6/1(+8%) | (2) G'emmethegreenlite 6/1, 9l fourth in a maiden at Hamilton first-time out where never competitive; should progress but must do to figure Some late gains in a warm Hamilton maiden on debut last month; should do much better. |

100/1(-25%) | (5) Ryefield 100/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 6f at Leicester only start where keen and met trouble; back in trip; hard to recommend Last of 13 at Leicester on debut when sent off at 150-1; big step forward required. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lil Brother nearly pulled off a 50/1 shock when second at Bath on his only start and is likely to enter calculations. G'Emmethegreenlite caught the eye when running on into fourth at Hamilton after a slow start and he can only improve for that experience, but newcomer FLYING COMET gets the nod. Bought for 350,000 euros at the Breeze-up sales, the Havana Grey colt certainly looks the part and he could make a winning start to his career for the Crisfords.

Flying Comet is an intriguing newcomer but G'EMMETHEGREENLITE could leave his debut effort well behind him today.

8th (5) (12/1 -9%)Doralee |
12/1(-9%) | (5) Doralee 12/1, Probably needed race beaten 1 1/2l off 56 at Redcar last time; inconsistent; good mark on novice form; in the mix if bringing best Lightly-raced 4yo; not beaten far on her return 6 weeks ago; needs more but it's possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SNOW BERRY has a good record here, with three wins and three places, and showed signs of a return to her best when a half-length second over course and distance last month. Upped 2lb for that, she could still prove good enough in this field. Free Pic intrigues having weakened over further on all three starts and she makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark, but Mrs Trump looks a far bigger danger. Only beaten a neck at Beverley in May, a repeat of that display would see the five-year-old in the mix.

Snow Berry and Mrs Trump should go well but PAPA DON'T PREACH (nap) can resume winning ways back at 5f.

28/1(-133%) | (4) Give Me The Night 28/1, 4l fourth in a novice over 7f at Kempton first-time out where forced wide; step up in trip a plus; each way claims if progressing Fair form when fourth on 7f Kempton debut 15 days ago; may do better. |

8th (7) (50/1 -150%)Timely Affair |
50/1(-150%) | (7) Timely Affair 50/1, Well beaten in a maiden at Goodwood only start where never competitive; all to do and likely to need more time 12-1, beaten 15l when sixth on 1m Goodwood debut; needs significant improvement. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SEA FORCE should prove popular here after finishing second on both starts this year when beaten a neck at Doncaster and a head at Newbury over seven furlongs. As a son of Sea The Stars, the step up in trip may bring improvement. Cameron Highlander seems his biggest rival after a highly promising debut in third at Newcastle for the Coles, leaving Give Me The Night as a horse with plenty of potential for Mark Rimell and he could be the surprise package.

This looks a golden opportunity for SEA FORCE to get off the mark. Newcastle third Cameron Highlander is the obvious danger.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MYSTERYOFTHESANDS is an infrequent winner in truth but, having won at Beverley on his penultimate start, he was far from discredited when fifth in warm York contest latest. This isn't as competitive and Tim Easterby's charge could notch up another success, although A Major Payne will be a real threat judged on his recent Kempton second. Waiting For Love enters handicaps from a potentially workable mark and is of interest on his first outing since December.

A Major Payne should go well but slight preference is for MYSTERYOFTHESANDS, who ran well in a big field at York last time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Although only seventh of nine when attempting 1m2f for the first time at Ripon, there was plenty of encouragement from WAIT AND HOPE, who built on that to score at Redcar next time. Ruth Carr's four-year-old is only 3lb higher today and with the potential of more to come over this distance, he could go in again. The Pug was no match for an improver at Windsor latest but he merits respect from an unchanged mark, while others to note include Made All and Saachi.

Made All is unexposed over middle distances but WAIT AND HOPE still looks well treated despite going back up 3lb for his Redcar win

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Bellator Bullet got off the mark at the seventh attempt when winning a similar race over this distance at Redcar last month, but an added 5lb for a half-length win looks harsh and he may have to settle for a place. Rommie The Miracle has a similar profile and may also get involved, but DEEP WATER BAY could have their measure. Stepped up to 1m4f at Wolverhampton after unplaced runs over a mile, he won by two lengths when keeping on well and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop him following up.

Bellator Bullet has a progressive profile but DEEP WATER BAY left the impression he has more to come last time and he can follow up.

11/2(-57%) | (1) Lynwood Lad 11/2, Weak in the market when winning a classified race at Brighton over 5f by 1 1/4l last time; step up in trip no issue; can follow up Two wins this year, the latest in a similar race at Brighton ten days ago; good chance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LYNWOOD LAD is the only runner in this line-up to have won last time out and although having to give 5lb or more to his rivals, he could still show these a clean pair of heels if the five-year-old remains at the same level under Tom Queally. Timebar ran well at Leicester in fourth last time out but remains a maiden and may have to settle for a place, so perhaps the main threat may well come from Korroor, after running on late over shorter at Leicester.

Enderman is a danger to all at this level but the return to 6f can see KORROOR win his second race of the year.
Ths is the racecard key.
