14:30 Lingfield (Class 6) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

QUEENSLAND BOY bolted up at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and is very hard to oppose as he does not have to carry a penalty for that success in an apprentice race, meaning he is 8lb well-in. Smith hit the crossbar over C&D a month ago and could fill second place once again here, although Balgowan and Sydney Seabreeze are others who are capable of going well.

Balgowan finally got off the mark last time but QUEENSLAND BOY (nap) escapes a penalty for his Wolverhampton win and can follow up.

15:00 Lingfield (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PROMETEO was well beaten on his seasonal return at Newbury, but he was progressive last season and ought to step forward with that run under his belt. Warren Fentiman eases the burden with his handy 5lb claim and, dropped into claiming company, Marco Botti's charge should prove difficult to beat. Rogue Soldier is rated 13lb inferior but looks to be the main threat. Market support for Encourager, who returns from a 591-day absence, would be noteworthy.

With Encourager very tricky to weigh up after his long absence, this looks best left to useful handicapper PROMETEO.

15:30 Lingfield (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MISS HERSCHEL displayed plenty of promise when third on her debut over a mile here in December and Andrew Balding's filly merits the utmost respect with the benefit of that experience behind her. Cloaks Of Gold has a similar profile to the selection and should not be underestimated. Silver Chamber and Knickerbocker are others with valid form claims, while any market support for Glint Of Light should be noted.

Top of the list is MISS HERSCHEL, who kept on well for third in what has turned out to be a good 1m novice here in December.

16:00 Lingfield (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Headmaster is a fascinating newcomer for powerful connections being a son of three-time Prix de la Foret heroine One Master and any market confidence should be noted. However, POLYGRAM looks to be improving all the time and her recent second at Newcastle suggested she is likely to get off the mark sooner rather than later. Elarak has the potential to step forward from his debut at Newmarket in October.

This can go to POLYGRAM who pulled clear with another promising filly at Newcastle last time and can get off the mark.

16:30 Lingfield (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ANCIENT STATE emerged with plenty of credit, despite only managing fourth here last time, because he was slowly away before pulling too hard and then meeting traffic problems. There is more to come from him off this mark and, providing he gets luck in-running, he ought to go very close. Rogue Endeavour made a pleasing stable debut for Grace Harris when fourth at Salisbury and warrants respect off a 1lb lower figure. Atherstone Beau also has a squeak in first-time cheekpieces.

Ancient State warrants respect but CASTELLINA is well related and is taken to build on her encouraging handicap debut.

17:05 Lingfield (Class 6) 4f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Over Spiced would have 3lb less for future races as she carries a 6lb penalty for winning at Chepstow. Although she can still go well from stall one, STEP ALONG was only a length and a half adrift in third last week and is 6lb better off, plus the 3lb Connor Planas claims from the saddle, which may be enough to turn the form around. Dreambird Dolly needs to bounce back to her best, but may still claim the minor placing.

Over Spiced had the benefit of the stand rail when winning at Chepstow and STEP ALONG can reverse the placings on 6lb better terms.
