14:20 Leicester (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Fay Ce Que Voudras banished a Ffos Las tumble to the memory when breaking her chasing duck over an extended 2m6f here. A 4lb rise isn't unduly harsh and the drop in trip isn't a problem, but she is still passed over in favour of BOBBI'S BEAUTY. The Martin Keighley-trained eight-year-old came out on top in this race a couple of years ago and her recent near-miss at Lingfield was given a boost when her conqueror went close to following up. Sawpit Samantha is expected to struggle.

Being a last-time course winner who remains attractively handicapped, FAY CE QUE VOUDRAS is taken to follow up.

14:50 Leicester (Class 5) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Not much in the way of recent winning form to go on, although a few bring solid placed form to the table. Heading that list is DELGANY DEADLINE, who stepped forward from his chasing debut to go under by just a length at Sedgefield and he can continue his forward momentum. Ronnies Reflection won this last year and returns on the same mark following a back-to-form Lingfield second. Fellow C&D scorer Nine Nine Nine might be helped by a wind procedure, and Just In A Bit should be thereabouts too.

Last year's protagonists RONNIES REFLECTION and Nine Nine Nine have solid claims. A couple of the others command respect.

15:20 Leicester (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PALAWAN DU MAZET showed his appreciation for the testing conditions when getting off the mark at Taunton, making amends for a disqualification after passing the post in front in the same race 12 months prior. He had a subsequent winner back in third and can kick on now. Ahanaglogh was fancied to leave all previous form well behind on his handicap/chase bow and did just that, but was still put in his place by an emphatic winner. There was encouragement to take from the display, though, and he must be feared. Nedzor is the pick of the remainder.

With progress plausible, Hereford runner-up AHANAGLOGH may well go one better. Palawan Du Mazet is the most solid danger.

15:50 Leicester (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DENEMETHY performed as well as could be expected when fourth in a class 2 at Sandown and these calmer waters may see him back on the scoresheet. A 1lb ease in the ratings can only benefit the eight-year-old and he should take all the beating. Rip Wheeler looked progressive until two disappointing defeats and a bigger threat may emerge from Xcitations, who is entitled to improve for his Uttoxeter reappearance.

Being a consistent sort who has solid form, DENEMETHY (nap) may well defy top weight back down in class and double his chase tally.

St Cuthbert's Cave would hold a leading chance judged on the pick of his form, but he pulled up at Ludlow and will need to put that behind him. With that in mind, PAUL MARVEL rates as the one to beat after scoring here in emphatic fashion and another bold bid looks likely. Prohus Yank was running with credit when unseating his rider at the final fence at Ludlow and may fare best of the remainder.

With the cheekpieces retained, solid-looking PAUL MARVEL may well complete a Leicester double. Just Lucky Sivola is second pick.

16:50 Leicester (Class 3) 22f Race Class Flow

Although he came to grief when sent off an even-money favourite at Warwick, JET PLANE is a clear pick on the ratings. Dan Skelton's charge had previously finished a good second off a mark of 137 at Sandown, suggesting that he will be difficult to beat in this company. Pyleigh Court is rated 14lb inferior to the selection but is feared most in his current heart, ahead of Bowtogreatness.

There's a strong case to be made for Jet Plane but PYLEIGH COURT is a plausible alternative.
