14:12 Lingfield (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having returned at an SP of 80/1 when scoring over C&D last month, Under The Sun shouldn't be underestimated in his follow-up bid. However, the five-year-old was well positioned that day and he may be worth taking on with the lightly-raced BALOO'S BLUES, who arrives on the back of a staying-on second over a mile at Kempton and this step up in distance could be the making of him. Pleasant Man is a feasible alternative.

One Million Dreams is respected back on the Flat but BRONTE BEACH is given another chance to confirm the promise of her Kempton run.

14:42 Lingfield (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WISETANCK built on a promising second-placed stable bow over C&D when opening his account at Wolverhampton earlier this month. A 3lb nudge up the ratings for Richard Hughes' colt looks workable and another bold bid is forecast. Sands of Seve proved a different proposition in a first-time visor at Dunstall Park, although a 9lb hike from the assessor demands more. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from Far Too Fizzy.

All six runners are of interest but WISETANCK (nap) powered home at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and he can make light of his 3lb rise.

LTO Selection:

15:12 Lingfield (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SERGEANT PEP did little wrong when dead-heating for third in a competitive class 4 at Newcastle last month and he looks ready for another crack at 7f. The six-year-old remains 4lb below his last winning mark and a sixth career victory may be on the cards. Metallo found himself too far back at Wolverhampton and, despite this trip looking on the sharp side, cannot be written off. Dandy Khan is the pick of the remainder.

Two defeats in Dubai this year shouldn't be held against ONE MORE and last season's progressive AW form makes him of serious interest.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MIGHTY VEGA was only beaten a neck into second over 6f at Newcastle last week and he makes plenty of appeal off the same mark. Okiru also occupied the runner-up berth on his most recent outing and could prove to be the main threat, especially as first-time cheekpieces may bring out some improvement from him. Others to note are Yachtsman and Pretty Danielle.

ObsidianVerse should do better this year but BECAUSE WE CAN appeals as being well treated if he can just begin to settle better.

THUNDERHOOF displayed plenty of promise when a close third over this trip at Southwell on his debut last month and Harry Eustace's gelding could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. Similar comments apply to Stella Lucente, although her lack of a recent run is a slight concern, while any market support for Scheffler would have to be noted.

Montague Menace and Stella Lucente should go well but THUNDERHOOF can build on his promising debut third.

16:42 Lingfield (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Secret Road made a winning stable debut for Laura Mongan over C&D earlier this month and is respected from 5lb higher, but ROYAL JET might be too strong. Tony Carroll's charge put a lacklustre Chelmsford effort behind him to score narrowly over 7f here last week and, with a return to the mile in his favour, he could defy a penalty. Stable companion Youarenotforgiven is also penalised for a cosy Wolverhampton success, but nine-year-old Always Fearless may be a bigger threat.

A competitive race in which SECRET ROAD is suggested in his bid to make it 2-2 for Laura Mongan. Youarenotforgiven is next best.

17:17 Lingfield (Class 6) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FORGLEN made it three wins from his last four when on target in an apprentice contest over 1m6f at Southwell a fortnight ago. Ryan Kavanagh, who retains the ride, is able to claim 5lb aboard the gelding this time around and, given the rate at which he is improving, this looks another fine opportunity. Sullivan Bay built on an encouraging return to go agonisingly close at Chelmsford and must be considered along with Sneaky Blinder, who arrives having won over the extended 2m at Wolverhampton recently.

The progressive 5yo FORGLEN appears to be the type who only just does enough to get the job done, and he can complete the hat-trick.
