|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (8) (33/1 +18%)Oscar's Luck |
33/1(+18%) | (8) Oscar's Luck 33/1, Well beaten in a maiden at Limerick only start where went off big price; visor first time; all to do Made no impact first time out in a 7f maiden on soft ground at Limerick, visored now. |

NO SUCH THING has shown a consistently useful level of form in his career and is suited by conditions, in this winnable claimer. Runner-up on debut, he was a beaten favourite when finishing mid-field in a valuable sales race last September and returned this year with three useful efforts. He drops in a lesser maiden now and should take all the beating. Stablemate Rubadub Dubh has himself shown ability in two runs and while he lacks some of the selection's ability, should get involved at the business end. Cosmic Force showed some bits of form for George Boughey in the UK.

This looks straightforward for the 76-rated NO SUCH THING who has competed effectively in much stronger company than this

2nd (3) (7/1 -40%)Check This Out |
7/1(-40%) | (3) Check This Out 7/1, 28 Mar; £17,000 Ten Sovereigns colt; half-brother to Jersey Wonder, very useful at 16f; top course jockey; yard in good form in both codes; worth following in the betting 17,000GBP Ten Sovereigns colt, half-brother to a 1m 2yo winner, worth a market check. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (5/2 -54%)Divelment |
5/2(-54%) | (1) Divelment 5/2, 2l fourth in a maiden over 8f here first-time out under positive ride; that sets form standard; tough to catch if getting across from wide draw Belied odds of 25-1 with fine run over C&D on debut, big chance with that under his belt. |

4th (8) (16/1 +0%)Parallax |
16/1(+0%) | (8) Parallax 16/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 5f at Dundalk only start when went off a big price; up in trip; off a short-break; improvement needed on turf debut Cotai Glory filly, 50-1 and green on debut at Dundalk (5f), up in trip, watch on turf bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (10/3 -33%)Spinning Around |
10/3(-33%) | (2) Spinning Around 10/3, 28 Mar; 42,000 euros Australia filly; half-sister to Minnetonka, very smart at 6f; dam high-class at 6f; yard has had a couple of debut winners this year; likely type Australia filly, related to winners at 6f-1m4f, respected source, market to reveal plenty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (11/4 +73%)Gas Works Wall |
11/4(+73%) | (7) Gas Works Wall 11/4, Well beaten in a maiden over 6f at Naas only start having missed the break; this easier; top course trainer; up in trip; could figure 25-1 for debut over 6f but stayed on after trouble in running, may go well up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (50/1 0%)Ella's Gold |
50/1(0%) | (9) Ella's Gold 50/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 8f here only start; plenty more needed and yard's horses tend to need more time Galileo Gold filly, behind a few of these on debut over C&D, may need more time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (66/1 -65%)Balance Of Trade |
66/1(-65%) | (5) Balance Of Trade 66/1, Had benefited for debut experience beaten 9l in a maiden over 8f here last time; slow starts an issue and more needed Long odds for both starts and well beaten, behind two of these latest, others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (33/1 -65%)Cliadh Dubh |
33/1(-65%) | (6) Cliadh Dubh 33/1, Did not get a clear run beaten 5 1/2l in an auction race over 5f at Cork last time having missed the break; usually consistent in short career; up in trip; outside chance if stamina holds up Long odds and well beaten in three starts at 5f-6f, steps up in trip, more needed to win. |

SPINNING AROUND has a useful pedigree and contests an ordinary maiden on debut. The fourth foal out of a Group-placed dam, her three half-siblings have already won and she went through the sales ring for 42,000 euros as a yearling. Check This Out, under champion jockey Colin Keane, is a half-brother to a Listed winner and three other winners, so is taken to get involved. Gas Works Wall contested a hot maiden at Naas on debut but was well held.

Divelment sets the standard on his debut fourth over C&D but ROMEO SENSINI wasn't that far behind and could turn that form around

16/1(+11%) | (6) La La Lucrative 16/1, Appeared not to stay well beaten in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park latest; generally out of form; not proven trip; sole UK win came on heavy; bit to find Won over 6f on heavy in Britain, weak form over various trips for this yard, hard to fancy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (11) (9/1 +44%)Blue Wood |
9/1(+44%) | (11) Blue Wood 9/1, Beaten 6l in a handicap at The Curragh last time where held every chance; generally out of form; basement mark not enough to recommend Decent run at the Curragh finishing seventh of 25 despite being 8lb out of the handicap. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (12) (33/1 -106%)Celtic Druid |
33/1(-106%) | (12) Celtic Druid 33/1, Below par well beaten in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park latest; generally out of form; visor first time; not proven trip; lot to find Beaten 10l in seventh at Gowran on seasonal debut, improvement needed with visor fitted.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (5/1 +44%)Mullacash Buzz |
5/1(+44%) | (9) Mullacash Buzz 5/1, Below par down the field in a handicap at The Curragh most recent; in good form prior; top course jockey; enjoys making it; very well treated on AW form; not dismissed 2-19 on turf, more effective at Dundalk but could go well with the ground in his favour. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (3/1 +0%)Si Senior |
3/1(+0%) | (2) Si Senior 3/1, Slowly away beaten a nose off 59 over 8f here last time; unproven on fast ground; big chance of reversing form with Cherry Pink if breaking on terms; go close if doing so Went close against Cherry Pink over C&D last week despite a very slow start, major chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (50/1 +24%)La Tulipe Noire |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (11/1 -38%)Harriet Eagle |
11/1(-38%) | (5) Harriet Eagle 11/1, Appeared not to stay down the field in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park most recent; inconsistent; unproven on fast ground; just 1lb above last winning mark; in the mix Below that form at Gowran and has plenty to find with Sierra De Gredos on that running. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (100/1 -150%)Dubirango |
100/1(-150%) | (7) Dubirango 100/1, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap over 8f at Dundalk most recent; down in trip; unproven on fast ground; needs to prove ability remains after long lay off Useful AW form in 2022, off for almost three years before recent return, made no impact. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (4) (8/1 +60%)River Derwent |
8/1(+60%) | (4) River Derwent 8/1, Won this last year off 4lb higher; beaten 7l in a handicap over 8f here last time where poorly placed; generally out of form but racing over wrong trips; unproven on fast ground; interesting Won this event last year when 4lb higher, stayed on without threatening here last week. |

CHERRY PINK defeated today's rival Si Senior by a nose to win over course-and-distance last week and might confirm placings. The selection is an able three-time winner who is well suited by a sound surface and while her rating has climbed 4lb following her success, today's rider now claims 7lb. Si Senior has been competing well recently and should have a say. Sierra De Gredos showed some promise on his two handicaps runs last year and is noted in first-time cheekpieces.

A promising third at Gowran on his seasonal debut, SIERRA DE GREDOS will hardly need to improve much to win a race of this standard

1st (5) (6/4 +8%)Omni Man |
6/4(+8%) | (5) Omni Man 6/4, Ran to form second beaten 2l in a maiden over 8f at Cork latest; previous maiden form franked; top course trainer; up in trip; unproven on fast ground; consistent; big chance if handling conditions Improved this year, fine effort behind 90 rated rival at Navan, bred to stay, claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (8/13 -15%)Mocking |
8/13(-15%) | (4) Mocking 8/13, Travelled strongly second beaten 1/2l in a handicap over 12f at Cork latest; steadily progressive; previous handicap form strong; cheekpieces first time; down in trip; threat Rated 85, solid runs in handicaps the last twice, leading claims in first-time cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (12/1 +64%)First Ascent |
12/1(+64%) | (1) First Ascent 12/1, Well beaten in a maiden at Cork only start; front pair have boosted form since; tongue-tie first time; main danger to front pair in betting Cheaply bought Godolphin cast off, beaten 18.5l on debut, tongue tie on, needs more time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (150/1 -127%)Anjaaline |
150/1(-127%) | (2) Anjaaline 150/1, Well beaten in a maiden at Ballinrobe only start having missed the break; all to do and likely outclassed Anjaal filly, 200-1 when slowly away and well beaten on debut, hard to fancy. |

OMNI MAN looks like he'll benefit from the step up in trip. The Invincible Spirit colt has performed well on his three starts to date. He lost out in a tight finish at Navan on his return before plugging on to finish second behind Jagged Edge at Cork. This looks like a nice opportunity. Mocking was given a mark of 85 after a good run to chase home What's Your Game in handicap company at that same Cork meeting. He has a big shout back in a maiden. First Ascent may be the one for third.

This is essentially a match between Mocking and OMNI MAN with marginal preference for the latter on the basis of his third at Navan

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (16/1 +11%)Vierson |
16/1(+11%) | (9) Vierson 16/1, Made too much use of beaten 7 1/2l in a handicap over 8f at Limerick last time where ground on the soft side; step up in trip no issue; unproven on fast ground; could figure Dundalk maiden winner, unplaced in nine other starts, others have stronger credentials. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (11/2 +21%)Zipster |
11/2(+21%) | (4) Zipster 11/2, Yard won this last year; did not get a clear run beaten 3l off 74 over 8f at Cork last time having missed the break; cheekpieces first time; up in trip; generally consistent; handles fast ground; may contend Two wins for the Crisfords were over 1m, worth a shot at this trip, first-time cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (4/1 +38%)The Real Screamer |
4/1(+38%) | (6) The Real Screamer 4/1, Below par fourth beaten 7l in a handicap at Ballinrobe latest when well fancied; in fine form prior on AW and turf; unproven on fast ground; probably bit to come if handling conditions 2-2 at Dundalk, 0-8 on turf, ran well at Navan before beaten favourite at Ballinrobe. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (4/1 -14%)Aeon's Aegis |
4/1(-14%) | (10) Aeon's Aegis 4/1, Ran to form 5 1/4l third in a maiden over 7f at Limerick most recent run; top course trainer; bred to relish the step up in trip and fast ground; can take advantage of lenient opening mark Misbehaved at the start on turf debut at Limerick, promising third in the circumstances. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (10/1 -25%)Spy |
10/1(-25%) | (8) Spy 10/1, Below par fourth beaten 20l in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Killarney latest; returning from long layoff; good mark on jumps form; ran well here when last seen on flat; interesting at a price Fair form over hurdles last summer, unplaced in two Flat handicaps at this venue last year. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (8/1 -45%)Chavajod |
8/1(-45%) | (3) Chavajod 8/1, Landed a handicap by a nose off 68 over 8f at Limerick last time; up in trip; remains well treated on old form; stamina concerns Ground was very soft for last month's win but his best form has been mostly on AW or good. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (33/1 -175%)Nita |
33/1(-175%) | (2) Nita 33/1, Pulled up in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Fairyhouse latest; multiple German flat winner; fair mark on that but likely to find ground too quick Three-time Flat winner in German, worth considering despite a poor recent hurdles run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (17/2 +39%)Bright N Shine |
17/2(+39%) | (1) Bright N Shine 17/2, Found ground too soft down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Punchestown most recent; trainer in form; down in trip; returning from a break; in good form when last seen on flat; outside chance Consistent on Flat in the final months of last year before failing to take to hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (125/1 -681%)Albion Power |
125/1(-681%) | (5) Albion Power 125/1, Below par beaten 7l in a handicap over 8f at Dundalk last time; flattered by previous maiden win; top jockey back on board; up in trip; unproven on fast ground; not out of it if stamina holds up but not bred for this far First time away from Dundalk, 7f winner has never gone further than 1m, ground will suit. |

This longer straight here may suit THE REAL SCREAMER, who ran a solid race without troubling the leaders at Ballinrobe last time. He couldn't pick them up on the tight home bend that day but looks to be on a competitive mark judged on his previous effort at Navan. Aeon's Aegis ran with promise in maiden company at Limerick on his return and, on better ground, the gelding is interesting on his handicap debut. Chavajod was a winner last time but is perhaps better over a mile.

The only 3yo runner AEON'S AEGIS is relatively unexposed and is likely to be suited by this step up in trip for his handicap debut

18/1(+28%) | (2) Action Plan 18/1, Below par down the field in a handicap over 8f at Limerick most recent; generally out of form since autumn hurdles win; not proven trip; others appeal more Won off 5lb lower last April, ran well here over 10.5f, acts on good ground, place chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (7/2 +13%)Ragmans Corner |
7/2(+13%) | (4) Ragmans Corner 7/2, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Naas latest where bled; hurdles winner previously; top course jockey; unexposed in this sphere; likely better than this mark but needs stiff test Blood at nostril and pulled up when last seen over timber, may need this on Flat h'cap bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (5/1 -11%)Ozark Daze |
5/1(-11%) | (3) Ozark Daze 5/1, Raced freely 4l third in a maiden over 10f at Ballinrobe most recent run; consistent but frustrating maiden; fair mark back in a handicap; not proven trip; unproven on fast ground; contender if stamina holds up Maiden, improved effort at Ballinrobe latest, career low mark now, stamina to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (11/4 +8%)Preparations |
11/4(+8%) | (6) Preparations 11/4, Landed a handicap by 3l off 64 at Bellewstown three starts back; well beaten latest where outclassed at Graded level; hurdles winner in spring; down in trip; more to come judged on maiden form; could be tough to catch Dual-purpose, won over timber last month, won last Flat start off 6lb lower, claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (10/3 +17%)Solar Drive |
10/3(+17%) | (7) Solar Drive 10/3, Well backed beaten 6 1/2l in a handicap over 1m5f at Ballinrobe last time; steadily progressive in both codes; has fitness edge; every chance Dual-purpose; won two at Cork last year at 1m4f, 3lb above last win, ground fine, claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (10/1 +44%)Matt Connor |
10/1(+44%) | (5) Matt Connor 10/1, Down the field in a handicap over 1m5f at Navan most recent where went too fast; should come on for the run; down in trip; top jockey back on board; unproven on fast ground; outside hcance Two-time winner in 2023, out of form since, well-treated but needs a revival. |

SOLAR DRIVE won twice over this distance at Cork last year on varying ground conditions and also won a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe. The Paul Flynn-trained gelding came home well from off the pace at Ballinrobe earlier this month and Wayne Hassett again claims a valuable 5lb. Ozark Daze was a consistent sort for Andy Oliver last year and now steps back up in trip, while Gotta Catch'em All filled the runner-up spot twice last year including over this distance.

PREPARATIONS is relatively unexposed at this trip and she can bounce back from a poor run on unsuitable ground over hurdles last time.

ONEMOREDANCE was unlucky in running on her handicap debut at Leopardstown and appreciated the step up to 1m1f last time when scoring in good style at Tipperary. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly finished strongly to suggest she can cope with this trip and may prove too strong for Antoine De Paris. He also came home well when fourth to Birdie Time over an extended 1m2f at Sligo, with Alumni Lia nearly two lengths behind in fifth and Enziya seventh. Drucker is the only other winner in the line-up having scored at Dundalk last month.

The step up to 1m4f may favour COULSTYS WAY who stayed on well to take third behind today's rival Onemoredance at Tipperary
Ths is the racecard key.
