TRY STORM CAT battled all the way to the line when just touched off at Hamilton recently and is likely to have plenty more to offer. The son of Saxon Warrior looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to shed his maiden tag. Willowinghurn struck over track and trip on her penultimate start and David O'Meara's filly has experience on her side so she is respected. Our Hero Matty completes the shortlist.

Quite competitive. TRY STORM CAT has twice given it a good go from the front and he has leading form claims.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GREAT PROFIT was too keen to do himself justice when well beaten on his debut at Ripon, but he would have learned a lot from that experience. Richard Fahey's youngster was an expensive 360,000-pounds purchase and is well related so he could take a big leap forward to strike. O Fortuna possibly raced on the wrong side of the track when only seventh on his introduction over C&D and may show more. Jungle Monarch is another to note.

Karl Burke's Bungle Inthejungle colt JUNGLE MONARCH made a promising start when fifth at Wolverhampton and can build on it.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

COSMIC SOUL has filled the runner-up berth over 2m at Catterick the last twice and his rating hasn't been changed since the latest of those, when beaten less than a length. Patrick Neville's five-year-old is yet to achieve success in his career, but this looks like a good spot. Dubai Venture gamely made every yard of the running to score over 1m4f at Pontefract and is just 2lb higher. Paco's Pride lurks on an appealing rating and is another to keep an eye on.

Ed Walker's low-mileage mare GLIMMER OF LIGHT made a promising return when third at Leicester and can build on it to get off the mark.

11/1(-10%) | (5) Just King High 11/1, Going probably on fast side beaten 9 1/2l in a handicap at York last time; usually consistent; may not relish fast ground; risky Not best drawn when 11th at York latest so he shouldn't be written off. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NAANA'S SPARKLE showed up well for a long way in the 3YO Dash at Epsom a fortnight ago and could be worth chancing in these calmer waters. That was easily his stiffest task of the season so far and a 1lb nudge down the ratings could prove to be a gift from the handicapper. Mission Command and Reservardo are closely matched based on their recent Musselburgh encounter and can fight it out for second.

A few hold chances but RESERVARDO started life in handicaps with a good Musselburgh third and is taken to resume winning ways.

5/1(+38%) | (5) South Parade 5/1, Below par beaten 7l in a handicap at Chelmsford last time; in good form prior; top jockey back on board; should do better back on turf; threat in tight affair Started the year with two good placed efforts and poorly drawn latest; not dismissed. |

7th (6) (16/1 -100%)Profitable Edge |
16/1(-100%) | (6) Profitable Edge 16/1, Beaten 5 1/4l in a handicap at Musselburgh last time; off a short-break having had a wind-op; 2025 form hasn't been as good as last term; place squeak Yet to fire this year but she's undergone wind surgery since last seen; yard run two here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (6/1 +14%)Zarzyni |
6/1(+14%) | (3) Zarzyni 6/1, Scored by a neck off 78 at Musselburgh three starts back; seventh beaten 5l off 80 last time; usually held up; not quite as consistent these days; in the mix Second to Muker in this race last year; not at best the last twice but likely to run well. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MUKER took this race off 1lb lower 12 months ago and is an attractive proposition as he bids for a repeat with stronger credentials this time around. Denied a clear run behind a surprise winner at Southwell on his most recent start, this still zestful seven-year-old has a decent chance of enhancing his profile with a third career win over this C&D. Azure Angel has form that ties in with the selection through his Southwell conqueror and needs serious thought. Zarzyni and Alligator Alley are other major players.

Last year's one-two MUKER (nap) and Zarzyni should find this being run to suit and they can fill the same placings.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LIMA SIERRA arrives in the best form having finished a promising second at Ripon before scoring at Catterick. The daughter of Kodi Bear is taken to continue her good progress and defy a 4lb rise. Baby Rover has a couple of lengths to find with the selection on running at Catterick but could still make the frame, while Bow Street looks worth a second glance back in this lower grade having won off a higher mark on the all-weather last year.

This looks a good opportunity for Nigel Tinkler's LIMA SIERRA to defy a 4lb weights rise and follow up her maiden Catterick success.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RAVISHING BEAUTY was a solid fourth here last month and that effort looks better in hindsight given the third has subsequently won. This looks less competitive and Jedd O'Keeffe's charge is worthy of another chance off her current mark. Jesmond Dawn is only 2lb higher than when successful at Ripon last term and he could bounce back at any time, while Top Gun Tina has a shout on her second at Carlisle in May.

Richard Fahey's lightly raced MWAFAQ is worth siding with to build on earlier promise and get off the mark.
Ths is the racecard key.
