17:58 Lingfield (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PERSIAN PHOENIX had little difficulty justifying favouritism in Jersey last month and she makes plenty of appeal returning to these shores. Archie Watson's filly had previously posted a solid third at Southwell and, racing off the same mark, a reproduction of that effort may prove sufficient. The biggest danger might emerge in the shape of dual C&D winner Dubai Harbour, who was too keen over 2m here a fortnight ago. Fravanco is another to consider.

The vote goes to PERSIAN PHOENIX, who won under Brodie Hampson in Jersey last month and that was after two good runs on AW.

18:38 Lingfield (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having found only smart prospect Rogue Supremacy too strong at Wetherby earlier this month, VLAD is likely to prove a warm order to open his account. The Simon & Ed Crisford-trained colt sets a clear standard on his two runner-up efforts to date and is difficult to oppose. Orange Emperor offered something to work with when fourth on debut at Goodwood and may claim the silver medal, with Grand Echo the pick of the remainder.

This looks a golden opportunity for VLAD, who has finished runner-up behind odds-on rivals in both his runs and sets a clear standard.

19:10 Lingfield (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Moutai improved for the switch to handicap company when finishing third over an extended 1m at Hamilton last month. However, the son of Hello Youmzain isn't certain to stay this distance and NIGHT STEP rates as the most solid proposition. Owen Burrows' gelding lost little in defeat when runner-up behind a progressive rival at Leicester and a 2lb nudge up the ratings could prove to be lenient. Arizona Rock is also noted in first-time blinkers.

The selection is RAEDWALD (nap) who is bred to relish this longer trip on handicap debut.

Royal Accord and Woodhay Whisper both have solid credentials based on their form over 6f, but are stepping into the unknown with regards to tackling this additional yardage. With that in mind, it could be worth siding with MUY MUY LOCO, who just ran out of steam over a mile when third at Brighton most recently and dropping back down to 7f looks well worth another try on the face value of that run.

This can go to LINEAR SPIRIT who should appreciate the return to this trip and is open to improvement now switched to a handicap.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KESSAAR POWER was second to an in-form rival at Chelmsford last week and appears to be the most logical option as that form has been boosted by the winner going in again since. C&D scorer Vitalline is also capable of a bold showing at this level and rates the chief danger, while Shot Of Love and Fai Fai hold solid each-way prospects based on their past exploits.

Kessaar Power and No Gain can feature but VITALLINE could be the answer now dropped to a 0-50 classified event.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Handicap debutant DUBAI TREASURE boasts a stellar pedigree and is hard to see beyond, despite this being only her fourth career start. Last seen when making all for a cosy success in a maiden at Wolverhampton last July, the daughter of Exceed And Excel won't need much of a step forward to justify the faith shown by Godolphin by keeping her in training. White Crown Star's recent third at York reads well and he also looks a key player. Ultrasoul is the pick of the rest.

The handicap newcomers Dubai Treasure and Ultrasoul need a close look but slight preference is for WHITE CROWN STAR.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
