|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

10/3(-21%) | (3) Eyes Front 10/3, Soldier's Call colt; mugged on the line second beaten a head in a maiden at Haydock latest; steadily progressive; cheekpieces first time; suited by 7f and a sound surface; has progressed; one of the main dangers Second over this trip the last twice; cheekpieces added for this handicap debut; respected. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

THIS GUY has stepped forward with each career start and the son of Blue Point boasts strong credentials on his nursery bow, with an opening mark of 75 appearing to be more than fair. Eyes Front went agonisingly close on his third outing at Haydock and has to enter calculations, especially with cheekpieces applied for the first time. Gascony is of interest now rising in trip.

The penny hasn't dropped with SWEET LORD yet. He's picked in the hope a gelding operation/switch to handicaps will be the making of him.

7/2(+13%) | (5) Sky Advocate 7/2, Below form possibly failing to stay beaten 9l in a handicap over 9f at Sandown last time; in good form prior; suited by a mile and a sound surface, can bounce back but perhaps something to prove at this distance Costly to follow but this is his best chance for a while; the only threat to Noble Horizon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

33/1(+50%) | (1) I'd Go Maniac 33/1, Unseated in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Kempton latest; won a bumper 12 months ago interesting debutant in this sphere; Rob Hornby in-form; value selection based on balance of form Good-ground bumper winner; modest in three hurdle runs; best watched on this Flat debut. |

4th (3) (200/1 -100%)Division Day |
200/1(-100%) | (3) Division Day 200/1, Poor debut when last and beaten by 29l over 7.5f at Beverley in June and fair much better last time when third of four and beaten by 15l at Pontefract last time; difficult to fancy Tailed off on debut and well held at Pontefract (1m2f, good) last week; unlikely. |

6th (2) (40/1 +20%)L'air De Panache |
40/1(+20%) | (2) L'air De Panache 40/1, Last of five runners on debut at Kempton and only slightly better when beaten 8l in a novice at Chelmsford last time; yard has been in fair form recently, but hard to recommend this one Fine pedigree but not lived up to that yet; can do better when handicapping over further. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NOBLE HORIZON appears to have been found an excellent opportunity to get his head in front. Despite tasting defeat at odds-on at Newmarket, William Haggas' colt was beaten by a rival who had been touted as a potential Classic contender in the spring and that form is by far the strongest on offer. Sky Advocate appears to be the main threat, but arrives with something to prove after refusing to go into the stalls at Ffos Las. Of the rest, L'air De Panache and Warrior King are capable of better.

Sky Advocate looks the only legitimate threat to NOBLE HORIZON, who's got a good attitude and can gain a well-deserved success.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (7/2 +50%)Sea Of Charm |
7/2(+50%) | (2) Sea Of Charm 7/2, Back to winning ways on third run of the year when scored by 1/2l off 55 at Brighton in May; second beaten 1 1/2l off 57 last time; should go close again here off the same mark Two 1m4f wins since last autumn but shade to prove with a stiff test back at this trip. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (10/1 +50%)Mass Consumption |
10/1(+50%) | (8) Mass Consumption 10/1, 0-17 and best efforts were arguably earlier in career; midfield when beaten by 4l off 48 over 11f at Carlisle last time; Ben Robinson keeps the ride; hard to recommend all things considered Maiden; kept persevering when 5th over 1m3f latest; needs extra to contend. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (20/1 -100%)Muhib |
20/1(-100%) | (5) Muhib 20/1, 0-8; not much form to note thus far in career; made too much use of beaten 9l in a handicap over 10f here last time; cheekpieces first time; off a short-break; bit to find Handicap career started quite promisingly but more to prove now back at 1m4f. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SPARTAN TIMES seems to have turned a corner recently, with a victory over hurdles at Worcester backed up by a brace of successes at Ffos Las. The four-year-old is expected to have more to offer now tackling 1m4f again and is capable of proving too strong for the opposition. Ricardo Phillips has run well on both starts in 2025 and is respected up in trip, while the consistent Sea Of Charm appeals most of the remainder.

Spartan Times goes for a four-timer but is asked a bigger question today and perhaps RICARDO PHILLIPS can catch out the topweight.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having finished second at Yarmouth 20 days ago, ROCK MASTER could be ready to break through. This classified contest looks ripe for the taking and a similar performance from the three-year-old may prove fruitful. Malham Tarn Cove arrives on the back of a respectable third over 5f here and he may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of B Associates.

Sugar Kane can go well but B ASSOCIATES is the interesting one on his second run back with James Owen and returned to 6f.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having been touched off at Wetherby, Bernalda should give another good account of herself off just 1lb higher. However, the daughter of Frankel might prove vulnerable to a couple of the three-year-olds, with handicap debutant MAGICAL IDEA topping the bill. William Haggas' filly arrives on the back of a respectable fourth in a class 2 novice event at Pontefract and an opening mark of 66 could prove lenient. Fallons First is also of interest now stepping up in distance.

It will be disappointing if MAGICAL IDEA (nap) can't handle her opening mark and this step up in trip should be a positive.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (28/1 -40%)Cider Bob |
28/1(-40%) | (8) Cider Bob 28/1, Third beaten 4l at Wolverhampton last month and ran to almost the same level form beaten 4l off 46 over 6f at Bath last time; trainer in form; not out of it all things considered Similar form the last twice in tongue-tie/cheekpieces over shorter; 7f worth a go again. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

My Boy Harry has been running well in classified company recently and is respected back in a handicap, but preference is for TOOTA. A creditable third over the extended 7f at Beverley having encountered traffic problems, the consistent filly could gain a deserved breakthrough success. Keep Talking hasn't shown much so far, but she enters handicaps from a potentially workable mark and might be able to find some improvement.

My Boy Harry (second choice) should give it another good go but TOOTA's form is arguably a fraction stronger and she gets the nod.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Slow starts continue to hinder I CAN BOOGY, but she ran with credit at Beverley latest and is now 2lb lower. Nigel Tinkler's filly was on target off 1lb higher at Redcar in May so is capable of going close if able to break on terms. First-time cheekpieces could eke out a little extra from Desert Beauty, who has shown enough in recent starts to suggest she can play a leading role. Rokuni is another to consider.

I Can Boogy looked on the way back last time but QAAEADD made a fair fist of his first handicap and that's a run he can build on.
Ths is the racecard key.
