Charlatan relished the extra yardage when scoring over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton recently and he must enter calculations off just 2lb higher in the handicap. However, SHOWMEDEMONEY just edged out a subsequent winner at Newcastle three weeks ago and he may prove to be slightly better treated off the same rise in the ratings. R P Mcmurphy has proved consistent since entering handicap company and is also of interest in first-time cheekpieces.

There looks to be plenty of pace in this contest and a well-run race would suit last year's winner CHARLATAN.

Amarachi's mark continues to drop slowly and she's a potential improver stepping up in distance, with Poke The Bear expected to be the mix once more.

Having filled the runner-up spot on both starts to date, Seeing Stars is likely to give another good account at this level. William Knight's filly is sure to be at the forefront of the market, but she may have to play second fiddle once more behind the returning ELLUSIVE BUTTERFLY. The daughter of Invincible Army was last seen finishing third in a Listed event at Deauville in July and a similar performance could see her collecting. Newcomer Mac's Wee Sister is a potential fly in the ointment and market support must be noted.

Ellusive Butterfly is a fascinating contender, but SEEING STARS has good recent form having twice finished second last month.
