DE TEMPS EN TEMPS disappointed badly when last seen in February, but is capable of much better and now returns following a break. Runner-up in a point-to-point and the winner of a useful Fairyhouse bumper, he tired badly on his most recent start but reverts to a suitably sounder surface in this winnable race. Ifallgoeswell disappointed at Killarney earlier this month and while he had previously shown form, he has been frustrating to follow. Couldntmakeitup was well beaten by the winner when finishing second at Kilbeggan recently and needs to improve.

Another chance is given to DE TEMPS EN TEMPS who looked a nice prospect in winning his bumper.

KEEP UP has shown good ability in bumpers and will be ready on jumps debut. From a useful French family, she defeated a subsequent winner on her Roscommon introduction last August and while then beaten 16 lengths into fifth at Listed level in October, that Gowran race was smart and she finished a long way ahead of the other runners. One of those was Cameletta Vega, who earlier this month defeated Emily Love to score at Cork. Emily Love has recent hurdling form, though, which is a big help, but lacks the selection's ability. Galway Festival bumper winner Fortunate Lighting failed to recover after being badly hampered at Wexford and is capable of better.

Keep Up brings potential into her hurdles career but EMILY LOVE (nap) has the benefit of jumps experience and that could be crucial

SHARETHEKNOWLEDGE has run two consistent races at this level recently and should again compete. He initially showed some promise in a May 2023 point-to-point, finished second in a maiden hurdle last year and was touched off wearing a first-time tongue-tie at Clonmel a fortnight ago. Faceman, out of top racemare Solerina, debuts in handicaps on his first run since December. His initial form last autumn reads well in the context of this ordinary handicap and while beaten long distances on his two most recent hurdle attempts, now returns following a break. The Striker Dylan flopped on a recent Sligo reappearance, but has proven form at this level and now wears first-time cheekpieces.

SHARETHEKNOWLEDGE is one of very few that comes into this race in any sort of form and he may be able to shed the maiden tag.

QUINN THE ESKIMO is well related and can continue to progress. A half-brother to four winners, including a German Group 3 scorer, he was well beaten in three maiden hurdles but showed promise at Fairyhouse in April before tasting success at Down Royal 24 days ago. He is 7lb higher, but defeated plenty of rivals and is well suited by a sound surface. Tir Og has recent form and while the selection has stronger credentials, she is just a four-year-old so can continue to improve. Hob's Angel hung left when showing improvement at Tramore last month, but is nonetheless an exposed 12-race maiden.

MASSABIELLE ran well over C&D last October, she's just 1lb higher now and she should improve for her last run after a break.

11/2(+31%) | (2) Half A Chance 11/2, Ran to form beaten 6 1/2l in a handicap hurdle over 2m2f at Kilbeggan last time given far too much to do; longer trip and stiffer track a plus; course winner; claims obvious Only his second run in a handicap when beaten about 6l last time at Kilbeggan. |

8th (13) (14/1 0%)O' Bon Pardon |
14/1(0%) | (13) O' Bon Pardon 14/1, Below par down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m4f at Thurles most recent; usually consistent; blinkers first time; off a short-break; touch more required One of his maiden efforts reads well and blinkers now applied for handicap debut. |

9th (7) (17/2 +29%)Onefortheditch |
17/2(+29%) | (7) Onefortheditch 17/2, Probably needed race well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Cork latest; in good form prior; top jockey back on board; each way claims Consistent mare with the form to feature and could strip fitter for her latest run. |

10th (8) (10/1 +60%)Reflectionist |
10/1(+60%) | (8) Reflectionist 10/1, Below par down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Fairyhouse most recent where ground too testing; generally out of form; C&D winner in 2023; very interesting back on better ground Dual winner in 2023 but nowhere near the same form since returning from an absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (33/1 -32%)Monroes Hollow |
33/1(-32%) | (12) Monroes Hollow 33/1, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Cork most recent; not given a hard time that day; generally out of form; not proven trip; opposed Beaten when falling on handicap debut and then ran moderately at Cork. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (6) (14/1 +0%)Happy Me |
14/1(+0%) | (6) Happy Me 14/1, Probably outclassed down the field in an auction hurdle at Punchestown most recent; good mark on maiden form; in the mix Two maiden efforts during the winter were encouraging with a view to this sort of mark. |

LONG GONE may be able to make a winning start in handicap company. The Getaway mare did well to score over an extended two miles around Tramore and should appreciate going a bit further now. A mark of 110 doesn't look harsh as there is scope for a bit more improvement from her. Shadow Paddy also comes here in winning form and has to be respected. He left previous form well behind at Tipperary just over two weeks ago and got an 8lb hike for that victory. Rut Daniels, an easy winner of a maiden hurdle here back in November, is another relatively unexposed sort who has to be on the shortlist.

Wide open. The suggestion is ONEFORTHEDITCH who may have needed her comeback race and she's likeably consistent in the main.

|PU| (15) (14/1 +72%)Hitthehayson |
14/1(+72%) | (15) Hitthehayson 14/1, Ran to form down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Down Royal most recent; up in trip; yet to prove up to this mark; best watched Shaped okay when fifth at Tramore but poor twice since, longer trip needs to transform. |

Stepping up in trip may help the well-bred JEKIKI and there looks to be a race in her off this kind of mark. The Soldier Of Fortune mare, who is out of a half-sister to Jezki, showed up better at Clonmel last time when plugging on to finish fifth and stretches out over a couple of furlongs further now. It's Time Again was a game winner at Ballinrobe on her return to action last month and is entitled to play a big part again after just a 5lb rise. Kiln Time is consistent at a low level and could be one for a place.

WEST OF CARRIG was a beaten favourite when not getting home over 3m1f latest but he might be able to make amends dropped back in trip

125/1(-150%) | (6) Champagne Melanie 125/1, Below par comfortably held in a bumper over 2m2f at Sligo last time; plenty more needed Tailed off in bumpers here and at Sligo, when 150-1 and 66-1 respectively. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (14/1 +58%)Clash Of Wings |
14/1(+58%) | (7) Clash Of Wings 14/1, Wings Of Eagles mare; small yard without a winner this year; best watched Eighth foal; dam unraced half-sister to smart 2m3f-3m hurdle/chase winner Invictus. |

The obvious starting point is the Willie Mullins-trained FORTY KAY and it would be no surprise if she was good enough to make a winning debut. The No Risk At All mare cost just 11,000 pounds as a store and is out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Dilshaan. Emmet Mullins' newcomer Barra Rua is another to note. The Camelot mare is a half-sister to Grade 1-winning chaser Coney Island. Betty Mo Chara shaped nicely when fourth on her debut here last month and may be the pick of those to have run.

A modest bumper. FORTY KAY isn't wildly appealing on pedigree and only cost £11,000 as a 3yo, but she's in the right yard.
Ths is the racecard key.
