13:15 Newcastle (Class 1) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Gelded at the end of last year, ANDAB made a pleasing return to action at Doha in February. Beaten only a head on that first attempt at a mile, there looks to be more to come from the son of Saxon Warrior over the trip and Billy Loughnane's presence further boosts confidence. Jel Pepper landed a valuable sales race at Newmarket in October. It would be no surprise to see him land a blow, while Goodwood winner Timeforshowcasing is weighted to get involved. The unexposed Billecart is another worth a second look.

Irish challenger ANDAB has the best form and can defy a penalty to add to his Listed win at Dundalk last October.

13:50 Newcastle (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Andrew Balding's yard has won both of the previous renewals so Silent Strike is one to take seriously. The runner-up over C&D last time, he was beaten by a Karl Burke inmate on that occasion and that should give the latter a good line on the chances of THREE NON BLONDES. The daughter of Ubettabelieveit made every yard to score readily at Wolverhampton on her handicap bow and this return to 6f shouldn't be an issue. The progressive Al Najashi and Ten Carat Harry are others of interest in an open affair.

He has risen 32lb for his four handicap wins but AL NAJASHI (nap) can still take this big step up in class in his stride.

14:25 Newcastle (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Stateira won easily over C&D in January and a 10lb rise may not be enough to prevent another bold bid. Carolina Jetstream landed a brace at Dundalk with her latest success and arrives with solid claims, but a chance is taken on ZIGGY'S QUEEN. The five-year-old resumed winning ways at Lingfield on her first start over 7f, and is taken to confirm superiority over the runner-up Powdering raised only 2lb. Fouette returns to handicap company with a shout and is preferred to Paris Babe of the rest.

Ziggy's Queen and Powdering can go well but FOUETTE may prove up to her revised mark now that she is back in handicap company.

15:00 Newcastle (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Blue Rc continued his upward trajectory when landing the spoils at Southwell on New Year's Day and further glory cannot be ruled out. The four-year-old should remain competitive off 5lb higher, but CHANCELLOR is slightly more compelling. The Gosdens' gelding arrives on the back of a cracking close-up second in the Winter Derby and he may have too much class for these rivals. The Lost King and Tyrrhenian Sea are others of interest.

The Lost King is a big player but WITCH HUNTER seems well suited to this track and can gain a second C&D win of the year.

15:35 Newcastle (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Having completed a double in comfortable fashion at Dundalk, SIR LES PATTERSON makes plenty of appeal. Although an 8lb higher mark demands another career-best performance from the five-year-old, there is every chance that he could land this en route to competing in Group company. Lakers has posted two solid efforts in defeat since scoring at Southwell in October and he should give another good account, along with Sarab Star and Marshman.

A superb sprint handicap in which MARSHMAN and Lakers make most appeal. Few can be ruled out with confidence though.

16:10 Newcastle (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Smart hurdler GAUCHER bolted up at Dundalk in December before recording an equally impressive triumph at the same venue next time and he could still have plenty in hand. A drop in trip wouldn't have suited Regal Ulixes at Wolverhampton but he merits the utmost respect back at 1m2f, while others to note include class-dropper Antrim, who returns from a stint in Dubai and recent course winner Paradias.

Having impressed over 1m2f at Lingfield in February, REGAL ULIXES earns the vote now he's back up in trip. Gaucher is feared most.

16:42 Newcastle (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Cesarewitch hero Beylerbeyi has been running over inadequate trips returning in January, so it was to his credit that he was able to finish within two lengths of winner Regal Ulixes (runs in the 4.10) over 1m2f at Lingfield last time. This mark is still well within range but even so, all-weather specialist DUKE OF OXFORD might prove too strong. A winner at Kempton before landing the Trial for this event over C&D in January, he was worth even more than the winning margin suggests and is taken to defy a 6lb rise. Berkshire Sundance flopped in that same contest before bouncing back at Lingfield and must not be underestimated, nor should Dramatic Star, who remains unexposed over these types of trip.

Cesarewitch winner BEYLERBEYI has been running really well over shorter this year and can capitalise on the return to a staying trip.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
