening mark of 73. Others to note include Elan D'or and Reimagined.

Elan D'Or has obvious claims if taking to AW but LIEUTENANT KIJE could take another step forward now handicapping.

16:50 Kempton (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Official ratings suggest Too Hot To Tango and Dictal have the ability to go well, but it is VALDORCIA that shades preference. The daughter of Oasis Dream has hit the frame on both of her starts to date, each over 6f, but this step up in trip is likely to suit and she can provide Toby Moore with his first winner.

The choice is VALDORCIA who has already twice run well here. The extra furlong may enable her to get off the mark.

17:25 Kempton (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In an open contest, a chance can be taken on ONE LAST SONG. The daughter of Justify, who fetched $250,000 as a yearling, represents a yard in excellent form and it would come as no surprise were she to play a leading role. Callahan sets the standard and is respected, whilst the likes of Oh Sit Down and Blackisthenewblack both warrant a market check.

With the stable having done well with its few 2yo newcomers since the summer of 2024, ONE LAST SONG catches the eye on debut.

18:00 Kempton (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Tamzan (second) has progressed with each start and finished ahead of both PRIZELAND (fourth) and Angelic Rascal (fifth) at Leicester earlier this month. However, it wouldn't be a surprise if Andrew Balding's filly, who caught the eye on her debut, took enough of a step forward to reverse the placings. Supplicate makes plenty of appeal as her full-sister, also trained by Roger Varian, made a winning start to her career.

Supplicate is a newcomer of some interest but PRIZELAND can leave her debut well behind and reverse placings with Tamzan.

SILCA BAY was denied in his bid for a hat-trick when runner-up here last month, but there is every chance Eve Johnson Houghton's gelding could improve for tackling a mile for the first time. Cogitate went close at this level on his penultimate start over C&D and backed that up when fourth in a stronger contest last time. The four-year-old commands respect, while others to note are Philanthropist and Almekarem.

It may be worth chancing BRAVE EMPEROR who showed a bit more at Haydock last time. He had a great record on the AW in his younger days.

19:00 Kempton (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COUL ANGEL scored at Newmarket on his penultimate start before finishing third at Wolverhampton earlier in the month. Mick Appleby's gelding has shown a tendency to hang to his right on those starts, so the switch to a right-handed track from a low draw might aid his cause. Stanley Spencer is best judged on his Southwell victory and the return to 6f is in his favour. He is likely to enter calculations along with Mesaafi.

Stanley Spencer can leave his latest run behind him, but COUL ANGEL (nap) is still improving and can gain his fourth win this year.

19:30 Kempton (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PRIDE OF DONEGAL has improved with each run so far and, having emerged as a ready winner over C&D 19 days ago, the son of Saxon Warrior is an attractive proposition after that power-packed handicap debut. A 7lb higher mark complicates the issue and the likes of fellow track-and-trip winners Club Class and Mrs Twig could capitalise on any weakness shown. The hat-trick seeking Gemmari is also considered on his first appearance since being gelded.

A 7lb higher mark and the stall 13 pose questions for recent C&D winner PRIDE OF DONEGAL, but he remains unexposed and can follow up.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
