Ran his best race for this yard when beaten a head over C&D last time; contender. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The likes of Ana Emaraaty, Violeta and the still low-mileage Tracker Issue all have something to recommend them. However, none of them look bombproof and a chance is taken on the returning SISTERANDBROTHER, who is fresh from a short break and would be dangerous to underestimate running from 5lb below his last winning mark. Noss Mayo is another to keep an eye on as stepping her up in trip could draw some improvement.

Violeta ran well following a break last time but TRACKER ISSUE is selected to go one better than he did over C&D last time.

Has gone backwards from debut effort but may prove resurgent in this field. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (4/11 +45%)Get An Attitude |

33/1(-136%) | (2) Flowerpot 33/1, Green and outpaced on debut when well beaten in a novice here on her only start. By a mile sire and out of a mare who ran in bumpers; light-framed and looked physically immature first time out. Always behind in 5f event at Newcastle; may do better upped to 6f. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This has been a stellar period for Karl Burke with his juveniles and the Middleham-based trainer looks to have placed GET AN ATTITUDE to good effect. A relative of useful performers in France, the daughter of No Nay Never debuts at a realistic level and certainly won't need to be out of the ordinary to beat Yy Spirit, Flowerpot and Princess Coco. With that in mind, the nicely-bed fellow newcomer Quiet Serenade could be a bigger danger.

Yy Spirit sets the standard but has regressed. Interesting newcomer GET AN ATTITUDE is preferred.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (3/1 +14%)Sound And Vision |
3/1(+14%) | (8) Sound And Vision 3/1, Made a bit too much use of but confirmed debut form when fourth beaten 5 1/4l in a maiden at Wolverhampton latest; trainer in form; effective at 6f and acts on AW; has a little more to give. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (14/1 +36%)Spirit Of Mara |
14/1(+36%) | (5) Spirit Of Mara 14/1, Outpaced and below debut form when down in trip, beaten 10l in a seller at Redcar last time; from a top course trainer; off a short break with speed in the pedigree and likely one for handicaps. Down the field at Haydock (7f) and Redcar (6f); looks one who may do better in handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (25/1 -56%)Liquid Cooled |
25/1(-56%) | (3) Liquid Cooled 25/1, Moderate debut when well beaten in a novice here on only start; likely to need at least 7f; improvement required. No obvious short-term promise when sixth here on debut over 7f; drops in trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DOLOS DREAM wasn't expected to beat a more experienced rival on her debut over 6f here last month. However, she showed a lot of promise in finishing second and the experience should have taught her plenty. With a step forward, this could be well within reach for the daughter of Havana Grey. There should also be more to come from the likes of Sound And Vision and See That Spark and they complete the shortlist.

Thankfully Simmy is second choice behind SEE THAT SPARK, who raced freely last time and may be suited by the drop to 5f.

7/1(+30%) | (4) The Caltonian 7/1, Produced his best run since February when beaten 2l off 89 here last time. Ridden by a top course jockey. Effective at 5-7f, all wins on the all-weather, and took a big step back in the right direction latest. Resurgent effort last time but isn't crying out for this return to 5f. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Plenty of past C&D form to go on here and RHYTHM N HOOVES gets a tentative vote. The five-year-old shouldn't be too long in getting back to winning ways if recent placed efforts at Wolverhampton and Southwell are anything to go by. Monks Dream has also been knocking on the door and is respected along with last-start winner Dark Cloud Rising.

Having looked unlucky last time, LETHAL NYMPH is taken to gain compensation. Dark Cloud Rising is second pick.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PRIAPOS put in a much-improved effort to score readily over C&D last month and connections have found their gelding another very winnable opening, so he's difficult to oppose. Political Power boasts winning distance form and could bounce back from a slightly underwhelming performance at Wolverhampton latest, while it's also worth keeping a close eye on Eve's Boy in first-time cheekpieces.

Being a last-time C&D winner who may have more to offer on AW, PRIAPOS (nap) is taken to follow up. Political Power is second pick.

CONCERT BOY is a model of consistency and produced another solid effort in defeat here on Friday. He's taking his racing well and another bold showing looks assured back up to the mile. Of the others, Typeface might not be done improving yet and is a must for the shortlist, while Imola might represent some each-way value along with Cuban Fiesta.

The vote goes to TYPEFACE, who may still be capable of further progress over 1m at this level. Concert Boy is second pick.

She needs things to drop right but OPAL STORM can have her recent run ignored, while Yorkshire Glory is second choice.

Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
