Dancing Saxon is a half-sister to two winners including Dancing Gemini, who landed the Group 2 bet365 Mile at Sandown this spring, while Unforgettable Face cost 150,000 euros at the Goffs Orby Sale last autumn and is another newcomer to note along with Red Autumn. Glamazon showed promise on debut at Roscommon, while Innumerable and Sara La Belle are others to consider with previous experience.

INNUMERABLE gets the nod. Stephen Thorne's filly ran with credit behind some smart horses in a pair of maidens to date

SHAKAZIA took a nice step forward from her debut here last autumn when reappearing over a mile at Naas last month. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly had Sindria about four lengths behind when beating all bar Sound Of Lightning and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back to 7f. Lavender Breeze is a half-sister to six winners and the daughter of Kodiac, who cost 120,000 euros as a yearling, won a barrier trial at Naas last month. Eastern Peace showed promise last year including behind Bedtime Story in the Group 2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh but needs to bounce back after disappointing at Fairyhouse last week.

A race that revolves around one horse and if SHAKAZIA can reproduce her recent Naas second, it should be good enough

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

COMANCHE BRAVE won a Cork maiden last year and made a bright start this term when runner-up to subsequent French Guineas winner Henri Matisse in a Group 3 over C&D. He was far from disgraced when fifth to Field Of Gold in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and should appreciate this drop back to 7f. Mutasarref's four course wins include this Group 3 last year and the seven-year-old is holding his form well as evidenced by two placed runs here this season. There is little to choose between Copacabana Sands and One Smack Mac on running at Naas last month, while Royal Zabeel and Cowardofthecounty are others to consider.

The vote goes to Irish 2,000 Guineas fifth COMANCHE BRAVE, whose run behind Field Of Gold in the Classic sets a very high bar

25/1(-25%) | (12) Complete Fiction 25/1, Probably needed race down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Listowel most recent; goes well here; down in trip; just 1lb above last winning mark; outside claims Recent spin over hurdles should have him tuned up and one to consider. |

8th (6) (11/2 +66%)San Aer |
11/2(+66%) | (6) San Aer 11/2, Ran to form beaten 3 1/4l off 82 over 8f at The Curragh last time; up in trip; doesn't look the force of old and could probably do with some rain Came from way back at the Curragh last month; not one to rule out. |

9th (13) (18/1 +10%)Moonlit Mist |
18/1(+10%) | (13) Moonlit Mist 18/1, Below par comfortably held in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Clonmel last time; down in trip; handicapper relenting; sound surface suits; in the mix Clonmel second to Expound last term gives her claims. |

11th (14) (8/1 -60%)Beauty Generation |
8/1(-60%) | (14) Beauty Generation 8/1, Slowly away when landing a handicap by 2 1/4l off 67 over 8f at Kempton last time; up in trip; returning from a break; probably bit to come for new yard but likely to need this back from break AW winner of Marco Botti; previous runs at this trip inconclusive but respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (10) (22/1 +33%)Casanova |
22/1(+33%) | (10) Casanova 22/1, Slowly away down the field in a handicap over 8f at The Curragh most recent; up in trip; off a short-break; appears regressive Return to better ground could spark improvement on recent efforts. |

Last seen in Listed company at the Curragh on Guineas weekend, MASOUN should appreciate this return to calmer waters. A dual winner when in the care of Johnny Murtagh and purchased by current connections for 105,000 euros, he wasn't beaten far when fourth on his penultimate start. A place ahead of the selection on that occasion, Lady Lunette has since disappointed at Gowran, but as a course and distance winner it would come as no surprise if she were able to bounce back. Tipperary winner The Real Screamer, Expound, who seeks a hat-trick having been successful under both codes recently, and UK import Beauty Generation are all sure to have plenty of supporters. It'll be interesting to see how San Aer fares too, after he finished a never-nearer fifth of 18 on his most recent start at the Curragh.

If the ground doesn't dry out, it could pay to side with CATENA ZAPATA, who stayed on nicely at the Curragh recently

6/1(+14%) | (1) Tachos 6/1, Well treated at weights when landing a handicap by 3/4l off 74 here last time; rise in weights offset by jockey's claim; probably bit to come Quick return for last week's C&D winner; 7lb rise negated by rider's claim so big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (11) (20/1 +20%)Moonhall Church |
20/1(+20%) | (11) Moonhall Church 20/1, Beaten 7 1/4l in a nursery over 7f at Galway last time where unsuited by heavy; usually consistent; up in trip; bit to find back from lay off Just okay form in nurseries last year; doesn't appear that well-handicapped on return. |

9th (9) (40/1 -21%)Super Exceed |
40/1(-21%) | (9) Super Exceed 40/1, Raced freely well beaten in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park latest; should come on for that; generally out of form; up in trip; off a short-break; bit to find Underwhelming so far in handicaps and tries a new trip here. |

14/1(-75%) | (5) Summer Snow 14/1, Well treated at weights when landing a handicap by 3l off 65 over 8f here last time; not proven trip; should show some improvement but needs to off revised mark in much better race Recent 1m winner here on a career-high mark now but has to be respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (18) (33/1 -106%)Baltray Lady |
33/1(-106%) | (18) Baltray Lady 33/1, Appeared not to stay down the field in a handicap over 10f here most recent; needed run that day; usually consistent; not proven trip; hard to fancy Well held on last week's return here over 1m2f; may need more time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (2) (11/1 -22%)Pink Oxalis |
11/1(-22%) | (2) Pink Oxalis 11/1, Scored by 4l off 72 over 8f at Gowran Park penultimate start; fourth beaten 4 1/2l off 80 last time; handicapper looks to be catching up Left with fair bit to do over today's trip at Gowran; so remains of interest. |

16/1(+0%) | (10) Tiscommonknowledge 16/1, Probably needed race fourth beaten 5 1/2l in a handicap over 10f here latest; cheekpieces first time; down in trip; best form on easier ground; up against it Promising comeback run here last month; cheekpieces added and could feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (17) (50/1 -52%)Pink Socks |
50/1(-52%) | (17) Pink Socks 50/1, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap here most recent; inconsistent; versatile ground wise; touch more required Never counted on last week's C&D comeback run and possibly best watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (12) (11/2 +39%)Auburn Avenue |
11/2(+39%) | (12) Auburn Avenue 11/2, Back to form beaten 1 1/4l off 63 over 8f at The Curragh last time; step up in trip could suit; versatile ground wise; chance Recent Curragh third puts her in the mix. |

It might be worth taking a chance on TISCOMMONKNOWLEDGE in this fiercely competitive affair. A solid fourth on her return to action here last month, first-time cheekpieces could spark some improvement. Tachos went up 7lb for winning over this course and distance last week, although Sam Coen is able to negate that rise with his claim. Sure to have plenty of supporters, it would come as no surprise if the Dermot Weld-trained four-year-old were to go close. Summer Snow and Thrifty Of Digby are others bidding to back up recent wins, and it will be interesting to see how handicap debutant Shaool fares. A beaten-favourite on her penultimate start at Roscommon, cheekpieces are now deployed.

Last week's C&D comeback winner TACHOS makes a quick return and can follow up, with Sam Coen's claim offsetting her 7lb penalty

11/1(+45%) | (4) Obama Army 11/1, Appeared not to stay down the field in a handicap over 1m5f at Navan most recent; should come on for the run; down in trip; form going the wrong way No show on yard debut last month at Navan, entitled to come on for that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (9/1 -50%)Starting Monday |
9/1(-50%) | (2) Starting Monday 9/1, Probably needed race fourth beaten 5 1/2l in a handicap over 8f at Limerick latest; up in trip; top jockey back on board; very well treated on best form; could do with some rain but big chance if getting it Long losing run but encouraging comeback run; could be approaching a competitive mark. |

7/1(+0%) | (1) El Bello 7/1, Beaten 4l off 60 over 7f at Listowel last time where hinted at better; up in trip; has dropped a long way in weights; interesting at a price Not beaten far of late over 7f; worth a try at this longer trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (17) (11/1 +45%)Vovatia |
11/1(+45%) | (17) Vovatia 11/1, Below par comfortably held in a handicap over 10f at Ballinrobe last time; yet to deliver on 2yo promise; plenty to do Yet to make her mark in handicaps and unlikely here from 5lb out of handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (16) (12/1 +64%)Lisabetta |
12/1(+64%) | (16) Lisabetta 12/1, Yard won this last year; below par comfortably held in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park last time; generally out of form; up in trip; hard to make a case for Long losing run, including twice at Gowran this term, mildly encouraging effort latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (13) (33/1 -32%)Gatsby Cap |
33/1(-32%) | (13) Gatsby Cap 33/1, Below par beaten 9l in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park last time; in good form on AW prior; up in trip; needs to prove as effective on this surface Recent form ordinary, not sure this longer trip will bring about the required improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (7) (11/2 +0%)Saxon Kingdom |
11/2(+0%) | (7) Saxon Kingdom 11/2, Landed a handicap by a neck off 45 over 8f at Gowran Park last time; that good form; consistent; contender Progressing off low base of late; 5lb rise for Gowran win so more needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (3) (10/1 +29%)Ledger |
10/1(+29%) | (3) Ledger 10/1, Raced freely beaten 3 1/2l off 58 over 8f at Gowran Park last time; up in trip; just 1lb above last winning mark; should come on for recent stable debut; outside chance Encouraging enough return at Gowran recently should have brought him on. |

Down to a career low mark of 59, EL BELLO might be able to defy top-weight in this competitive affair. Third on his two starts at the Curragh earlier this season, he did well to finish seventh when drawn widest of all on his penultimate outing. While disappointing at Listowel latest, he could redeem himself. Harbanaker and Saxon Kingdom are both bidding to follow up on their recent wins, with the former successful over course and distance from 5lb lower in April. Beaten by a neck in a 20-runner Naas contest last time, Roderick is sure to have plenty of supporters with Shane Foley aboard, while others for the shortlist are Starting Monday and three-time course and distance winner Smaoineamh Sile.

Naas second RODERICK should stay this longer trip and can score despite a wide draw again

10/1(+0%) | (7) Master Garvey 10/1, Well treated at weights when scored by 1/2l off 47 over 8f at Dundalk in March; 11th beaten 11l off 50 last time; down in trip; others more reliable Best form at up to 1m; down in trip from recent runs but opposable. |

7th (14) (4/1 +60%)Famous Enough |
4/1(+60%) | (14) Famous Enough 4/1, Well backed beaten 3l off 40 over 8f at Gowran Park last time; running back into form; up in trip; bit to find Gowran runs suggest he'll appreciate this trip; could go well at likely decent odds. |

50/1(-52%) | (16) Wonderwalk 50/1, Did not get a clear run down the field in a handicap over 1m5f at Tipperary most recent where needed run; in good form prior; down in trip; bit to find No impact so far at big prices; drop in trip could suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (18/1 +64%)Pegula |
18/1(+64%) | (12) Pegula 18/1, Yard won this last year; beaten 9 1/2l in a handicap over 8f at Thurles last time; generally out of form; up in trip; easy to look elsewhere Promising seasonal reappearance over C&D last summer; runs well fresh so don't rule out. |

DOLCE FAR NIENTE appeared to win with a bit in hand when able to shed the maiden tag at Fairyhouse on Friday. She must shoulder a penalty for that success, but the daughter of Zoffany still looks competitively handicapped. Deuteronomy was another to belatedly get off the mark recently and a subsequent 7lb rise should be no barrier to further success for the Robbie Burns-trained six-year-old. A runner-up on her second start in handicap company, Academe is open to further improvement, while Famous Enough, Cleopatra's Needle, Still She Blooms and Sayfa Fad are others to consider.

Reportedly in-foal, last week's Fairyhouse winner DOLCE FAR NIENTE (nap) is taken to follow-up despite a high draw
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
