He previously finished third over C&D and a return to this trip shouldn't prevent another bold display, but it could be worth chancing handicap debutant JACKPOT CAUVELIERE. Harry Derham's inmate landed his sole 3m point-to-point by 20 lengths and his latest fourth at Ffos Las suggested that this greater emphasis on stamina could unlock significant improvement. Market support for Rialannah on her stable bow would be interesting.

One who could improve for a step up in trip is NAME ME NICELY who found 2m5f around Ludlow too sharp but he still ran well.

The veteran posted a good second on his seasonal bow at Cheltenham in November and even a repeat of his latest fifth here may prove good enough. The biggest threat might emerge from recent Southwell winner Jeffery's Cross, although reopposing runner-up Java Point is expected to finish closer given the drying ground.

This could be the day, on his hunter chase debut, that MISTER COFFEY finally sheds his famous maiden tag over fences.
