28/1(-100%) | (3) Final Melody 28/1, Raced freely beaten 5 1/4l in a maiden at Down Royal last time; that similar modest level of form to debut; hard to recommend Not a likely maiden winner at this stage, might be one for nurseries later on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (80/1 -21%)Lady Landhort |
80/1(-21%) | (5) Lady Landhort 80/1, 28 Apr; Magna Grecia filly; dam very useful at 9f; yard in flying form but best watched Dam a maiden winner for Johnny Murtagh, pedigree points to stamina rather than speed. |

14/1(-17%) | (1) Darwin's Angel 14/1, 19 Feb; 27,000 euros Ardad filly; half-sister to The Green Man, smart at 6f; likely to need this initial experience Half-sister to three winners, trainer doing well but yet to saddle a juvenile winner. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (250/1 -150%)Mini Cotai |
250/1(-150%) | (6) Mini Cotai 250/1, Down the field in a maiden at Navan most recent; not disgraced in good race prior but hard to recommend Never involved on debut over C&D, last of 12 at Navan, can be left out of calculations. |

HAVANA ANNA sets a high standard and should prove difficult to beat. The Donnacha O'Brien-trained filly made a promising debut when third at Navan last month and the form received a major boost when the first two both won at Royal Ascot last week. She was subsequently caught close home over 6f at Cork and the drop back to the minimum trip should suit. Dawn Romance cost 160,000gns at the Craven Breeze-Up Sale and the Mehmas filly is out of a winning daughter of Dutch Art, while Darwin's Angel is a half-sister to three winners, including two who won as juveniles.

This should be straightforward for HAVANA ANNA, whose debut third was given a double boost by Gstaad and True Love at Royal Ascot.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (6) (40/1 +20%)Lismacbryan |
40/1(+20%) | (6) Lismacbryan 40/1, Probably needed race beaten 9l in a handicap over 6f at Fairyhouse last time; generally out of form; down in trip; significant jockey booking; not one to rely on Won a 6f Curragh handicap last October, down the field on stable/seasonal debut last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (4) (50/1 +0%)Dabirsim Flyer |
50/1(+0%) | (4) Dabirsim Flyer 50/1, Appeared not to stay down the field in a maiden over 10f at Ballinrobe most recent; generally out of form; down in trip; bit to find despite ease in weights Some early promise at 5f in 2023, lost his way; struggled over a longer trip on comeback. |

MY GIRL SIOUX won over this trip at Dundalk last November and has been a model of consistency since including when narrowly denied in a 20-runner event over C&D last month. She is also closely matched with Zaragoza when the pair were placed behind Devil's Angel at Navan. Beano Power has been in good form this term including when successful over this trip at Navan, while Carrigans Grove has a similar profile and bids to add to a Dundalk win. Pat Flynn's charge didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when beating all bar the progressive I Bid You Ajou at Fairyhouse last time.

Despite a below-par run on her latest starts, the maiden LISMACBRYANHILL has a leading chance in an open race on overall form

1st (3) (40/1 -700%)Ms Willpower |
40/1(-700%) | (3) Ms Willpower 40/1, Knew job 4l winner in an auction race at Dundalk on debut; that form had plenty of knocks; returning from long layoff; much more needed Looked a bright prospect when upsetting an odds-on chance in a 6f AW maiden last August. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (9/1 -50%)Fregada |
9/1(-50%) | (1) Fregada 9/1, Travelled well when 3/4l winner in a maiden at The Curragh on debut; that form franked emphatically including at Listed level; returning from long layoff; possible improver but likely to need this Form of her 6f maiden win makes good reading, coughing when missing a Listed engagement. |

9/2(+36%) | (6) Temperance 9/2, Did not get a clear run beaten 8 1/4l in Lacken Stakes (Group 3) here last time; in good form prior; handicap form franked; should be thereabouts Deserved her C&D handicap win last month, faced a tough task in a Pattern race last time. |

FREGADA justified good support on debut at the Curragh last autumn and the form of that 6f maiden has worked out exceptionally well since. The selection hasn't been seen since but was a late absentee (due to coughing) from the Listed Polonia Stakes at Cork last month where Revoke disappointed on her reappearance. The Ger Lyons-trained filly would be a big threat if reproducing her smart juvenile form, which includes a head second to Lady With The Lamp in the Listed Legacy Stakes at Dundalk. Ms Willpower won easily on debut at Dundalk last summer and it will be interesting to see if she attracts support after a 10-month absence.

Despite an indifferent display on her seasonal debut, REVOKE still has the makings of a smart filly judged on juvenile form

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

The battle-hardened BARNAVARA can put her experience to good use. Kept busy as a juvenile, she ran with credit in some quality contests. Third in the Athasi Stakes on her penultimate start, she finished just a neck behind subsequent Coronation Stakes heroine Cercene. Well backed when lowering the colours of Red Letter on her latest outing at Navan, she looks well placed to follow up. Unbeaten in two starts, Faiyum falls into the 'could be anything' bracket. Upped in trip, she will undoubtedly have plenty of supporters. A stable companion of the selection, it will be interesting to see how Bonnie Moon fares after her recent French success, while others of interest are debut winner Darzina and Gowran Classic runner-up And So To Bed.

FAIYUM is potential-laden and has won impressively in her two starts. She looks as though the step up in trip here will suit her

13th (13) (50/1 -100%)Shining Aitch |
50/1(-100%) | (13) Shining Aitch 50/1, Below par down the field in a handicap over 9f at Leopardstown most recent; out of form; up in trip; needs to improve 1lb out of the handicap; four of five wins came on AW and yet to hit form this year. |

Turned out again quickly after finishing second at the weekend, PADDYDADDY would be a deserving winner. Hampered in the closing stages of that Down Royal heat, the Mehmas three-year-old was unlucky not to have been awarded the race. A runner-up on her handicap debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month, Cuckaloo Hill is of definite interest. Noble Andy finished fifth in that contest and gave the form a boost by winning at Leopardstown. Not seen since September and now in the care of Ciaran Murphy, Lady Christa is capable of making an impact, while others for the shortlist in this open affair are Alto Sax, Unterburg and handicap debutant Brandon Creek.

A close second on handicap debut last time over the same trip, CUCKALOO HILL (nap) can go close here despite the 5lb rise

125/1(-25%) | (1) Love Of My Life 125/1, Slowly away well beaten in a maiden over 6f at Navan only start; returning from long layoff; up in trip; more needed 22l behind on sole start last July over 6f; makes stable debut but big improvement needed. |

A close-up third over C&D last month, with three subsequent winners in behind, the 80-rated GUARDED looks the one to beat. Disappointing prior to her latest effort, she looks to have turned a corner. An eyecatching fifth at Gowran earlier this month, Guy's Girl is of definite interest. Doing her best work towards the finish at the Co. Kilkenny circuit, she had the reopposing Chocalho behind. With some solid efforts to her name, Luscious is sure to have plenty of supporters, while her stable companion De Boode and fellow newcomer Jess Abi are others of interest.

GUARDED makes the most appeal following her close third over C&D last time, with some subsequent winners in behind

9th (4) (66/1 +0%)Jordan Breeze |
66/1(+0%) | (4) Jordan Breeze 66/1, Beaten 7 1/2l in a maiden over 5f at Cork last time; that improved form; up in trip; hard to recommend and needs this for a mark Poor run on debut, mildly positive effort over 5f at Cork, needs this for a handicap mark. |

After a protracted tussle, STANDARD DEVIATION went down by just a nose when last seen at Killarney. Drawing clear of the third, it's worth noting that there was a subsequent winner back in fourth. Upped in trip now from a mile, the son of Invincible Spirit is marginally preferred to the well-bred Esherann. Second and third on his first two starts, the Dermot Weld-trained colt is out of a Listed winner, who is herself a half-sister to Group 2 winner Eziyra. A solid fourth on debut at Gowran, Limbocall is the most interesting of the remainder.

Killarney runner-up STANDARD DEVIATION is likely to prove too strong for Esherann and Limbocall
Ths is the racecard key.
