Green Dame looks solid to go well but DAVVY showed a good attitude when a close third at Kempton and can add to his turf wins.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Despite showing signs of greenness, ORACLE MISSION made a decent start to his career when third over C&D and Harry Eustace's gelding is expected to have sharpened up from that initial experience. Five Cay looks capable of being in the mix following his first appearance over 6f at Newcastle, while That's Enough and All Worthwhile appeal most of the newcomers.

Oracle Mission ran well over C&D on debut and is respected but FIVE CAY also displayed ability at Newcastle and is preferred.

Suited by 8f and a sound surface, and a return to the all-weather may suit. Course winner; good mark on peak form and a wind op since last seen could give him a lift. |

18/1(-177%) | (8) Thiscouldbefun 18/1, Best form since spring, scoring with a bit in hand when landing a handicap by 2 1/4l off 64 here last time. Trainer in form. 16/1(+20%) | (7) Riyadh Gem 16/1, Below form when beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap at Kempton last time. Effective 8–10f and acts on a sound surface. Now below his last winning mark. On a handy mark and can leave his low-key stable debut behind with headgear returning. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ERNIE'S VALENTINE boasts a consistent level of form, having won two of his last four starts, and the six-year-old has every chance of backing up his recent Wolverhampton success off a 3lb higher mark. H Key Lails had Port Road back in third when returning to winning ways over C&D but it is likely to be closer between the pair, with the latter 4lb better off on this occasion.

A wind op could see VIRTUE PATIENCE tap back into his spring promise. Sheikh Raj is best of the rest in a good race for the grade.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

YOUNG ENDLESS completed his hat-trick in style at Southwell 12 days ago and should take some stopping in this handicap if he can reproduce that form at this track. Fascinating Shadow performed well for second here just five days ago and has clearly come out of that race well. He heads the list of dangers from distance scorer Lunar Power.

The four-timer is very much on the cards for YOUNG ENDLESS despite the surface query now he returns to Polytrack.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (10/1 -82%)Whenthedealinsdone |
10/1(-82%) | (5) Whenthedealinsdone 10/1, Too keen but just about to form when beaten 4l off 75 at Windsor last time; trainer in form; off a short-break; effective 5/6f, acts on any; better than showed latest. 18/1(-13%) | (6) Balon D'or 18/1, Scored by 2 1/4l off 65 at Chester three starts ago; a bit below form back on all-weather last time; enjoys making the running; effective at 5f or 6f; now 6lb higher than last win. Not straightforward for former yard; needs to leave stable debut well behind him. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The eye is immediately drawn to CORONADO KING's unexposed profile. He made it third-time lucky when winning comfortably at Wolverhampton in October and although conceding weight all round on his handicap debut isn't an easy task, there could be stacks more improvement to come and he's worth chancing. Others to keep an eye on are Giorgio M and Way To Dubai.

Coronado King adds an air of mystery but SERGEANT PEP is on a good mark and can capitalise.

5/1(+17%) | (6) Brodie's Boy 5/1, Ran to form when beaten 3/4l off 69 at Wolverhampton last time. Effective from 10f to 12f on all-weather. Unreliable but fairly treated. Yet to win a handicap but he has bee threatening of late; in the mix once again. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GIFTED ANGEL is going to get back in the winning groove sooner rather than later judged on recent second-placed efforts at Chelmsford and Southwell. He's not won here before but is tough to ignore given his recent form. Crackalackin won well over C&D latest and should be bang there at the business end, likewise distance winner Brodie's Boy and Party Island.

A few with possibilities but CRACKALACKIN (nap) improved when winning over C&D last month and is unexposed over middle distances.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

After a brace of course wins over 7f, DANDY KHAN is on a roll and reverts to a mile with a strong chance of completing the hat-trick. As he escapes a penalty for the latest of those successes, there is very good reason to expect another bold showing, with the in-form Billy Loughnane booked for the ride. Villalobos is respected under a 5lb penalty for last week's C&D success, while Eye Of The Water and Kessaar Power shouldn't be underestimated on these terms.

Recent winners Villalobos and DANDY KHAN are both of interest but the latter goes unpenalised and should have another race in her.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (10/3 +63%)Saxon Kingdom |
10/3(+63%) | (8) Saxon Kingdom 10/3, Ran to a poor level in reapplied cheekpieces down the field in a handicap over 7f at Southwell most recent; effective 7/8f, acts on G, AW; inconsistent and bounce back needed. Encouraging yard debut at Wolverhampton last month; subsequent run may have come too soon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (125/1 -150%)Reel Power |
125/1(-150%) | (10) Reel Power 125/1, Showed little when up in trip and down the field in a handicap over 10f here last time; returning from a short break; effective at 7/8f on a sound surface but out of form since returning from a lay-off. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (33/1 -32%)Weston Court |
33/1(-32%) | (9) Weston Court 33/1, Found little and below form when beaten 8l in a handicap over 7f at Wolverhampton last time; suited by 8f and acts best on fast ground; has been in moderate form recently. Won two in a row on turf in summer 2024 but hasn't hit the same heights since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

First Encounter has to be respected following his recent second at Chelmsford off the same mark, while Monks Mead was running consistently well during the summer and is of interest returning from a break. However, the vote goes to RAINBOW SIGN, who was beaten a short-head over C&D on his penultimate start in September and a more patient ride compared to last time will help.

Four-time course winner MOUNT MOGAN went close over C&D recently and is taken to go one better. Bear To Dream is feared.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (200/1 -100%)Hannahs Story |
200/1(-100%) | (10) Hannahs Story 200/1, No worthwhile form and yet to find suitable conditions. Has shown nothing to date. No worthwhile form on the Flat or over hurdles; another new trainer now. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

AMBER HONEY appreciated blinkers being reapplied when scoring at Southwell two starts ago before running with credit under a 6lb penalty back at the same venue. Ed Dunlop's filly steps up to 1m2f for the first time which may bring about further improvement. Beta Reader appears likely to be the main threat on his first run for Laura Mongan, while Saturnalia is down to a mark that could easily see him bounce back.

Amber Honey can go well over the new trip but TORTURED SOUL drops in class with Rossa Ryan back in the saddle and gets the nod.
Ths is the racecard key.
