100/1(-100%) | (4) Elman 100/1, Finished down the field in a maiden at Gowran Park last time; returning from a short break and is hard to recommend. Unplaced in three runs for Johnny Murtagh, hurdle debut on first start since being gelded. |

BERTUTEA showed promise on both hurdle starts at Auteuil earlier in the year and could prove a tough nut to crack on his first appearance for Willie Mullins. Mode Avion is entitled to step forward from his Punchestown third and can enter the reckoning along with Kilmeaden, a winner on the Flat at the Galway Festival who ended the season rated 91.

No doubt BERTUTEA will come on from this first run since April, but he had two good runs at Auteuil in the spring and may be too classy

LAURETS D'ESTRUVAL finished second on his only outing to date at Pau last December and may prove to be yet another exciting Closutton recruit as the champion trainer begins to take the wraps off some of his better novice hurdle prospects. Ravendark is likely to progress from his debut third at Fairyhouse, while others to note include Starting Fifteen and Le Roi Du Livet.

Laurets D'estruval is greatly feared, but STARTING FIFTEEN is selected to serve it up to him having run well here last time

KATIE DANIELS is the one to beat on the evidence of a really impressive Fairyhouse maiden hurdle success. Now sent handicapping for the first time, the former point-to-point scorer looks well treated off 110 and should have more improvement in her. Carried With Love has been running well without winning and must enter calculations, while Cousin Kate is another with solid form claims.

Left with a fair bit to do at Tramore last time, COUSIN KATE made late headway to take third and has a win in her off this mark.

Had been in good form before; effective at 2m4f and may yet improve. Fair hurdler for Nicky Henderson but finished last on stable debut latest. |

MOUDAN was a close-up third in a beginners' chase at Clonmel earlier this month and could be hard to beat with another step forward on his handicap debut over fences. Anotherway was fifth in a race that has the potential to work out well and he also warrants close inspection in the betting, while Ad Caelum is back at a more winnable level after finding life tough in a Grade 2 at Cork most recently.

With the proviso that he could easily fall at any time, MOUDAN is capable of taking this with a clear round

66/1(-100%) | (14) Dontdooddson 66/1, Poor chase return when well beaten in a Naas handicap chase last time. Effective at 2m and handles any going but best on good ground. In moderate form. Veteran won a modest h'cap in the summer but this is a step above that and 12lb wrong. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (12/1 -300%)Stoneyford Lady |
12/1(-300%) | (7) Stoneyford Lady 12/1, Ran to form when landing a Thurles handicap by 4 1/4l off a 7lb lower mark last time. Effective from 2m to 2m2f and acts on soft or good ground. Consistent and has another respected chance. Won 2nd chase start last time; 7lb rise not beyond her but slight question as to ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (9/2 +50%)Dream In The Park |
9/2(+50%) | (1) Dream In The Park 9/2, Won this race last year; ran to form when fourth, beaten 14l, in a Thurles handicap chase last time. Effective from 2m to 2m6f on soft ground and can go well again. Last year's winner off 106 doesn't look obviously well-treated on recent efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (40/1 -43%)Road To The Weir |
40/1(-43%) | (13) Road To The Weir 40/1, Ran to form but outclassed on chase debut when comfortably held in a Thurles beginners' chase last time. Yet to show anything of note under rules. No wins from 12 but took third at this venue in Nov' last year; tailed off last twice. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (13/2 +7%)Doyen Magic |
13/2(+7%) | (10) Doyen Magic 13/2, Improved when scoring with plenty in hand in a handicap here by 4l off a 5lb lower mark last time. Effective from 2m to 2m5f on soft ground. In form and has another good chance. Winner of h'cap chase off 87 in summer and hurdles winner here latest; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (33/1 +0%)Teescomponentsyess |
33/1(+0%) | (5) Teescomponentsyess 33/1, Too bad to be true when finishing down the field in a Fairyhouse handicap hurdle last time. Enjoys making the running and effective at 2m4f on soft ground. Well treated on old chase form but must prove ability remains after a layoff. Tailed off on return from lengthy absence last time and best watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (50/1 -52%)Knockbrack Rambler |
50/1(-52%) | (9) Knockbrack Rambler 50/1, Outpaced and needed the run on chase debut when down the field in a Clonmel handicap chase last time. Effective around 2m4f and acts on testing ground but remains inconsistent. Bagged second hurdles here last year; lost form since, tailed off in completed starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (66/1 -100%)Little Mixup |
66/1(-100%) | (8) Little Mixup 66/1, Found little when down the field in a Clonmel handicap chase last time. Effective at 2m on soft ground but has been out of form over hurdles and fences for some time. Four-time hurdles winner has very off-putting chase form. |

STONEYFORD LADY was a convincing winner over fences at Thurles last month and a 7lb higher mark looks well within her compass on just her third start in this discipline. Happy Dreams and Doyen Magic have been in good form over hurdles lately and both revert to the larger obstacles with solid claims in a race heavy on numbers but lacking in those with convincing recent chasing form. Dream In The Park won this off 5lb lower last year and cannot be ruled out from having another big say.

Four-time chase winner HAPPY DREAMS (nap) returns to this sphere following two quality hurdle runs and can bag another win

2nd (12) (28/1 -273%)Think It Through |

14/1(-17%) | (6) Nan's Choice 14/1, An €8,000 Getaway filly from a family that has produced bumper winners, though she is probably best watched on debut. From a family that produces bumper winners; eyecatching jockey booking; check the market. |

5th (14) (7/1 +7%)Walking Saint |
7/1(+7%) | (14) Walking Saint 7/1, Showed some promise on debut though well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Navan; switches to a bumper now and cannot be ruled out for a respected yard. Ran respectably on debut in a strong Navan maiden h'dle; should have improved since; noted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (14/1 -75%)Soldierstown |
14/1(-75%) | (10) Soldierstown 14/1, Made a moderate hurdles debut when well beaten in a maiden at Fairyhouse last time; effective from 2m2f to 2m4f and acts on soft or good ground; has a chance back in a bumper. Disappointing in a maiden hurdle last time but could be involved if getting back to best. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (17/2 +15%)Musique Des Champs |
17/2(+15%) | (5) Musique Des Champs 17/2, Ran to form but was well beaten in a mares' bumper at Cork last time; effective at 2m on good ground but needs plenty more. Has shown some ability in a UK bumper UK and on debut for this yard; needs a fair bit more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (13) (7/4 +22%)Torpille Dagrostis |
7/4(+22%) | (13) Torpille Dagrostis 7/4, Bit below her best when 3l third in a ladies' bumper at Tramore last time; effective at 2m and acts with cut; holds a fair chance again. Beaten favourite last twice and vulnerable again for all that she is likely to be involved. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (4) (16/1 -14%)Little Ivy |
16/1(-14%) | (4) Little Ivy 16/1, Improved but was comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown last time; effective at 2m and acts on heavy; needs more back in a bumper. Last time was an improvement but is still likely to find several too strong today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (10/3 +17%)Storm Queen |
10/3(+17%) | (11) Storm Queen 10/3, Made a promising debut when winning by 5 1/2l in a maiden point at Dromahane; effective at 3m in points and has a good chance on rules debut. Point winner faces much softer ground on bumper bow but is a player if handling it. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (80/1 -400%)Quiet In Bresil |
80/1(-400%) | (9) Quiet In Bresil 80/1, A £2,500 Blue Bresil mare whose dam was well beaten in points but is related to a hurdles and chase winner; looks an unlikely winner on debut. Sold out of Gordon Elliott's yard for only GBP2,500 earlier this year; likely best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (3) (200/1 -100%)Lady Hotham |
200/1(-100%) | (3) Lady Hotham 200/1, The yard won this last year but she has yet to show any real ability and it is easy to see why she ranks among the outsiders. Beaten a long way in two bumpers and makes no appeal for the moment. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (1) (200/1 -60%)Beautiful Beauty |
200/1(-60%) | (1) Beautiful Beauty 200/1, Another poor run when pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Cork last time; has no worthwhile form and looks hard to fancy. Little sign of promise in a bumper in 2024 and two maiden hurdles lately; look elsewhere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (8) (200/1 -203%)Pegasuslane |
200/1(-203%) | (8) Pegasuslane 200/1, A Wings Of Eagles mare who looks an unlikely winner on debut. Not a bad pedigree but is likely to improve from this debut. |

STORM QUEEN impressed when making all to win her point-to-point at Dromahane in April by over five lengths and may take plenty of catching on her debut under Rules. Think It Through also won her sole point-to-point before disappointing at Naas in a bumper but she could do better with that run under her belt, while Torpille Dagrostis is another capable of being in the mix.

WALKING SAINT wasn't beaten far in a strong Navan maiden hurdle on debut and this is less competitive.
Ths is the racecard key.
