ALPHECCA displayed ability when fifth on debut at Tipperary and then third at Naas. That latest outing confirmed she can handle plenty of cut in the ground and, granted further improvement, she could get off the mark. Hanak's stable won this race last year and he showed more in his last couple of starts in Galway. He was well supported ahead of his fifth in Ballybrit last month and now gets first-time blinkers. Sherekiya has been backed on both outings and the suspicion is that there is more to come from her. Joseph O'Brien's Just A City Boy is another with blinkers tried, while Colin Keane is an eyecatching booking for Honouramongthieves.

A modest maiden. ALPHECCA might be the answer as her form is right up there and she promises to be well suited by today's 1m.

This looks a good opportunity for the 78-rated LADY LILAC. The Inns Of Court filly has been placed in five of her eight contests and ran her best race to date when pipped by a neck in second on heavy ground at Listowel last month. Sigliosa is rated 3lb inferior to Lady Lilac and takes a drop in trip after four outings that yielded a best finish of third at this venue in July. Petrol Head has enjoyed several memorable days over hurdles, but would prefer better ground and although this isn't a deep race, he is coming off a break on his first start for a new stable. A market check is advised.

Unless any of the others can show significant improvement this should rest between LADY LILAC and Sigliosa.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

RIBEE hacked up by six lengths on soft ground at Bellewstown last week and ought to go well again under the 7lb penalty, with the tongue-strap retained. He is due to encounter similar conditions and remains in the same '70' grade. Spanish Temptress won over C&D in July and although she hasn't troubled the judge since then, a return to Killarney on this ground could spark improvement. Justenzia enjoyed plenty of cut when delivering over further at Clonmel last month, which brings her into the equation. Skippinandajumpin looks the pick of Joseph O'Brien's trio, while Casheldale Lass shouldn't be ruled out.

If RIBEE (nap) is in the same form as when bolting up last week at Bellewstown then a penalty might not stop him.

STARTING MONDAY dropped a fair way in the weights and responded with a decent third at Gowran Park. That form received a healthy boost when the winner followed up in a higher grade at the Curragh on Saturday. Vierson has to rate a danger after finishing third in Cork last week. She has been placed in three of her last five races, so wouldn't be winning out of turn. Wasittheway and Carvalhal are two who should be pitching for a cheque, while there are trip concerns for Half Nutz, despite an appealing mark.

If STARTING MONDAY is to win again it will probably be under these conditions and he knocked on the door last time at Gowran.

The Jessica Harrington-trained MARAZION has shown enough in five starts to suggest she can win here. Following two promising runs as a juvenile, the daughter of Sea The Stars finished third on her first two outings as a three-year-old. Despite failing to build on those performances at Leopardstown, she may have found 1m5f beyond her and, back over a more suitable distance, the 82-rated filly sets a fair standard. First-time cheekpieces could well bring about the desired improvement in Gifted. Aidan O'Brien's representative threw away her chance when hanging left at Galway last month. A place further back in that race, Forthill is entitled to be all the better for her debut run.

FORTHILL seemed to handle soft ground at Galway and she is open to plenty of improvement on her second start

A winner at the Galway Festival, the Dermot Weld-trained TILANI can record a second career success. The form of that race received a boost when the runner-up went on to score at Listowel last month. For his part, Tilani looked very unlucky before staying on to finish sixth in a big field at the Curragh recently. In a race of this nature, the booking of promising British apprentice Jack Dace certainly catches the eye. Sayidah New Bay should appreciate stepping back up in trip after keeping on nicely to finish fifth at Gowran. Chica Guerrera has every chance of gaining compensation, having been brought down at Listowel on her latest outing.

SAYIDAH NEW BAY may be able to make an impact off this mark on handicap debut after an encouraging run at Gowran 16 days ago

While it is somewhat disappointing that she hasn't won on the Flat yet, SEO LINN is given another chance. A Listed and Grade 2 bumper winner last NH season, the Paddy Twomey-trained mare had been expected to make an instant impact under this code. However, despite running with credit in four maiden starts, the daughter of Order Of St George has failed to get her head in front. On official ratings, though, she holds a strong chance in this company. Third on his Flat debut at Tipperary in May, Factual Fact rates the main danger. That form received a boost when the fourth won at Galway. The Tom McCourt-trained Radar Ahead looks best of the remainder.

Paddy Twomey's smart bumper performer SEO LINN is best treated by the race conditions and this looks a good opportunity for her
