13:00 Lingfield (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having justified favouritism at Southwell recently, Wonder merits respect in his follow-up bid. However, a 4lb higher mark does demand more of the five-year-old and his previous conqueror DAMASCUS STEEL may prove too tough. Denis Quinn's charge was far from disgraced when foiled in his hat-trick bid at Wolverhampton last time out and a 1lb nudge up in the ratings looks workable. Charlie's Choice also arrives in here in good heart and is a feasible alternative.

Recent winners CHARLIE'S CHOICE and Wonder may be the pair to focus on, with narrow preference for the former.

13:30 Lingfield (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having opened his account at the fifth time of asking, Wolverhampton winner Arishka's Dream is still open to improvement. The son of Dream Ahead may not enjoy such an easy time out in front, though, with preference for fellow handicap debutant ESCAPE PLAN. Tom Ward's inmate found only a horse now rated 97 too good at Dunstall Park when last seen in September and an official rating of 69 could prove lenient. Mister Moet is the pick of the remainder.

Topweight ARISHKA'S DREAM got his act together at Wolverhampton 12 days ago and may follow up.

14:05 Lingfield (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CAPTAIN FOX finished a respectable third on his final outing as a juvenile at Newmarket and an official rating of 81 suggests that he could be tough to beat in novice company. Although his wellbeing has to be taken on trust, Richard Hughes' inmate edges the vote over a race-fit Sovereign Bay. The New Bay gelding offered plenty to work with on his debut second at Newcastle and he's likely to be involved once more, along with Kokushoku.

If CAPTAIN FOX reproduces his 2yo form he's the one to beat, although Sovereign Bay is likely to press him if building on his debut.

14:35 Lingfield (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

RICHIE'S ROCKET shaped with plenty of promise first time out in what looks a hot Newmarket maiden (three in behind have won since) and took a forward step when winning by nine lengths over C&D in November. Still keen and showing signs of greenness that day, he is likely to have improved further during his time away from the track and a bold is anticipated on his reappearance. Sir Albert was only beaten half a length at this level on his penultimate outing and should go close if able to reproduce that level of performance, while Bella Lyra also holds solid claims in a competitive event.

Bella Lyra has more to give over 7f but RICHIE'S ROCKET (nap) bolted up over C&D in November, looking a good prospect for 2026.

HOW'S THE GUVNOR could give weight and a beating to these rivals. Jennie Candlish's charge has been running consistently well for a number of months and the form of his recent close-up fourth at Wolverhampton looks rock solid, especially with both the second and third winning since. He steps down in class and makes slightly more appeal than Profit Street, who backed up his C&D success with a narrow defeat over 6f here on Wednesday. Poke The Bear and King David both have each-way claims.

The form of his latest Wolverhampton fourth has been franked and HOW'S THE GUVNOR can register his third win of the year.

15:52 Lingfield (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Royal Jet has won four of his last five appearances and must enter calculations, but narrow preference is for U S S CONSTITUTION. Back with Ed Walker following a two-year stint in Hong Kong, the six-year-old returned with an impressive victory over this trip at Kempton earlier in the month and he looks more than capable of defying a 7lb rise. My Boy Harry hasn't done too much wrong since the blinkers were fitted and he could make the frame once more.

The way in which U S S CONSTITUTION picked up from off the pace to win at Kempton suggests he can cope with a 7lb rise.

17:05 Lingfield (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

King's Hand beat Tommy's Promise by just over a length over track and trip last month and has since switched to the Joseph Parr stable, so he is one to keep an eye on. Miss Herschel is worth a second look on just her second outing in handicap company, but OMAN gets the nod. The eight-year-old has occupied the runner-up berth the last twice, most recently at Wolverhampton, and can continue his good form.

King's Hand and Tommy's Promise are closely matched but this could be run to suit OMAN and he gets the nod in a trappy race.
