Simiyann has the stamina needed to win this having come home in front three times over two miles or more, with one of those off his current rating, but he may have to give way to KINGDOM OF STARS on this occasion. A Kempton winner in July, he was last seen finishing third at the same track and drops to this class for the first time since May. New York Minute is the pick of the remainder.

Ralph Beckett's 3yo NEW YORK MINUTE was strong at the finish when scoring at Chelmsford and is open to more progress back up in trip.

Grimese's Special kept on to spring a 66/1 shock over 7f on her second start, but she needs to prove that wasn't a fluke. Blooming Legend won over this trip at Lingfield before a third on heavy at Salisbury and could go well, but PREVIOUS deserves another chance. Successful at Newcastle on debut, she was then put in her place by Allegresse at Kempton but time may tell that performance was better than it appeared at first glance.

This looks tricky but Newcastle winner PREVIOUS ran into a smart prospect at Kempton last time and she gets the vote on nursery debut.

Valkyrie Storm pulled too hard for her own good before finishing third at Chepstow and is a player if she learns to settle, but preference is for ATTENTION SEEKER. A hood was added after the Harry Eustace-trained juvenile's Kempton debut and it resulted in a much-improved second at Brighton, where he still looked as if he would learn more from the experience. Newcomer Turku is one to watch, with Thirsk third Magical Merlot another to consider.

The usefully bred ATTENTION SEEKER was runner-up at Brighton last month on his second start and can go one better today.

More was expected of Mr Nippy when only managing eighth at Chelmsford and there will be plenty who give him another chance on just his third start. However, WINDING STREAM is a half-brother to Spycraft, who struck on the all-weather as a juvenile. If the market vibes are strong, Richard Hughes' newcomer might prove hard to beat. Bear Steps would have learned a lot from her seventh at Lingfield and completes the shortlist.

The vote goes to WINDING STREAM, who cost 40,000gns last autumn and is a half-brother to a 7f 2yo debut winner.

ZABEEL ALKABEIR created a good impression when making a winning debut at Lingfield before being well beaten in the Group 2 Park Stakes at Doncaster. James Tate's colt takes a sizeable drop in grade and looks the one to beat. Shamacid finished a place in front of Proud To Be Fox when third over 6f at Wolverhampton and can confirm that form to have a say. El Pinto is the pick of the remainder.

Proud To Be Fox is capable of better but ZABEEL ALKABEIR can leave Doncaster behind him and confirm his debut promise.

SPECIAL GHAIYYATH and Bernalda are both seeking hat-tricks, but preference is afforded to the former after his triumph at Haydock last month. The son of Ghaiyyath was making his handicap/stable debut that day and despite a 3lb rise it would come as no great surprise were he to find further progress. Stablemate Bin Ajwad was raised 6lb having won over C&D last month but remains of considerable interest.

This is a step up in class for BERNALDA but she is 9lb ahead of the handicapper and can complete her hat-trick.

ANCIENT TIMES has won a couple of sprints on the turf already this year and he ran with credit to finish third over the minimum trip here latest . That was his first start since June, so the son of Exceed And Excel is expected to go close from an unchanged mark. True Promise is 4lb lower than when winning over C&D last October and cannot be ruled out, while Dark Side Thunder could also be involved.

Ancient Times is enjoying a good season but the class-dropping TRUE PROMISE (nap) is preferred.

DESERT MASTER has posted a couple of positive efforts at Newcastle of late and that augurs well for his chances. The son of Blue Point struck from a 7lb higher mark over C&D at the start of the year and it could be his turn again. Marcus has yet to win but recent placed efforts on the turf suggest he can make his presence felt, while Red Walls and Arlington ought to have a fighting chance too.

Arlington should make a bold bid but PIPERSTOWN lurks on a dangerous mark and he can strike now returned to 5f.

NIGHT TARA has remained in excellent form since winning on her handicap bow at Chelmsford in August. The extended 2m trip stretched her stamina here latest, but this shorter distance shouldn't be an issue, and Sir Mark Prescott's filly should mount a bold bid from an unchanged mark. The consistent Spring Chorus is likely be thereabouts once again, and although Mission Possible disappointed on her handicap bow it is too soon to write her off.

This can go to NIGHT TARA, who has a record of 12212 in handicaps and is open to more progress on this drop back in trip.
