13:59 Newton Abbot (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WALK ON HIGH has the strongest form and will likely start a warm order to open his account. That was also the case when he found one too good at Fontwell last time, although Harry Fry's charge still finished well clear of the rest and can make amends now. Loki's Mischief has bits of form, notably a narrow defeat at Taunton, that give him a shout, while the unexposed Southfield Finale is one to note.

This looks a golden opportunity for WALK ON HIGH to finally shed his maiden status as a hurdler.

14:34 Newton Abbot (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MILITARY TYCOON left his previous form over hurdles behind when opening his account at Fontwell. He needs to prove that was no fluke, but the runner-up has subsequently boosted the form so it could pay to stick with Neil Mulholland's charge. Mach Ten may well have finished closer than fourth at Wincanton if not for being hampered at the last and he has to be of interest. Manala makes her handicap debut and is a likely improver.

Despite a 7lb higher mark MILITARY TYCOON (nap) can follow up last month's Fontwell success, the form of which has since been boosted.

15:09 Newton Abbot (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TIME TO BITE is enjoying a purple patch, having landed a double with last month's victory at Taunton. He has been raised a further 3lb, but the hat-trick looks a distinct possibility in his current frame of mind. Chris Honour's inmate is preferred to Tribesmans Glory, who posted one of his better efforts when placed at Chepstow. Kadex was in the process of running a big race when falling a couple of fences from home at Plumpton.

It may be worth taking a chance with BEGIN THE LUCK who has winning form over C&D and who has dropped to a favourable mark.

15:44 Newton Abbot (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JOHN BETJEMAN was well held in fourth at Plumpton, but he has been dropped another 3lb and now sports a first-time visor. The nine-year-old lurks on an appealing mark and could finally return to winning ways. Clear Storm made the frame on her first handicap start in this sphere at Taunton and is an interesting contender on her debut for the Neil Mulholland stable. Of the remainder, Thankyouandplease makes the most appeal.

Clear Storm should be a factor preference is for OPTICALITY, who ran well when back over hurdles last month.

16:19 Newton Abbot (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SCARFACE finished three lengths clear of the third when filling the runner-up spot in a warmer event at Newbury and is just 1lb higher. The eight-year-old has lots in his favour to go one better, with his main threat possibly Happy And Fine, who could only manage third at Sandown in February but may get closer off a 1lb lower rating. Royal Jewel is in good form and the booking of Harry Cobden catches the eye.

Plenty in here have the form to feature but some are on recovery missions. Not so SCARFACE who ran so well at Newbury.

16:54 Newton Abbot (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ELPOLOGREG has been knocking on the door of late and he is fancied to build upon a solid runner-up effort at Fontwell last month. The six-year-old has to compete from out of the handicap but is still lower than his last winning mark and he may have too much for Puddlesinthepark, who has run with credit since scoring at Hereford in February. Felton Bellevue and Jikala are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

This can go to FELTON BELLEVUE for whom it's possible to make excuses for his two defeats since winning nicely at Lingfield.

17:29 Newton Abbot (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COCONUT TWIST is in the form of his life at present and a 7lb rise for last week's success over C&D may not be enough to prevent him from landing the hat-trick. A determined winner over shorter at Market Rasen and now making his handicap debut now off a handy mark of 112, Moonset can follow the selection home, ahead of Warwick scorer Barricane.

Recent C&D winner COCONUT TWIST has slower ground this time but he's won twice on soft previously and looks the one to beat.
