Lightly-raced eight-year-old COYOTE SPIRIT has been running well and is his trainer's first-string, from six runners. The selection has proven himself on testing ground, has run well at this course on a few occasions in the past and now contests a winnable maiden. Stablemate Whinney Hill arguably has better form and should not be discounted, while Cock And Bull and Muhaajim are others to note.

In the hope that he jumps better back at the scene of his bumper win, WHINNEY HILL is a tentative selection

14:20 Navan (Class 1) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

ZANOOSH is the highest-rated runner and has good recent form. Smartly-bred, the selection defeated subsequent-scorer Fillyoureye in December and followed up in a course-and-distance handicap last month. She likes testing ground and can continue to progress. I'll Raise A Glass is another with strong claims, while Changeyourstars scored at Limerick at Christmas but has a few pounds to find at these weights with the selection on their Fairyhouse form last November.

This looks a good opportunity for the top-rated C&D winner ZANOOSH and she is taken to complete the hat-trick upped in grade

EVIES VLADIMIR needs to bounce back after a disappointing effort over 2m6f at Punchestown, but previously advertised his claims when beating all bar better fancied stablemate The Lovely Man over C&D with Bigbraveboy and Ceroc both behind. The Shirocco gelding has gained both previous victories on testing ground and may have most to fear from Gringo D'aubrelle, who won a valuable 3m1f handicap hurdle here on his penultimate start and races off an 18lb lower mark than his current hurdle rating. Bigbraveboy reversed places with the selection in the aforementioned 2m6f Punchestown event and merits respect.

Winner of a big handicap hurdle here in December, GRINGO D'AUBRELLE (nap) is worth another chance after a Punchestown fall

SOUL ASYLUM was narrowly denied in a point-to-point at Dromahane in November and was snapped up by current connections later that month for 280,000 pounds. The form has been boosted with the well-beaten third scoring next time and he gets the vote over In A Sonnet, who was also purchased by Gigginstown for 135,000 pounds after winning a UK point-to-point last spring. Begorra Man showed plenty of promise both over hurdles and in a bumper last term, including when runner-up to the impressive Gameofinches at Punchestown. City Of Cork should benefit from his hurdle debut here in December.

Gordon Elliott can take this with SOUL ASYLUM, an expensive recruit from Colin Bowe's yard following a promising run in a maiden point
