|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

100/1(-52%) | (1) Dublinofficecallin 100/1, Too keen and below form when comfortably held in a bumper at Ayr last time; effective at 2m and acts on good to soft. Could do better now switched to hurdling. Hurdles debutant who looks far from solid on point/bumper form. |

66/1(-164%) | (11) Storm The Dug 66/1, Below form when beaten 5 1/4l in a handicap at Newcastle last time and looks difficult to fancy on that evidence. Maiden on Flat; less interesting than two of the other hurdles debutants. |

|PU| (3) (200/1 +0%)Giveitsomewellie |
200/1(+0%) | (3) Giveitsomewellie 200/1, Pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Ayr last time and makes limited appeal on that evidence; type to do better once handicapping in due course. Inauspicious debut in Ayr maiden hurdle. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Smart Flat performer FANTASY WORLD was engaged to run at Newbury last Saturday, but testing ground meant Nicky Henderson had to find another opening for his new recruit. This is far easier than the task he would have faced that day and while Keyboard and Gallivanted are the only two to show an aptitude for hurdling so far, the son of Make Believe might be far too strong.

Listed Flat winner and Triumph hope FANTASY WORLD appears likely to prove a cut above these rivals. Keyboard is second choice.

1st (3) (4/9 +75%)Roses All The Way |
4/9(+75%) | (3) Roses All The Way 4/9, Bit below form down in trip when fourth beaten 45l in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter latest; effective 2m1f-2m3f, acts on S and G; chance in a weak race. Holds leading claims on the pick of her bare figures in bumpers and over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (11/1 +8%)Tuppence |
11/1(+8%) | (4) Tuppence 11/1, Below form when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Newcastle latest; returning from a long layoff; effective at 2m on soft; a type to do better once switched to handicaps. Far from solid on form but may improve for the first-time hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (80/1 +36%)Changemyluck |
80/1(+36%) | (1) Changemyluck 80/1, Green and made mistakes when well beaten on a modest debut in a maiden hurdle at Kelso latest; has yet to show any real signs of ability. Poor claims on form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (18/1 0%)Georgie's Malt |
18/1(0%) | (2) Georgie's Malt 18/1, Yard won this last year; no-show from off the pace well beaten in a maiden hurdle here latest; off a short-break; effective 2m, acts on G; step back up in trip may help. Needs improvement kept to maiden level rather than switching to handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (11/4 -347%)Siorai |
11/4(-347%) | (6) Siorai 11/4, Ran to form beaten 10l in an auction race at Fairyhouse last time; trainer in form; effective up to 12f on Flat; brings significant promise to hurdles. Showed ability on Flat for Jim Bolger; interesting in this weak race on hurdles debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (150/1 -200%)Mischief Millie |
150/1(-200%) | (5) Mischief Millie 150/1, Yard won this last year; a poor debut when well beaten in a 4yo bumper at Catterick on her only start; can only do better now hurdling and stepping up in trip. Achieved nothing in a Catterick bumper. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Roses All The Way sets a modest standard with an official rating of 109 but should be more than capable in a race of this nature, although SIORAI is preferred. The Masar filly displayed promise in three Flat runs for Jim Bolger before moving to an in-form Harry Derham. Tuppence will need a first-time hood to work the oracle but is next best nonetheless.

Roses All The Way doesn't look totally bombproof but she's the form pick. Hurdles debutant SIORAI is more interesting.

1st (8) (3/1 +25%)Sattam |
3/1(+25%) | (8) Sattam 3/1, Made a big effort back from a huge layoff, well placed in a race dominated from the front when fourth beaten 9l in a handicap hurdle at Catterick last time. Effective at 2m-2m4f; has a chance if avoiding a bounce. Showed signs of retaining ability on belated return to action; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (6/5 +64%)Inca Prince |
6/5(+64%) | (1) Inca Prince 6/5, Too keen, went clear, did too much too soon but hinted at revival 5l third in a handicap hurdle at Sedgefield most recent run; enjoys making it; effective 2m, acts on S and G; fair mark if building on latest. Interesting off current mark dropped in grade; dual course winner as a youngster. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (5/1 -11%)Scots Poet |
5/1(-11%) | (4) Scots Poet 5/1, Had too much to do and was unsuited by the way the race developed but ran a solid race when beaten 7 1/2l into third in a handicap hurdle at Catterick last time. Effective at 2m, acts on soft and good; down to a workable mark and ideally wants a strong pace. Veteran whose current mark reflects a decline in his ability. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (16/1 +0%)Anamanda |
16/1(+0%) | (7) Anamanda 16/1, Made too much use of and was comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster last time. Effective at 2m4f-3m, acts on soft and good; a maiden but generally consistent. Regressive form this term but may benefit from this drop back in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (14/1 -211%)Bouboule |
14/1(-211%) | (6) Bouboule 14/1, Ran to best back on the Flat when beaten 3 1/2l off a 36lb lower mark at Newcastle last time. Effective at 2m on a sound surface; not ruled out. Good effort back on Flat last time; this juvenile hurdler is on a workable mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (16/1 -100%)Canavan |
16/1(-100%) | (5) Canavan 16/1, Ran to form when comfortably held in a 4yo hurdle at Wetherby last time. Effective at 2m on soft and good to soft; from a top yard and may do better now switched to handicaps. Juvenile hurdler who may show improvement off his opening hurdles mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (20/1 -82%)Mr Lincoln |
20/1(-82%) | (2) Mr Lincoln 20/1, Tired late having refused to settle and ran well to a point when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Ayr last time; since undergone a wind operation. Suited by 2m, acts on heavy and good; a threat on Irish form but struggling for new yard after a layoff. Physical tweak (wind surgery since last run) may prompt a turnaround. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (18/1 -140%)Magic Gloves |
18/1(-140%) | (3) Magic Gloves 18/1, Ran to form down in trip on handicap debut beaten 4l off this mark here last time; tongue-tie first time; off a short-break; effective at 2m-2m4f, acts on S and G; more to come in handicaps. Ran well in C&D contest on handicap debut ten weeks ago; possibilities off same mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (9) (50/1 -25%)Now Then Wendy |
50/1(-25%) | (9) Now Then Wendy 50/1, Stepped back in the right direction when tried in a tongue-tie, albeit comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Hereford last time. Off a short break; effective at 2m, acts on soft and good; down to a competitive mark. Has inconsistent hurdles form; not sure to back up latest effort. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAGIC GLOVES took a step forward when fourth over C&D on her handicap bow and the application of a first-time tongue-tie might elicit further improvement from the Russell/Scudamore inmate. She receives a tentative vote but that's only because Inca Prince ran with credit at Sedgefield most recently and has become too well handicapped to leave out of the equation. Sattam is capable, and veteran Scots Poet should not be underestimated either.

The Verdict comprises the juveniles BOUBOULE and Canavan who both look favourably treated in this switch to handicap hurdling.

11/10(+41%) | (5) Didntgotwenty 11/10, Outpaced, ran to form in first-time cheekpieces when second beaten 12l in a handicap chase here latest; effective 2m4f, maybe just stays 3m, acts on Hy and G; maiden has shown only modest form but chance in this. Only third best on merit when second here last month but remains unexposed over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (10/1 +9%)King Horse |
10/1(+9%) | (3) King Horse 10/1, Outpaced and disappointing on handicap debut when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby most recently. Off a short break; effective at 2m on soft; needs more now chasing but has point experience. Soundly beaten on handicap hurdle debut (2m); up in trip for this chasing debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (4/1 +0%)Siege Of Acres |
4/1(+0%) | (1) Siege Of Acres 4/1, Bit below form tried in hood comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Newcastle last time; effective around 2m-2m4f, acts on S and G; type to do better now handicapping over fences. Showed only minor promise in maiden hurdles but can improve in handicap chases. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (5/1 -122%)Divas Doyen |
5/1(-122%) | (4) Divas Doyen 5/1, Below form up in class when fourth beaten 29l in a handicap chase at Carlisle latest; effective at around 2m-2m4f on a sound surface; on workable mark but unreliable. Good second over C&D in November; recent defeat can be overlooked; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (9/2 -13%)Mademewhatiam |
9/2(-13%) | (6) Mademewhatiam 9/2, Travelled, ran to form but not find as much as looked likely comfortably held in a handicap chase at Wetherby last time; usually held up; off a short-break; effective around 2m4f, acts on S and G; needs more. Returned from break with two respectable Wetherby runs in December; could have a say. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) (66/1 -32%)Steady The Ship |
66/1(-32%) | (2) Steady The Ship 66/1, Made too much use of when pulled up in a handicap chase at Hereford last time. Off a short break and effective over 3m, but arrives out of form. Pulled up on both stable starts and arrives here with a lot to prove. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having separated subsequent winners when runner-up over C&D last month, DIDNTGOTWENTY could be poised to open his account. A 1lb drop in the ratings could prove to be lenient for the seven-year-old and he's taken to repel Divas Doyen. Although Sandy Forster's mare was underwhelming at Carlisle recently, a repeat of her penultimate second over track and trip would see her involved. Handicap/chase debutant Siege Of Acres is worth a second look in the betting.

Sandy Forster's DIVAS DOYEN ran well when second over C&D in the autumn and is taken to record her third chase win.

Effective over 2m-2m3f, acts on good to soft and good; may improve for the step up in trip on handicap debut. Showed clear promise in all three qualifying races; up in trip for handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (9/4 +59%)Bollin Matilda |
9/4(+59%) | (6) Bollin Matilda 9/4, Confirmed a recent revival, albeit not lasting home, when fourth beaten 6 1/2l in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby last time. Tongue-tie worn for the first time; effective over 3m and suited by cut; chance if building on latest efforts. Returned to form with two good efforts this winter, including close third over C&D. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (6/1 +40%)Artic Mann |
6/1(+40%) | (1) Artic Mann 6/1, Outpaced and well held up in class when well beaten in a handicap hurdle here last time, unsuited by the way the race developed. Effective up to 3m, acts on soft and good to soft, and goes well at Perth; good chance down in grade. Below form here last month but this veteran looked as good as ever last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (10/1 -186%)Lelantos |
10/1(-186%) | (3) Lelantos 10/1, Ran to form when third, beaten 13l off 99 last time, and runs off the same mark here. Trainer in form; suited by 3m on a sound surface; remains competitively weighted but the ground is a worry. Five-time hurdle winner; not at best last month but still enters calculations. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (11/1 -57%)Wearelongterm |
11/1(-57%) | (5) Wearelongterm 11/1, Outpaced but ran to form when a 6l third in a handicap hurdle here on his most recent run, poorly placed in a race dominated from the front. Effective over 2m4f-3m; running back into form. Stayed on for third over C&D last month and has now been placed on three of last four runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (9/2 +50%)Wee Alki |
9/2(+50%) | (4) Wee Alki 9/2, Again below form when comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby last time, with the ground possibly too soft. Suited by 3m, acts on good to soft; has lost form of late and the ground is again a worry. Came good at Hexham in November two lesser efforts on slower ground have followed. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Wearelongterm appreciated a switch to hurdling when hitting the frame over C&D on New Year's Day and he must enter calculations dropping in class. However, there is a fair chance that this rise in distance could unlock significant improvement in handicap-debutant CRYSTELLO, who finished second in a 3m point-to-point last April. Harry Derham's charge gets the verdict, with Bollin Matilda the pick of the remainder.

The most interesting runner is Harry Derham's handicap debutant CRYSTELLO, who moves up in trip after three encouraging runs.

1st (7) (4/1 -33%)Bridge Court |
4/1(-33%) | (7) Bridge Court 4/1, Below form up in grade when comfortably held in a handicap chase at Haydock last time; had been in good form prior; effective around 2m4f and acts on soft and good; probably has more to come as a chaser. Not fully exposed over fences but has something to prove in this scenario. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (10/1 +29%)Finn Lough |
10/1(+29%) | (5) Finn Lough 10/1, Did not find much having briefly threatened when well beaten in a handicap chase at Market Rasen last time; off a short break; effective from 3m to 3m2f and acts on good to soft and good; needs more down in trip. Revival would put him in the picture off current mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (15/8 +6%)Jus De Citron |
15/8(+6%) | (3) Jus De Citron 15/8, Rallied after being outpaced when beaten a length off a 2lb lower mark at Newcastle last time; trainer in form; effective around 2m4f, acts on GS; should improve significantly for initial experience, may do better over further. Lightly raced; promising third at Newcastle switched to chasing last time; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (4/1 +0%)Special Rate |
4/1(+0%) | (1) Special Rate 4/1, Ran to form when 6l third in a handicap chase here most recent run; effective 2m1f-3m on a sound surface; can go well if ground not too deep. Reasonably solid, having posted two respectable efforts over C&D for new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (12/1 -50%)Inis Oirr |
12/1(-50%) | (6) Inis Oirr 12/1, Mistakes, below form comfortably held in a handicap chase here last time; suited by marathon trips, acts on S and GS, needs to go right-handed; inconsistent. Effective at Musselburgh but his losing run is mounting up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (7/1 +7%)Jet Legs |
7/1(+7%) | (4) Jet Legs 7/1, Again a bit below form when comfortably held in a handicap chase at Newcastle last time; off a short break; effective from 2m4f to 3m and acts on any going; easing in the weights and not ruled out. Has slipped back to last winning mark and may prove resurgent. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (2) (9/1 +25%)Bold Light |
9/1(+25%) | (2) Bold Light 9/1, Ran to form on chase debut when fourth beaten 11l in a handicap chase here latest; effective 2m4f, acts on S and GS; needs more over fences but longer trip may suit. Not in the best of form this term; drops in class for second chase attempt. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dropping in class can be beneficial for SPECIAL RATE, who wasn't beaten far when third over C&D two weeks ago and can use that as a stepping stone to success in this company. The low-mileage Jus De Citron is interesting back up in trip and could also have a big say with another step forward on just his third start since wind surgery. Inis Oirr tends to go well here and is also a solid option.

With progress on the cards, lightly raced JUS DE CITRON (nap) is preferred. Solid-looking Special Rate is second choice.

9/2(+63%) | (5) Beat The Retreat 9/2, Found little and may not have stayed when tenth, beaten 34l off 87 last time; runs off the same mark here after a short break. Effective from 2m to 2m4f, acts on heavy and good; inconsistent but remains on a competitive mark. Three-time winner, most recently on penultimate start; inconsistent otherwise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (10/3 +52%)Snow Dragon |
10/3(+52%) | (4) Snow Dragon 10/3, Travelled well but did not find much after a bad error when fourth, beaten 13l, in a handicap hurdle at Newcastle last time. Effective from 2m to 2m4f, acts on heavy and good to soft, and in fair form; should go well again. Maiden who has consistent form figures this season; reasonably solid. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (7/1 -133%)Cher Tara |
7/1(-133%) | (2) Cher Tara 7/1, Outpaced, flew home, ran to form beaten 2l off a 2lb lower mark at Newcastle last time; effective 2m4f, suited by decent ground but acts on S; running into form for new yard. Has shaped with promise in two starts for new yard, third at Newcastle latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (5/4 +64%)Velvet Vulcan |
5/4(+64%) | (7) Velvet Vulcan 5/4, Ran to form, just outlasted by strong stayer having raced freely beaten a head off this mark at Ayr last time; usually held up; effective 2m-2m4f on Hy and G; cruiser who doesn't find a lot but should again go well. Went very close at Ayr the last twice; likely to go up in weights once reassessed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (11/2 -120%)National Question |
11/2(-120%) | (6) National Question 11/2, Improved for the step up in trip and held on in a strongly run race to land a handicap by a head off a 3lb lower mark at Sedgefield last time. Trainer in form; best around 2m-2m4f, acts on soft and good, and in form. Proved suited by 2m4f when scoring at Sedgefield last time; unexposed at this trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NATIONAL QUESTION received just a 3lb rise after his win at Sedgefield and the consistent six-year-old is a tempting proposition on these terms. Velvet Vulcan also scores highly on that criteria and is dangerous to underestimate as he gets weight all round. Cher Tara completes the shortlist after posting an improved display when third of 16 in this grade at Newcastle last month. That was only her second start since joining Daragh Bourke and there could be more to come.

Kept to this distance, NATIONAL QUESTION may follow up his Sedgefield win. Gemini Man is second choice.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
