14:05 Stratford (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Consistency paid off for BETTY'S TIARA when getting off the mark at Uttoxeter last time out, and a mark of 110 could prove to be lenient. Ben Pauling's charge is narrowly preferred to Serious Chat, who is somewhat unlucky not to be arriving here on a hat-trick after being narrowly denied over 3m1f at Warwick in May. Baltray has been well fancied in recent starts without showing much, and it could pay to keep the faith.

Recent maiden winner Betty's Tiara probably won't be far away but three-time course winner JUAN BERMUDEZ might be the answer.

14:40 Stratford (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JUST CHASING MAY continues to go from strength to strength as he switches between codes and a 10lb rise for his debut success over fences at Worcester in August looks manageable for the son of Isfahan. Turned out again quickly under a 7lb penalty after scoring at Sedgefield last week, Aslukwoodhavit must be a key player on the rise in distance, while Sherborne arrives on the back of a second wind surgery but has won on two of his last four outings.

Aslukwoodhavit is not opposed lightly but JUST CHASING MAY created a very good impression on his chasing debut in August.

15:15 Stratford (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

STARDROP shaped with promise when second on his hurdling debut behind a more experienced rival at Market Rasen. With improvement expected from that contest, he can see off hurdling newcomer Africa Charm, who has shown some promise on the Flat. Not beaten far on his first start for new connections on the level recently, No Release is another to monitor for market support.

He needs to learn to settle much better if he is to achieve his full potential over hurdles but STARDROP is the one to beat here.

15:50 Stratford (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

After displaying clear promise on his hurdling debut in August, MR MCLOUGHLAN was able to step forward and score at Worcester next time. Jack Jones' gelding must now shoulder a penalty but with further improvement likely, he could follow up. However, the same can be said for Soul Limbo, who won on the Flat most recently having been successful over timber when last in this sphere. Test The Market made a pleasing stable debut over C&D last month and appeals most of the remainder.

The suggestion is TEST THE MARKET, who ran well in defeat behind a next-time-out winner over C&D on last month's stable/hurdle debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It looks best to side with FOURTOWNS, who was said to have benefitted from a more patient ride when on target at Fontwell a fortnight ago. The Affinisea gelding remains competitively treated from 4lb higher and should this play out similarly, further success could await. The Expensive One goes handicapping having posted a creditable second at Worcester last month so is entitled to plenty of respect, while Renoir might fare better down in class, having struggled in a class 3 at Plumpton recently.

A 4lb rise could turn out to be lenient on FOURTOWNS (nap), who made stylish headway before asserting at Fontwell a fortnight ago

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BOOM BOOM was struck into before being eased when eighth over shorter at Worcester in August but is best judged on his two summer wins here. The latest of which came over C&D in July off 5lb lower. If he is fully recovered, the seven-year-old could get back to winning ways, with Trapista his biggest danger. An encouraging fourth at Fontwell last month, she has won off higher marks in the past. Sleeping Satellite could also get involved if he learns to settle.

Preference is for BEGIN THE LUCK, who is very well suited by this track and will hopefully be back on song after his four-month break.

Ballyeaston set connections back 50,000 pounds after being beaten a short-head in an Irish point-to-point and he could be the one to give HAY MAX a race. Beaten two lengths by a race-fit rival at Bangor in April, the son of Maxios looks the sort to learn plenty from the experience. Maxfly D'agrostis hasn't seen out his point-to-points, but could be a different proposition dropped in trip on his Rules bow.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
