14:00 Plumpton (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A game winner over C&D on her penultimate start, LA DOLCE DOLLY proved that was no fluke when she shrugged aside a 4lb higher rating to follow up at Wincanton three weeks ago. A further 4lb rise might not be enough to prevent Andy Irvine's mare from completing a hat-tick. Fellow last-time-out winner Gwennie May Star is feared the most, although Warranty and Kaituna River are also capable players.

This looks open but it's worth chancing the stamina of GWENNIE MAY STAR who appeared to be sweetened up by the cheekpieces last time.

14:35 Plumpton (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

After a 37-length success at Ayr, ASTA LA PASTA is very hard to ignore. Admittedly, the selection's task was made easier by the departure of his main rival three out that day, but he was barely extended in the closing stages and a 5lb higher mark is manageable. Sans Bruit also won well last time and could prove to be the main danger, although Westport Cove should not be discounted.

Class act JPR ONE (nap) can be given another chance in handicap company, as a mistake two out cost him all hope in the Grand Annual.

15:10 Plumpton (Class 3) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

NORN IRON looks to be the safest option based on his proven reliability. Well supported for a handicap contest at Newbury last month, Harry Derham's gelding didn't do much wrong as that race unfolded and was only denied by a neck at the line. Compensation is attainable with another step forward. The unexposed Roman Roy and Start Again are the logical players for the forecast slot.

Harry Derham's NORN IRON has been running well in handicaps and could be expected to win a much stronger maiden than this one.

15:45 Plumpton (Class 2) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

WICKED THOUGHTS appreciated the faster underfoot conditions in maiden company at Ascot last month. He forged clear of his rivals in the closing stages and Paul Nicholls' charge looks one to keep on the right side of now handicapping. Escapologist and Ambion View are others of interest on their handicap debuts, with the former marginally preferred, but Excelero bids for a hat-trick and may prove the biggest threat to the selection.

This looks wide open. A chance is taken on AS THE FELLA SAYS in the hope that wind surgery can trigger some improvement.

LADY JAGO will likely be raised by more than her 7lb penalty in the future, having trounced the opposition when scoring at Warwick a week ago. The hat-trick beckons for Dan Skelton's progressive chaser. Sea Invasion posted a better effort when runner-up at Exeter last time and could pose a threat if the application of headgear has the desired effect, while Fakenham winner Lyrical Genius is preferred of the remaining pair.

Title-chasing Dan Skelton can bank some handy prize money here as hat-trick seeking LADY JAGO could be well in under the penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Aggagio is talented on his day and he has won off this mark in the past, albeit back in 2023. He can still go well here, but if PUBLIC ENEMY takes a step forward from his maiden win over course and distance earlier this month, he could be the one to be on under Rex Dingle. Alan King's Dickens and Synchronist are the pick for the minor prize money.

Public Enemy could be interesting as an unexposed 4yo with a C&D maiden win to his name but SYNCHRONIST edges preference.

17:35 Plumpton (Class 2) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Kajikia won a decent bumper at Ascot on his first start, although he was beaten a long way in a Listed race next time out and needs to bounce back. Willie Mullins is represented by the Yeats gelding Emerald Poet, but he is bred to be better over further and he may have to give way to LE BEAU MADRIK. Dan Skelton's newcomer has more speed in his pedigree and that may see him come out on top.

The market will make for essential reference but EMERALD POET gets the nod ahead of Le Beau Madrik, who has the 4yo allowance.
