Having returned to form with a respectable third at Chelmsford last month, this could prove a suitable opportunity for PENN AVENUE to open her account. The daughter of Mohaather shouldn't have any issue reverting to turf and makes grand appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Solid recent form is thin on the ground, with handicap debutants Lilac Wine and Good Shot also noted.

A chance is taken on AL BAAREZ, who is unexposed and made a good turf debut when beaten just over 1l at Windsor ten days ago.

Miss Dandylion supplemented a close-up second at Brighton with a breakthrough victory there last month. Jamie Osborne's filly must enter calculations off 3lb higher, although she must prove her stamina going up in trip. With that in mind, EDVARD GRIEG rates a more solid proposition after scoring with something in hand over 1m4f at Beverley recently. Monkmoor Pip is also noted.

Only four of these can be seriously fancied and EDVARD GRIEG (nap), who has no issues with turf or this trip, is the most solid option.

A 6lb rise from the assessor looks manageable for David Simcock's progressive three-year-old and he's fancied to double his tally. Last month's Bath fourth Cherry Cola lurks on a dangerous mark and could be ready to strike. She is feared most, ahead of Charles Morin.

Recent winning hurdler Silk And Steel has possibilities but CAPTAIN BRETT looks more than capable of finding another race.

First-time cheekpieces may eke out some improvement in Saeculamation, who makes his nursery debut, while Redditizio is another expected to go well off a light weight. This is a tricky puzzle for punters to solve and, with that in mind, only a tentative vote goes to SHETAKESTHEGOLD, who showed some promise on her three runs to date and is likely to step forward following a two-month absence.

None of the five have been involved in a finish and SAECULAMATION is just a tentative choice ahead of Shetakesthegold.

COMMAND THE STARS is the obvious place to start as he won one of these really well at Beverley last month. He improved from his Haydock introduction and likely has more to come, so should go very close despite having to concede weight all round. Armstrong represents a shrewd yard on debut and is a potential fly in the ointment for supporters of the selection, while Arjack is another to bear in mind.

The two newcomers are interesting but COMMAND THE STARS gets the vote to shrug off his penalty for Beverley.

ALL WAYS GLAMOROUS comfortably took care of his nearest rival by just over three lengths to make it two wins from his last three starts at Chepstow last time. The son of Cable Bay is now 10lb higher but, considering the manner of his latest triumph, he remains the one to beat. Amestris filled the runner-up spot in this grade at Haydock last month and is noted along with The Thames Boatman.

This is far from overloaded with early speed and May's C&D winner SO SMART could be the way to go.
