16:21 Southwell (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having continued his resurgence when completing a double over 6f here, Cargin Bhui must enter calculations. However, the son of Invincible Army has yet to prove his stamina over 7f, which could leave the door open for GOLDMOYNE. The six-year-old has been knocking on the door since scoring at Newcastle in the christmas period and a fifth career victory may beckon. Camera Shy is the pick of the remainder.

Preference is for the solid GOLDMOYNE, given that Cargin Bhui needs to prove himself beyond 6f.

16:55 Southwell (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FLOWSTATE secured a double at Newcastle and further glory may be on the cards. The introduction of Conor Whiteley's 7lb claim could prove fruitful and the five-year-old is taken to thwart Lord Capulet in his quest to complete a four-timer. Kevin Ryan's inmate isn't taken lightly, but a 4lb higher mark and rise in class does demand another career best. Fellow last-time-out winners Packetofbiscuits and King Of York add further spice to the mix.

Flowstate and LORD CAPULET have been thriving at Newcastle and make the most appeal, with slight preference for the latter.

17:30 Southwell (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SHAFI built on a promising third-placed debut when landing the spoils over C&D in October. James Tate's colt looks capable of better and he could prove a tough nut to crack if returning at the same level. The biggest threat may emerge from Master Of Keraunos, who appeared in need of the experience when reaching the frame on his opening bid at Chelmsford. Tommo's Ginjaninja can fare best of the remainder.

Despite a penalty, SHAFI looks the one to beat, having built on his debut form when winning over C&D in October.

NO NAY DATA outran odds of 18/1 when touched off at Kempton in October and would have learned a great deal from that experience. With normal improvement, she will prove very hard to beat. Lordsbridge Bay finished last of five on debut at Wolverhampton, but could take a big step forward from that display. Any market confidence behind newcomer Thunderhoof would be interesting.

Tom Clover's NO NAY DATA went mighty close on her debut at Kempton in October and that is far and away the best form in this line-up.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CHANTELLE made a strong impression when winning under a penalty at Wolverhampton last month and will relish this extra furlong. An opening mark of 78 looks on the lenient side and the daughter of Gleneagles can progress again to remain unbeaten. Breathe Easy got off the mark at Kempton and with the Andrew Balding yard in brilliant form, he has to be respected. Ebn Sabt can beat Silver State home for third.

The extra distance will surely see CHANTELLE (nap) improve on this handicap debut, having won 7f novice events on her only two starts.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It's fair to say Aisling Oscar has been the story of the winter after he completed an eight-timer over C&D prior to only going down by half a length at Newcastle. He should remain competitive, but SAYTARR is the wiser option. The son of Mehmas made his first appearance for the James Horton yard a victorious one at this course and can go in again. Glistening completes the shortlist.

Top of the list is the remarkable AISLING OSCAR, who won eight in a row before his clear second at Newcastle two weeks ago.

19:30 Southwell (Class 3) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A chance is taken on the returning HIGH STORM, who ran well in a couple of outings last year and is expected to have improved for a gelding operation. The betting could prove a good guide as to who is more fancied between him and stablemate Distorted Truth, a promising second at Kempton on debut, while the same can be said for Charlie Appleby's two newcomers Pursuit Of Love and Sailor Song. You Got To My Soul is no forlorn hope either.

An interesting race in which Charlie Appleby's newcomer PURSUIT OF LOVE gets the vote ahead of Distorted Truth.

20:00 Southwell (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Havachoc has won his last three outings and must enter calculations, but narrow preference is for the less exposed VELVET RED. Charlie Clover's filly won going away on her handicap debut over C&D last month and, with the promise of more to come, she is fancied to defy a 5lb rise in the ratings. Prince Achille has a squeak with his sights lowered, while Seraphic and The Corporate Guy are each-way contenders.

The vote goes to the progressive HAVACHOC, who completed a hat-trick with his cosy win at Newcastle 13 days ago.

20:30 Southwell (Class 5) 4f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CONTORNO justified strong market support when striking on his second handicap start at Newcastle and with the third and fourth from that contest winning since, he could double up off a 4lb higher mark. Alistair Rawlinson got a good tune out of Love Alive at Wolverhampton earlier this month and hopefully she can prove that 22/1 success was no fluke. Call Margot remains unexposed and may improve for dropping in class.

Contorno won in game fashion at Newcastle but a 1lb rise may not prevent LOVE ALIVE from following up her Wolverhampton success.
