1st (3) (16/5 -60%)Enjoy The Dream |
16/5(-60%) | (3) Enjoy The Dream 16/5, Ran to form back down in trip second beaten 1/2l in a novice chase here latest; steadily progressive; versatile ground wise; returning from a break; threat Runner-up to a now 130-rated horse over C&D in April; go close with a repeat of that run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/2 +17%)Luminous Light |
5/2(+17%) | (1) Luminous Light 5/2, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap over 12f at Galway most recent; good ground suits; progressive in this sphere; every chance Won over fences at Clonmel in February but poor on Flat return last time; has to rebound. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (40/1 +20%)Sayitfirst |
40/1(+20%) | (4) Sayitfirst 40/1, Down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Ballinrobe most recent; generally out of form over hurdles and fences; hard to recommend Has been poor lately including on chasing debut and can't be fancied in this class. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (5/6 +31%)Ma Belle Etoile |
5/6(+31%) | (2) Ma Belle Etoile 5/6, Travelled, improved from debut when won a beginners chase chase at Wexford by 4l last time; more to come judged on hurdle form; good ground suits; can follow up Won a Wexford beginners' chase since; is penalised for that but is still a major player. |

Sayitfirst is out of her depth, but there is very little between the other three on ratings. MA BELLE ETOILE scoped dirty after disappointing on her chase debut here in May, but has since bounced back to form. Easily accounting for six rivals at Wexford, she had a subsequent winner back in third. Successful in Grade 2 company over hurdles, Enjoy The Dream is without a win in six starts since switching to the larger obstacles. Beaten just half a length at this venue on her latest outing, though, it will come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better. Luminous Light is the only gelding in the line-up and, after a recent spin on the level at Galway, this four-time winner can't be dismissed.

Runner-up to a now 130-rated rival over C&D on last start back in April, ENJOY THE DREAM can take this with a repeat of that form.

1st (2) (3/1 -9%)El Champo |
3/1(-9%) | (2) El Champo 3/1, Returned to form back over hurdles when fourth, beaten 13l, in a handicap hurdle at Galway last time; lost form over fences before that; well treated on these terms on best efforts and can go well. Poor on last two chase starts but has a chance if back to the form of his better efforts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (3/1 +14%)On Lovers Walk |
3/1(+14%) | (6) On Lovers Walk 3/1, Disappointing when comfortably held in a beginners chase at Roscommon last time; had been in good form prior; off a short break and could figure. Maiden was poor at Roscommon last time but a repeat of his best will see him go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (8) (7/2 +56%)Hurricane Honey |
7/2(+56%) | (8) Hurricane Honey 7/2, Travelled comfortably and improved down in trip back on better ground when winning a 2m3f handicap hurdle at Downpatrick by 6l last time; could leave chase debut form behind. Won over hurdles last time and rated 98 in that sphere; poor sole chase run; can do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (2/1 -7%)Mic Drop |
2/1(-7%) | (5) Mic Drop 2/1, Below form when outclassed, finishing fourth and beaten 17l, in a 3m Conditions Hurdle at Down Royal last time; bumper winner returning from a break; a threat on chase debut with drop in trip a plus. Bumper winner is rated 109 over hurdles; yard does well here so has to be respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (100/1 -52%)Jimmybrien |
100/1(-52%) | (4) Jimmybrien 100/1, Finished down the field in a 3m maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last time; well held on both previous chase starts and hard to recommend. Rated only 82 over hurdles after three unplaced runs so has a lot to find on chasing debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (40/1 -82%)Derby Rock |
40/1(-82%) | (1) Derby Rock 40/1, Below form when well beaten in a 3m handicap hurdle at Wexford last time; generally out of form and yet to fully prove stamina for this trip. Poor over hurdles lately and is rated only 86 so has to make huge progress tackling fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (25/1 -56%)Fascinating Shadow |
25/1(-56%) | (3) Fascinating Shadow 25/1, Went clear but made too much use of when well beaten in a 2m1f handicap hurdle at Cork last time; poor flat form before; major stamina doubts on chase debut. Beaten a long way after racing wide at Cork last time; has to return to best on chase bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (12/1 -50%)Cher Tara |
12/1(-50%) | (7) Cher Tara 12/1, Pulled up in a 2m2f handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan last time; hurdles winner on good ground; top course trainer; returning from a break and more needed on chase debut. Lame when pulled-up last time; cheekpieces retained but needs more on chasing debut. |

David O'Brien does well with his runners at Tramore and looks to have found a nice opportunity for MIC DROP. The winner of a point-to-point and bumper, he failed to add to his tally over flights. Long regarded as a chaser in the making, he switches to the larger obstacles and it will be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end. Hurricane Honey made the breakthrough at Downpatrick last month and will be well fancied to follow up now she tries chasing again. Third in handicap company here back in April, On Lovers Walk should give a good account of himself, while Cher Tara and El Champo are others for the shortlist.

MIC DROP wasn't at his best over hurdles when last seen but is a point winner and can get off the mark over fences on first try.

5/2(+64%) | (2) Louiescall 5/2, Ideally suited by trip when winning a handicap at Leopardstown over 1m7f by 3l last time; steadily progressive on flat; needs to leave previous hurdle form behind 34.25l to find with Tatateo based on hurdles debut but has been running well on the Flat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

33/1(+67%) | (7) Harpy Eagle 33/1, Unseated in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Clonmel latest; showed little over hurdles prior; returning from a break; all to do Tailed off in two maiden hurdles and unseated at the first at Clonmel last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (25/1 -79%)Eastern Blue Bird |
25/1(-79%) | (4) Eastern Blue Bird 25/1, Green, outclassed when down the field in a novice hurdle over 2m1f at Bellewstown most recent; hard to recommend and needs this for a mark Modest bumper form and in two hurdles runs; hard to recommend. |

50/1(+0%) | (5) Footstepstoglory 50/1, Outclassed when well beaten in a novice hurdle over 2m1f at Galway latest; generally out of form; usually held up; yet to show much Sent off at huge prices for three hurdle starts and ran like it; passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (40/1 -60%)Gypsy Poet |
40/1(-60%) | (6) Gypsy Poet 40/1, Well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Roscommon only start; all to do Always behind on debut in Roscommon maiden hurdle; can't be fancied based on that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (25/1 -79%)Fine Print |
25/1(-79%) | (1) Fine Print 25/1, Yard has won last two runnings of race; below par when down the field in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Galway most recent; dual flat winner in spring but out of form over hurdles; hard to recommend Won twice on AW in April; well held in two recent hurdle starts; unlikely winner. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (50/1 -100%)Morning Mayhem |
50/1(-100%) | (9) Morning Mayhem 50/1, Below par when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Roscommon most recent; needs to get back to level of bumper form to figure Moderate bumper runs and hurdles didn't improve him at Roscommon last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (12) (18/1 -13%)Zaryagle |
18/1(-13%) | (12) Zaryagle 18/1, Comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Roscommon last time; that improved form; sound surface suits; each way claims Half-brother to Zanhiyr; modicum of promise in fifth last time; can do better in time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (25/1 -56%)Ontheprom |
25/1(-56%) | (10) Ontheprom 25/1, Mahler gelding; half-brother to Magic Magnolia, useful at 21f; tough enough task on debut Half-brother to two winners; dam US 5f winner; worth a market check in weak race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (50/1 -100%)Unknown God |
50/1(-100%) | (11) Unknown God 50/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 3m at Bartlemy only start; off a short-break; probably best watched on rules debut Tailed off in sole point start and that form leaves him with a lot to find. |

With good experience over flights to his name, TATATEO should prove hard to beat. Going down by just a neck at Sligo, he then filled the runner-up spot again on his latest outing at Galway, where he encouragingly drew 17 lengths clear of the third. He had some well-fancied rivals behind him at Ballybrit and a reproduction of that effort would be enough to take this much weaker contest. A winner on the Flat at Leopardstown last week, Louiescall is the danger. He was well behind the selection when they clashed at Punchestown in June, but should get a lot closer now. A dual winner on the level, Fine Print represents John McConnell and Ben Harvey, with the pair taking this race for the last two years.

The standout on form appears to be TATATEO who should be capable of giving away weight to most of his rivals and winning

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (8/1 -60%)Expound |
8/1(-60%) | (1) Expound 8/1, Game and readily, thrown in on flat form, improved when scoring by 2l off 109 over 2m1f at Clonmel in May; third beaten a length off 79 last time; enjoys making it; should show some improvement back over hurdles. Dual-purpose sort was a winner when last seen in this sphere and good recent runs on Flat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (7/2 -17%)Jerrari |
7/2(-17%) | (5) Jerrari 7/2, Travelled well and improved when landing a handicap by 4l off 105 over 2m1f at Galway last time; progressive; good ground suits; should remain competitive. Back-to-back wins, up 9lb for last win but won easily; may be capable of winning again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

7th (6) (6/1 +25%)Tell Us This |
6/1(+25%) | (6) Tell Us This 6/1, Travelled and did it easily when scoring by 8l off 100 over 2m2f at Downpatrick on penultimate start; made too much use of and challenged too early when eighth beaten 12l off 111 last time; bit to find. Off the mark on penultimate with easy victory; 11.5l behind Jerrari last time; needs more. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (14/1 +0%)Run For Harry |
14/1(+0%) | (2) Run For Harry 14/1, Did too much too soon when taken on up front and finished down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Galway last time; blinkers first time; top jockey back on board; unreliable. Out of form this year; penultimate run was good; last time less so; needs to bounce back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (25/1 -79%)Synchronize |
25/1(-79%) | (10) Synchronize 25/1, Slowly away and comfortably held in a handicap over 11f at Killarney last time; in moderate form for some time; bit to find. 0-10 under rules; stayed on for sixth on Flat at Killarney last time; others more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (9) (11/1 +21%)Star Official |
11/1(+21%) | (9) Star Official 11/1, Ran to form when beaten 7l in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Wexford last time; usually consistent; prefers waiting tactics; threat if getting decent pace to aim at. C&D winner here in April and has been running consistently since that; each-way chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (8) (22/1 -57%)Pidoyne |
22/1(-57%) | (8) Pidoyne 22/1, Probably needed the race when well beaten in a handicap over 12f at Limerick last time; usually held up; significant jockey booking; off a short break; needs more. Roscommon winner last summer from 6lb lower; low-key Flat return; needs more. |

Four-year-olds have a good record in this feature contest and, with that in mind, RAYDAMANN is the selection. Running well in stronger contests of late and a solid fifth on his most recent start at Galway, his mark of 118 has remained unchanged. The hat-trick seeking Jerrari is the second choice. From the family of Jezki, the five-year-old is clearly a progressive sort and might still be ahead of the handicapper. Lurking at the bottom of the weights, Granpa Ger is tried in first-time cheekpieces and warrants the utmost respect with Danny Mullins aboard. Others for the shortlist in a competitive affair are the locally-trained Yosemite Gold, joint top-weight Expound and C&D winner Hasten Slowly.

Few can be ruled out with great confidence but JERRARI is given the nod to make it three victories on the bounce

11/8(+15%) | (2) Faceman 11/8, Well treated back in a handicap, ran to form second beaten 3 1/2l in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Kilbeggan latest; progressive; should be thereabouts once again Kilbeggan maiden winner was 2nd in a h'cap there since; progressive and looks a big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (9/4 +36%)Time In A Bottle |
9/4(+36%) | (5) Time In A Bottle 9/4, Yard won this last year; ran to form second beaten 3l in a maiden hurdle over 2m3f at Kilbeggan latest; consistent; longer trip should suit; outside chance Is 3lb out of the weights with the top three in this field but amateur takes off 7lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (7/4 -8%)Derryville |
7/4(-8%) | (1) Derryville 7/4, Improved again up in trip second beaten 2l in a novice hurdle over 2m6f at Downpatrick latest; course winner; sound surface suits; every chance Course hurdle winner has run well twice since and yard is in good form so a big player. |

Out of the brilliant Solerina, FACEMAN has turned a corner in recent starts. Making all at Kilbeggan, he then finished second to Ballykinlar at the Co Westmeath venue, with that one giving the form a boost by following up at Sligo last week. After registering a double at Downpatrick on Sunday, Sam Curling and Phillip Enright are represented by course winner Derryville. The highest-rated runner in the line-up, she has to give weight to all of her rivals. Although still a maiden, Time In A Bottle is of definite interest with Josh Williamson claiming 7lb. Runner-up three times from seven starts, she certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn.

DERRYVILLE was 7l in front of Warriors Wood when second at Downpatrick last time and can confirm that form.

11/2(+21%) | (9) Newport 11/2, Ran to form but tired late on when beaten 9 1/4l in a 2m3f handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan; contender if stamina holds up. Is 0-11 over hurdles but okay run on penultimate; down 2lb more and may run into a place. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (20/1 -11%)Alright Darling |
20/1(-11%) | (8) Alright Darling 20/1, Pulled up in a 3m handicap hurdle at Wexford; out of form; easy to look elsewhere. 0-8 and yet to really threaten; down another 3lb but hard to fancy. |

7th (6) (8/1 -7%)Mother Ship |
8/1(-7%) | (6) Mother Ship 8/1, Too much to do and met trouble at a key stage when 4 1/4l third in a handicap hurdle at Sligo; in the mix with a clear passage. Flew home at Sligo last time after being short of room; interesting contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (8/1 -100%)Thats All |
8/1(-100%) | (10) Thats All 8/1, Needed every yard and ran to form when scoring by 1 1/2l off 76 over 2m3f at Kilbeggan; ran to form again off 81 last time when third beaten 5l; usually held up and not the strongest finisher; go close if stamina holds up. Off the mark at Kilbeggan off 76; failed to follow up last time but good run; good chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (16/1 +43%)Toor Moon |
16/1(+43%) | (11) Toor Moon 16/1, Below form up in grade after doing plenty early when down the field in a handicap hurdle at Listowel; generally out of form; off a short break; needs to get back to 2024 form. No wins from 25; conceivably runs best after a break but hard to recommend him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (13/2 -63%)The Border Boy |
13/2(-63%) | (13) The Border Boy 13/2, Raced wide for best ground and improved down in trip when landing a handicap by 3l off 72 over 2m1f at Cork; has run well here before; may have more to offer now he's had his head in front; threat. Winner last time and creditable effort here in May; up 5lb but of obvious interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (22/1 +12%)Positive Mindset |
22/1(+12%) | (12) Positive Mindset 22/1, Outpaced and may not have handled the track or softer ground when comfortably held in a 2m6f handicap hurdle at Cartmel; significant jockey booking; better ground a plus; likes the track; very interesting. No wins from eight but best of those was at this track on penultimate; place-chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (4) (125/1 -150%)Keep It Cool |
125/1(-150%) | (4) Keep It Cool 125/1, Up in trip and may not have stayed when down the field in a 3m1f handicap hurdle at Roscommon; generally out of form; bit to find. Three runs this year not encouraging; others make more appeal.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (10/1 +17%)Glendine Billy |
10/1(+17%) | (3) Glendine Billy 10/1, Needed the run when down the field in a 2m3f handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan; generally out of form; cheekpieces on for the first time; trainer in form; bit to find. Is 0-12; good run here last year when second of 13; generally poor form since then. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (15) (22/1 -10%)Notevenatext |
22/1(-10%) | (15) Notevenatext 22/1, Possibly didn't stay when down the field in a 3m handicap hurdle at Tipperary; inconsistent; bit to find. Shaped with promise when third in May; probably didn't stay last time; could rebound. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (14) (25/1 -14%)Tennesse Boy |
25/1(-14%) | (14) Tennesse Boy 25/1, Made mistakes and still looked green when down the field in a 2m1f handicap hurdle at Wexford; generally out of form; more needed. Hasn't shown a huge amount in maidens or two handicap hurdle starts; others preferred. |

INCHIDALY COPPER might be able to exploit a much lower hurdles mark. Rated 21lb higher over fences, the nine-year-old has been disappointing in recent starts. However, he might enjoy returning to a track where he has won before and, with Andy Burke-Ott back in the saddle, it will be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end. Belatedly making the breakthrough at Cork last week, The Border Boy went up just 5lb and it will come as no surprise if he manages to follow up. Third in that Cork heat, Thats All warrants the utmost respect, while others for the shortlist in a competitive affair are top-weight General Clermont, Glendine Billy (first-time cheekpieces) and the locally-trained Newport.

Flying home to take third at Sligo last time after being caught short of room, MOTHER SHIP(nap) looks as though she is ready to strike.

Second in this race 12 months ago, WINTER FOG should prove hard to beat. A high-class performer over flights, he failed to make an impact in the Galway Hurdle on his latest start but although he finished 11th, he still had some smart performers behind. It's surprising that Jody Townend isn't aboard the Willie Mullins-trained selection, with the Grade 1-winning pilot instead partnering Master Sydney. Successful in a bumper at Roscommon, this Paul Flynn-trained four-year-old since failed to make an impact on her Flat debut at Galway. The Banger Doyle, Magnor Glory and Lord Ffrench are other leading contenders, with the latter successful over flights at Sligo last week.

Most of these have been running over hurdles and based on those ratings, the 11yo WINTER FOG is the one to beat
Ths is the racecard key.
